600 square foot ground floor apartment with private gated 950 square foot courtyard. Finishes include, heart pine floors, European fixtures, Carrara marble countertops, custom cabinets, gel fuel fireplace, washer dryer, custom bath and luxury linens. WiFi, K-cup coffee maker and coffee is included. Location is perfect! Right on King Street in the historic district. Walk everywhere, car is not needed. Optional parking is located at a local garage for an additional fee of $16/day payable to them. Parking rates subject to change. This listing is a LEGAL listing. About The Owner

The owners are Ashley & Batu Aytore. They own and operate the antique shop in the front of apartment for rent. This is very convenient, as we are usually around to handle any questions you may have.

From the moment the Bear and his special someone arrived at this perfectly decorated apartment he knew they were going to have an amazing time in Charleston! From the day we inquired about staying at this location to the day we left, the property owners (Ashley and Batu) could not have been more helpful! They communicated regularly to give us information on the property offerings as well as what to do around town. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable. It had plenty of space, but kept the cozy charm that we were hoping to get from a stay in this quaint town! We would LOVE to return when the weather is a bit warmer to enjoy the private patio tucked around the back of the apartment. The owners thought of everything – from details like convenient place cards showing where useful items are to makeup cloths in the bathroom. The apartment itself was more than enough to make the stay amazing, but on top of that the location was perfect! Everything in the downtown area was within walking distance and parking was just around the corner for the days we chose to rent a car. The apartment was very private and although located right off the main street running through town, it was extremely quiet. The bear will definitely be back and highly recommends staying at this property if you find yourself wanting to have the same wonderful experience that we did!

Great location, very clean, well appointed!

This was great location on King. Well appointed and clean. Lots of towels provided which is nice. The space is more than adequate. It’s lacking a little natural light as it is in the rear of the building so it’s a little dark, but overall super nice. Would definitely book again. Owners very helpful and responded very promptly to any questions we had.

Perfect blend of location, space, quality!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the condo for a long weekend during the Wine & Food festival. We could not have been more pleased by our stay! The property is right off King St, so walking to many nearby restaurants and attractions was a breeze. It's set back off King St far enough that it remains very private and you hear no noise at all! The unit itself is both very well decorated and was recently updated with high quality finishes. Fantastic shower! Bed and linens were both lovely. Everything was clean and spotless. Great communication from owner. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to Charleston! Thank you!

Perfect in many ways!

The apartment is very well appointed, modern yet very cozy. The bed and pillows are Super comfortable, everything was clean and beautiful. The location is perfect! Right on busy King St. But in a private alley so no foot traffic or people noise. It felt removed from the city bustle yet you’re right in the city next to everything - restaurants, shops... Ashley (owner) was very attentive and responsive. Perfect spot for my husband and I to escape from the cold (Boston) and enjoy a few days in Charlston!

Amazing little hide-away!

My husband and I visited Charleston to celebrate our 29th anniversary. We were hoping to find a private, romantic little hide-away right in the thick of historic downtown. This lovely apartment completely fit the bill! We couldn’t have asked for more! The location is absolutely perfect! Located on historic King Street, the apartment itself is on the rear side of the building with a beautiful private courtyard. And because it is on the rear of the building, it is extremely quiet! The interior has been beautifully renovated, and decorated with amazing period antiques. The linens and bedding are top notch, and Ashley and Batu added so many special touches to make us feel at home. We also felt very secure, as entrance to the apartment requires passing through two locked gates.

There are so many things to love about this property! But the location is probably the best part. Wonderful shops, galleries, amazing food and night life, museums and historic sites, beautiful parks, and the City Market are all within an easy walk.

We just can’t wait to come back and spend time here again. Thank you so much, Ashley and Batu, for a wonderful, restful vacation!

Great location, well appointed Charleston apartment!

My husband and I spent 4 nights in late September at this lovely property. The location was absolutely perfect and it sits enough off the street to be quiet while still having everything easily accessible. We had a car, but it stayed parked at the garage around the corner the whole time we were there--you definitely don't need one. The apartment is perfect for a couple and we really appreciated the comfy king bed and nicely appointed bathroom as well as the washer/dryer and perfectly functioning air conditioning. It was warm and humid while we were there, so we didn't use the terrace space, but it would definitely be a perfect spot for a glass of wine. We didn't really use the kitchen as there are so many great places to eat in Charleston, but it looks just as pictured with nice, new appliances. The owners were very responsive to a couple of questions that we had and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely plan to stay here again the next time we're in Charleston!
