A Clean and Simple Retreat
Come find peace and relaxation at this simple country home. Located on a quiet road with easy access to Hunter and Windham towns and Ski resorts. Countless hiking options, lakes and other outdoor activities during the Spring, Summer and Fall. Imagine morning coffee on the large front covered porch while overlooking the newly rehabbed East Kill Creek (stocked with brown trout DEC). 

The Space
Originally built in the late 1800s, this historical country home has been recently updated with an open floor plan on the first floor, finished in beautiful Bamboo floors and includes updated Culligan water system, Sub-zero refrigerator and propane Viking stove. There is also a Washer and Dryer located upstairs.

Guest Access
You will have access to the entire house and property. Adequate cell phone reception. Fiber optic Wi-Fi for all your needs, along with a binder full of area secrets and suggestions to keep you entertained and busy. The house has books and toys for the kids as well as games and puzzles for the adults.

Help us keep our beautiful Bamboo floors in good condition, remove your shoes and boots while in the house.
Please only drive on the driveway. The house septic is located in front of the house and you don’t want to damage it.
Wash sandy/dirty feet or clothing outside by the hose. You will clog the old piping if you shower with dirt, costing us hundreds to fix.

Cozy house with easy access to Windham Ski Mountain

My family enjoyed our stay at this vacation home for our ski trip to Windham. We had everything we needed to relax after a day of skiing. The kitchen had what we needed to cook our own meals and the hosts provided very clear instructions for our stay. I plan to book this rental house for future trips to this area and would highly recommend this vacation home.

We've known this house for many years and have seen the renovations evolve. A great property, prime location for skiing either Hunter or Wyndham, and great hiking around the area. Excellent!

My family and I stayed here for Father’s Day weekend and we had a blast! The house sits on a good quiet location, and we were able to get everywhere in a short amount of time. The house itself is very welcoming, and we made use of the fire pit outside. My kids loved it, even the older kids! Would definitely rent this place again.

Great Location!

This recently renovated house was a great choice for the 2019 Taste Of Country Festival at Hunter Mountain. It was a short drive away and had plenty of room for six adults. We'd definitely stay here again for future visits to the Hunter area.

Great house for a mountain get away

Located between Windham and Hunter this house was very clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Recently remodeled and has high end appliances. The owners are extremely nice and take great care of their property. The welcome basket was very thoughtful and came in handy.

Clean and with fresh updates all around, high end appliances nice added touch, warm and cozy. plenty of space, and nice flat yard for flag football, big front porch, fire pit on side of the house.
