Great location for a perfect spring family vacation

My husband and 2 daughters stayed here over April break and it was perfect for the 4 of us. The unit was well maintained, very clean and great location to shops and beaches. Only complaint would be the main pool was a little dirty but overall a great place and would recommend and stay there again.

Nice property

Clean property and nice pool area. Only issue was pool “Sand Bar” advertised it was open starting in May-September but was not open all week, but you could bring your own food and beverage so wasn’t a big deal. Enjoyed our stay at Coral Sands.

Panic at Check In Coral Sands Resort

Although I had been receiving communications from VRBO the week prior to my stay, when I went to check in, I was informed that I had no reservation and that the complex was full. I showed my VRBO info with confirmation # and payment information. The condo staff called VRBO who confirmed I did have a reservation. According to the condo staff someone from VRBO had cancelled my reservation on the Condo's system but not in VRBO's. It took the condo reservationist 2 hours to rearrange bookings so that they could get me in a condo for a week. The condo's there are mostly corporate owned with spartan furnishings but adequate. No rugs or carpeting anywhere. The bathroom was huge with a lot of wasted space but no privacy for the toilet from the tub or sink areas. The pool area was the best part of the complex with a large pool, lazy river, splash pad, fountains and a snack bar. Another plus is the great location of the complex right in the Coligny beach area. The condo's are fairly new with parking at your door and great landscaping. Despite all the negatives, I would stay there again.

The condo is very clean, updated and has all of the conveniences you will need. They even provide soaps for the dishwasher and clothes washer. Very comfortable base for your Hilton Head vacation. The resort itself is equally wonderful and the location can't be beat. Very close to the beach and Coligny Plaza shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this condo.

Weekend getaway

This property was very nice and we were extremely satisfied. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Unit was very clean. Our one request/suggestion would be to provide a few things like coffee/filters, shampoo and conditioner, etc.

Perfect location and very clean!

We had a great time here! The location was perfect for going to the beach or out to eat! We had our 5 month old daughter with us and the condo was spacious enough to fit the pack n play comfortably and have plenty of room for everything else. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing room, okay location

Our room was absolutely impeccable. It was clean, spacious, had everything we needed, and felt nearly brand new. The walk to the beach definitely felt longer than advertised and Coligny beach (which is the public beach on Hilton Head) was insanely crowded and not super enjoyable. We definitely prefer a resort or condo with it’s own beach access but if you don’t mind the public beach and walk the condo inside was amazing. The pool was pretty crowded, lots of kids.

My Say at Coral Sands!

Everything was great!! One thing we were not told about is the golf cart service that will come pick you up from your room and take you anywhere near by! We took it to restaurants and the beach but we had to figure this out on our own. We were not told at check in. We really enjoyed our stay!!

A great place for a lovely vacation

We had a wonderful time. This property appears new and clean. The resort seems well run and is constantly being groomed. If you don't mind a shared pool, a shared grilling area, and a bit of a walk to the beach, you will have a wonderful time too. It is right next to a grocery store and within walking distance of many restaurants. Coligny Plaza is on the way to the beach with restaurants, bars, shops, and music. We rented bikes for the week across the street at Pedals and we biked most places. Each day we biked miles on the beach and rode bike trails back to our condo. It was a lovely get-away. The only negative was that, upon check in, we were given a hard sales pitch to attend a time share presentation later in the week--NOT COOL! We simply didn't go, as we have vowed never to sit through one of those again! There was absolutely no interaction with the property manager because it appears that the resort takes care of everything. We did not have any problems, but if you do, the resort front desk is the point of contact. We stayed during COVID and it was nice to get away.

Hilton Head 2020

The property was great. The Desk Clerk nor the Manager at the Resort could locate my reservation during the check-in procedure. After several minutes and a call, the reservation was confirmed. The unit was excellent, the pool was great and the property was centrally located on the island offering close proximity to the beach.

Clean and updated condo near beach

I was never able to communicate with the actual host of this property, but luckily the resort is a separate entity that I was able to call directly in order to arrange our needs for late check-in. The resort and condo look pretty new and nice with updated interiors. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could need. Extremely clean. Our particular unit backed up to a busy road but I guess you can’t complain too much when you aren’t beachfront. It was perfect for our short 2-night stay but if you want something exclusive I would look elsewhere because the resort amenities are much smaller than they appear in the photos.

Top of the line! Clean, convenient, outstanding.

Last minute vacation rental. Very clean, amazing location, facilities were fantastic, couldn’t have asked for better. Only issue was timeliness of check in details. Had to call and email 2 hours before check in while we were already driving to location to ask for information on check in process.
