I'm so impressed with the hosts' communication and the easy arrival/departure. The accommodations are beautiful and we had all the amenities we needed - coffee bar, bathroom essentials, separate temp controls by room plus a great location with convenient parking. Highly recommend this stay!

Our stay at the Thomas Waring House was perfect. I definitely plan on staying here again. Charming location and neighborhood with walkable coffeehouses and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the host provided us with speedy communication for any questions. Highly recommend.

Was okay. The mattresses appeared lumpy, the TV did not have a volume control and not usual programming so our elderly guest that could not walk a lot could not watch any July 4th festivities around the country.

This unit should be described as ground level, situated on a one way street, and that the off street parking is not directly located on the property. Both beds had zero support. The rug in the larger bedroom smelled like a wet dog. The cooktop fan did not work. The oven emitted gas fumes the first time we turned it on and we had to open the door to air it out. Then, bc of the gas fumes, we were advised not to use it and we had to eat out bc we could not cook. That was an expense we did not plan on. The coffee table is way too large for the den. There were four of us and we felt cramped trying to sit in the den together.

What a great time we had staying at this property. We had also had great communication with the manager of the property. Everything was clean and the access was super easy as well. We look forward to visiting the area again and we will definitely will stay with these properties again. Great accommodations! I would recommend this management.

The space and amenities are great. We had an issue with noisy neighbors which the host addressed. There could be more institutions on handling the dishes, laundry and info on local attractions and restaurants.

Loved this beautiful house. In walking distance to many restaurants. Owners added nice touches like noise machines in bedrooms since it is in the city. Spotless home and the owner/rental person was superb!

Lovely and checks all the boxes

We had an excellent stay! First, the location was excellent. We were able to walk downtown for sightseeing, shopping and food. It felt safe. Second, the property is lovely. The historic house is beautiful with modern updates and all the essentials. It was just what our family of four needed. Lastly, the communication was excellent from the time of our booking to our departure. We would stay again if visiting the area!

Stayed 3 nights to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday! The property was very clean and as described on the listing. The beds were very comfy - we all slept well our entire stay! We did not utilize parking, but noticed the spot available. There were many options within walking distance (or a short Uber ride) for coffee and a variety of dining options. The property manager was very attentive and easy to get in touch with when needed (even helping me retrieve my earrings that fell down the drain by accident within hours - thanks again for that!). All in all a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Charleston (close to the action of downtown but without the weekend nightlife disruption ;). Only thing I wish we would have had was a little outdoor patio space to enjoy the beautiful weather during our downtime - so if that's a must for you, you may want to look elsewhere!

Wonderful experience from the communication, cleanliness, amenities, and LOCATION! This unit offered off street parking which was wonderful and had sound machines available for a peaceful sleep. I cannot rave enough about the location. Easily walkable to many things including King Street. The house was very comfortable, updated, and extremely clean.Would highly recommend to all my friends/family that want to visit Charleston.

The property was great! It mixed the charm of Charleston but with modern upgrades inside. The location was perfect for quick Ubers to King Street and other locales. Our only complaint (and this is not about the apartment at all) was that a bachelor party had rented the unit next door and they were extremely loud and partied all night long (we heard the police come out several times telling them to quiet down). Other than that, the neighborhood was wonderful and safe. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Charleston.

Very nice accommodations, fabulous neighborhood, 1 mile walk to downtown. Only problem was noise from residents above us late into night/early morning. No insulation or sound barrier in floor above bedrooms.

I would have given an overall rating of 5, but the communication with Josh was very poor. When I booked the reservation 4 months prior to our arrival, Josh messaged me that there were 2 parking places available. However, the day before our arrival, Josh messaged me that was no longer the case. Evidently, unit A was to get both spots on our 4th and 5th nights. He did provide street parking passes for those nights. Unfortunately, we had to park one car a half a mile away. We are all in our seventies and eightes. So it was quite frustrating that unit A didn't use the parking spots at all on the fourth night. We were able to use the spots on our last night which was very helpful when packing up to leave. Therefore, I had to give a 1 rating for communication.
