Smith September vacation

Ocean Blue Resorts. Wonderful time, great condo with great view and parking. Very clean with effortless check-in and out. September 23 here we come the area has something close for every age.

Nice place

Overall stay was good, we had issues getting into our room and while that was happening a written warning was was left on my car saying my car would be towed if the tag that was in our room wasn't put it the car. That was a little frustrating but other then that the place was nice, clean, some beach toys where there for the kids, we added to the collection. Overall nice place, everybody had a great time during our stay and once we got settled.

Sisters Trip

Everything was great. The light in the fridge was the only issue we had and that was nothing really. The parking was an issue as the parking spaces were tiny and there didn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to how they were numbered. We had three cars, so my niece had to park somewhere else. We had a great time and would definitely consider this again when we look for our trip next year.

We had so much fun!

It was wonderful to wake up to a view of the ocean. We loved the spaciousness of the unit. There were things missing from the kitchen, like dishcloths and towels and potholders. The tv in the bedroom with two full beds needs to be replaced.

Family Vacation

First of all the building is under new management and everything is a lot stricter. The staff wasn’t exactly the nicest bunch of people. The parking garage isn’t meant for big SUV’s and if you didn’t park far enough over the staff was all over you about not parking right. This is the third time we have stayed at this building and the second time in this same room. The overall stay was good but you can tell the rooms need a lot of TLC. The bed in the master bedroom was terrible. My wife and I both woke up with a sore back every morning. According to the other family members their beds weren’t very comfortable either. I think some new mattresses need to be purchased for every room. I think next year it’s time to look for a new place. All in all everyone had a nice time and the room is just a part of the total stay, but for the money you have to pay, the room could be a little nicer.

Great stay but lacks necessities

Loved the beach, the deck, the condo, and the pools. However, the condo was missing some necessities like hand soap, salt and pepper, coffee filters, dish soap, pot holders, etc…

As advertised

Parking- you get a unit space and visitors space. There’s not two marked unit spaces. We had to figure that out on our own. Upon check-in, it took 15-20 minutes to get ahold of someone and get a working code. The condo was as described and beautiful. You can’t beat the view. We had to call the second day to get a tub unclogged and put the patio door back on track. When opening the dishwasher the entire thing would pull forward. Need to be secured. We had to call to get a working key to the trash shute. The King bed’s slats moved while sleeping. We just put them back. The chairs on the balcony was covered in dirt and sand so we didn’t sit in them. Overall, we would stay there again.

This was a perfect size. Updated and clean! When we go back to Myrtle Beach this is the place to stay.

Great Stay

This was a nice place and was exactly as described. We had a party of 8, 6 adults and 2 kids. Everyon had there own bedroom and bathroom which was nice. The parking garage is a little tight for SUV parking. Most of the passengers had to get out before we parked because it was so tight. All in all it was a good vacation. We would stay there again in the future.

Great layout for a family vacation!

The condo was large and well spaced so everyone had their own space. Property was well maintained and very clean. Management was very responsive both via text and onsite. Loved that there were no stairs involved getting to the beach and a ramp to get to the outside pool. Pantry was a good size to hold everything and bathrooms were spacious. Parking is tight. Most spots have at least one side that is next to a concrete wall or other barrier, so if you are driving an SUV- especially a large one,- you’ll have to let people out before you park the car. Lots to do and several places to eat within walking distance. Great place and we’d stay again! Only complaint is that the location is close to the airport so there were constantly helicopters and planes flying over that were loud.

Family celebration

This was a beautiful condo and the view was breathtaking. The only problem we had was the smoke detectors were old and went off one night from 11 pm to 1 AM. This was very upsetting knowing that the detectors had not been updated and we were at risk. When we contacted the emergency number given to us, it was an answering service. We did not hear back until 8 hours later. We did enjoy a beautiful family vacation at this condo. The whole building was kept immaculate.

Would stay again

The condo was very nice. We had a problem with mold in one of the bedrooms, but a technician provided assistance with a solution. Other than that, everything was nice. I would recommend new bedding and better towels.

Beautiful View

Beautiful condo and location. Everything was exactly as described on the website. The beds were extremely hard, so we had to purchase memory foam mattress toppers ... and since we were flying, left them there for the next guests to enjoy! Parking in the attached parking garage is EXTREMELY tight. Super small spaces and tight corners. We had to back out of our spot in order to let the passenger side people get in. The top floor was being painted, so parking was overflowing. Luckily we only had one vehicle. People who had two were really struggling to find the “visitor” spot for their second car. The outside pool was closed due to the building being power washed, but the inside pool, lazy river and hot tub were nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, nicely decorated, great location, perfect view, but not quite handicapped accessible

Overall the property was great. Selecting a handicapped accessible property was important for the group I was traveling with. While the walk in shower was perfect, all is the toilets were really low. Ended up having to make a mad dash to buy a toilet seat to resolve the issue. Otherwise: it was perfect!

Very nice.

Everything was clean, very roomy, and exactly as described. Couldnt of asked for a better place to stay. The only issues we had was parking is very tight. If you want to go to the beach after 10 you have to go completely around the buildings to a public access because they lock up the pool area that you go through normally.

Nice, but slightly disappointed

We enjoyed the views, the Size of the unit, and the town for sure; however, the unit had several issues. One restroom could not get any hot water in the shower, another had a leaky/loose faucet so it dripped unless you forced the nozzle off almost making it seem to break. We had to provide our own paper products....we’ve never stayed at a condo where we had to provide toilet paper....seems a little ridiculous. Another bedroom had issues with the lighting...you couldn’t use the ceiling fan unless you had the light on. A bathroom sink would not drain so we had to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the kitchen or another bathroom. The parking instructions and garage itself were not great, especially when we had a large SUV that wouldn’t allow us to exit the vehicle unless we backed up out of the spot. They were painting the garage one day and we had paint and supplies in our parking spot and couldn’t find anyone to move the stuff so we were forced to do so that we could park. You are not even able to go to the beach unless you climb through the bushes when it is early to watch the sunrise or to go shelling at night. The gate and door to the pool area (the only way to get to the beach on the propert) would only open from 9am-10pm. There is not an easy way to get out there which was disappointing since we wanted to take in the views as much as possible from the beach. There was only one working elevator almost the entire week were there. Our vacation was great but we wanted to make you aware of the issues we had with the unit and probably would find something/somewhere different to stay in the future

Great place to stay!

Would highly recommend this place to stay! Main complaint was the very compact parking in the parking garage! Room was clean and was not overly crowded. Would definitely stay there again
