Sandy and Spouse are Amazing!!!

When I grow up I want to be as cool as Sandy and her husband...What incredible hosts! The house gives you Key West vibes with the perfect choice of decor around the property. The loft style apartment provides all that you need and more. I was hesitant at first knowing that the hosts live in the main house attached and share the pool/BBQ area but they are way more fun than even the people I came with! LOL...If I decide to come back to the area I will be happy to stay with them again!

Hidden Gem !

We loved our stay here. The apartment is clean, comfortably furnished, great bed and fully stocked kitchen. The use of the lanai and pool below is an added bonus. The owners are very helpful. They will help you with whatever you need and share with you the details of Punta Gorda. We will definitely miss this place!

Great vacation apartment

Wonderful place, superb location and great hosts. Will be back again Only disappointment was Wi-Fi was weak but owner put a hotspot in which was good.

An Oasis

Very serene location with well-appointed, spacious apartment. Fabulous pool and beautiful gathering area under the cover of the lanai. Sandy and Brian were the perfect hosts, always helpful and hospitable.

Clean, Comfy, Convenient Stay

My mother and I had a great experience with our stay. The unit was very clean, larger than we expected and really conveniently located. The A/C unit worked great, the beds were comfy and Sandy was also extremely helpful/welcoming to us while we visited. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area. We hope to be able to come back again soon!

We enjoyed our stay and updates at the rental. The new dining set is excellent. We also enjoyed the new swimming pool. It is so convenient for us to get to the Harbor walk and golf courses. We enjoy Sandy and Brian also. They give us hints on where to go and what to do. We feel at home.

We loved our stay

Our rental was great- we enjoyed the privacy. Also the location was excellent. We love the beach and within 15 minutes we were there. We cooked and cleaned and went to our destination. We walked on the Harbor walk in Punta Gorda. We played golf in the area and went to Fort Myers. There's not too much we didn't do - we will be back next year.

Sandy's Punta Gorda Apartment

We had a wonderful time. The place was great. The screened in Lanai area was a perfect place to sit and relax when we were done running around the Punta Gorda area during the day. Sandy even had a fire in the firepit for us one night. The dogs were friendly, made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks for everything Sandy.

A great home base to explore south west Florida

Brian and Sandy were great hosts. The apartment was quiet and peaceful. We felt safe there. We wanted a home base so we could explore the areas surrounding Punta Gorda. This apartment was everything we hoped it would be.

A Very Pleasant Stay

My wife and I stayed here with our 4-year-old daughter for 4 nights in late MAR 2019 while visiting family in nearby Port Charlotte. The owners, Brian & Sandy, are so friendly and really made our stay pleasant. They were especially patient/friendly with our very talkative daughter. Things we liked: -This unit is above the owner's garage, and they live in the adjacent home, but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. -The unit was very clean and plenty of towels, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. were provided. -Both the AC and heat worked well and we were always comfortable temp-wise. -The wifi worked well (there are 3 TVs but we never turned them on our entire stay, so I can't comment on that). -The king bed was extremely comfortable. -We appreciated the black-out curtains in the bedrooms and our daughter used the step-stool for the sink, which helped quite a bit. -Nice touch to have a washer/dryer within the unit. Things that could be improved: **Please note that I've awarded 5 stars, so these are just very minor suggestions** -Shower water pressure was on the weak side. -Since there is just one bathroom, it would be nice to have a 2nd mirror somewhere else in the unit. -The light switches were kind of confusing to try and figure out what operated what, so it might help to label some of them. -The ceiling fan in the living room wobbled quite a bit, so we just kept it off (temps were fine without it). -The freezer was kind of loud at times...it could have been the ice maker; not sure. -We knew this going in and it wasn't an issue for us, but there is just a small table and small breakfast bar in the kitchen...not a lot of space for preparing/eating a 'big family meal.' Other notes: -The property is gated at the driveway, so you are given a remote to operate the gate along with the key to the rental unit. -The owners have 4 dogs, 2 cats and a chicken coup, but none were an issue our entire stay and all were friendly (dogs/cats were kept in the house). -There is a Winn-Dixie at the corner of 17 and Bermont Rd which we found very convenient. -Even though the home is just a couple miles from 17, it feels very rural and there are no street lights on Bermont or Grovewood, making it kind of difficult to navigate in the dark. -The home is close to the Punta Gorda airport, so be prepared to hear those Allegiant planes, even as late as midnight :-)

Marvelous

Sandy was the perfect hostess. She made us feel welcome. The apartment was comfortable. The surrounding area was quite and peaceful. We are definitely reserving her place again in the near future. Owner went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Lot’s of privacy. Gift bag upon arrival was a nice touch. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We were in Florida to watch our son play college baseball. Property was located in close proximity to fields in Port Charlotte and Fort Myers. We would stay here again.😎
