This well-appointed cabin is tucked into a beautiful wooded area with solitude and privacy as your neighbor. The serenity doesn’t affect your travel ease; this cabin sits a mere ¼ mile from Highway 20 so you can get started on your vacation adventures. Whether you seek fishing, snowmobiling/atv riding, boating, skiing, hiking, hunting or just enjoying the great outdoors and mountain views on your vacation, Anderson Meadows is ideal for your home base!
From the moment you arrive at Anderson Meadows you will feel at home. There is no detail that has been overlooked in this roomy cabin – greeted with stunning etched glass doors you will enter and discover the open floor plan with a large living room and dining area with a propane fireplace. The exquisite kitchen will have even the most demanding chef savoring the ample space – double ovens, a large refrigerator and glass top stove are just a few of the amenities that await. Anderson Meadows has six bedrooms and will easily sleep 14 guests. The main floor has 2 bedrooms and a spacious master suite. There are two additional bedrooms in the daylight basement. The third floor is complete with a king size bed and seating; this area will have you starting your day with a remarkable mountain view that just might make you decide to stay in for the day. All bedding is provided with extra pillows and blankets. There are three full bathrooms and a half bath with linens provided. Anderson Meadows has three spacious floors of living space. The daylight basement has an amazing family room to provide hours of entertainment, play games, watch television or curl up with a good book next to the propane fireplace. This great room will welcome everyone to relax on their vacation and enjoy the camaraderie.
If it is the outdoors you seek – Anderson Meadows will not disappoint. There are 2 covered decks for you to sit and enjoy the brisk mountain air and the occasional moose or deer that wanders through. The outdoor fire pit is sure to delight with plenty of space for everyone to gather and enjoy the evening fire, this great area is even handicap accessible for all our guests to enjoy. Grill a steak on the barbeque and no matter what Mother Nature provides – rain or shine can have you enjoying your meal on the deck. If all of the traveling and sight-seeing has your muscles tight and sore – relax in the covered hot tub and watch the evening stars. Anderson Meadows has a trail system that starts right at the driveway, bring your ATV’s, bikes or hike and explore the beauty that only the mountains can provide.
Anderson Meadows welcomes all of our guests and has the luxury of being handicap accessible with an elevator available upon request (additional fees apply). This allows our guests confined to a wheelchair or unable to maneuver stairs to enjoy both the basement area and main floor. Pets are also welcome upon approval (additional fees will apply).
Cell phones work well in this area (please note that some carriers don’t have the necessary coverage in this area to provide excellent service.) Anderson Meadows is equipped with WIFI and Dish Network.
Anderson Meadows is open year around and is conveniently located in a central location. Your vacation home base is within minutes of some of the areas’ best activities. Record breaking fishing is available in every direction – enjoy fly fishing on Henry’s Fork of the Snake or the Madison or drop your line in the famous Henry’s Lake, each just minutes from the cabin. Enjoy the beauty of Mesa Falls, Johnny Sacks Cabin or feed the fish at Big Springs just a few miles from the cabin. There is a live dinner theater at Mack’s Inn Playhouse. Enjoy float trips down the river, hiking trails, horseback riding or a round of golf at the Island Park Village. Take the time to hike Harriman State Park and enjoy natures wonders. Snowmobile and atv riders, you can leave right from the cabin and enjoy miles of exploration on an elaborate trail system. This area is a snowmobilers paradise, there is something for every riding level. Spring and summer are beautiful. This area is notorious for its wildlife with moose and deer frequenting the area. You might be even be lucky enough to spot the occasional willy fox. What is for sure is the beauty and peacefulness of the area is certainly the definition of Heaven on Earth.
Anderson Meadows is a NON SMOKING cabin. We are under county ordinances for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health; we ask that you stay within capacity limits, read the burn ordinance and above all else please be neighborly. No fireworks are allowed at any time.
