The house was fantastic! The kids enjoyed the games and the adults loved the house. Great separation of space for all. Easy in and out of Yellowstone. Beds were very comfortable. The view of Satelle was a nice surprise!

Our entire family of kids, kids-in-law and grandkids (5) were very excited to travel together to spend a week in Yellowstone National Park and this cabin met all our needs! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The grandchildren especially loved the foosball and pool tables-lots of fun tournaments in the evening! The horseshoe pits definitely got a workout too. The bunkrooms were great too! The main living area with the large picture windows facing Sawtelle mountain provided a wonderful place for the whole family to have an evening meal and join in some crazy card games. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. We left some ice for the next group of guests and hope that ice maker is prepared soon. There was lots of extra supplies available-paper towels, dish washing detergents, etc. We donated some additional supplies that might be useful to the next guests-ie Bear Spray! Perhaps the most impressive aspect was the beautiful views from the large windows and the sense of quiet serenity as we truly enjoyed being away from the busyness of typical resort areas. What a beautiful place. Thanks for making a special place for families who want to make lifelong memories.

The property was beautiful inside and the views from the huge windows were spectacular. Everyone in our party was very pleased with the accommodations and the property is well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again!

Family Yellowstone Trip

We had a great time at the cabin! We went into Yellowstone every day and the cabins location worked out excellent. The cabin has great mountain views and sunsets were awesome!

We were thrilled with our stay here. The cabin was clean, accomodating in every way. It is fully stocked with every thing you need, which is rare! You can tell that it is taken care of by the home owner itself and not a property management company. You felt at home! The location was fantastic for all things delightful in Island Park and West Yellowstone. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back.

Wonderful Yellowstone trip with family!

This home is fantastic! Absolutely gorgeous and spacious and has every amenity one could need. Our group of 12 loved this home, it was very comfortable and the proximity to Yellowstone was great. Beautiful setting and views as well. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

Stunning cabin! My entire family enjoyed staying here. The teens loved the theater room. The adults gathered in the main living space and enjoyed each other’s company. Having 2 refrigerators was very convenient. Everything we needed was provided. Close proximity to West Yellowstone for shopping and easy entry to the park. We had a wonderful vacation!

Yellowstone visit

We visited Yellowstone (15 persons) for one week. This home is perfect for a family week. Cozy, large, it has all you need, and is only 20 minutes from West Yellowstone entrance. The Pickering family are wonderful hosts. We loved this house.

This was a beautiful cabin. We had 14 family members and there was plenty of room to spread out. It was located near most anything you want to do in IP. We really enjoyed watching the Olympics in the theater room! That was a bonus!

We loved staying at this property! It was absolutely perfect for our group. The home was very clean, well stocked with everything you need for your stay and was beautifully decorated. A true mountain home. Everyone in our group couldn’t stop talking about how awesome the house was. Brandi was great to work with and VERY responsive to any request we had! We will definitely stay here again!!

Great Place Close to West Yellowstone

We had a great time staying here! The drive to the West entrance of Yellowstone is about 20 minutes away which is convenient. It was 2 hours from Bozeman airport. The theater projector wasn't working when we arrived but Brandi came to the rescue pretty quickly. Island Park, Idaho is not a happening town and there are not a lot of restaurants but it served our two families well.

Everything it appeared to be!

We had a great stay with our party of 9! Cabin was very well stocked, clean and exactly as advertised. Theater room was a great extra. Jetted tubs were wonderful after a long day of driving. Distance to park entrance was good and location/view was exactly what we were wanting. Would definitely stay here again but i would bring grippy socks for the stairs since you must leave your shoes at the door.

Beautiful home with spectacular views!

Family of 15 spending a week snowmobiling in Island Park. The trail is right behind the home. Couldn't get any easier! The home is cozy and comfortable for everyone. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Look forward to coming back during the summer months and renting side by sides. I highly recommend renting Pickering Cabin.

fabulous family reunion cabin

We had fourteen people stay at the cabin-10 adults, 4 kids ages 7 - 15. The accommodations were wonderful. Three bedrooms had attached bathrooms, with the basement bedrooms sharing a bath. The kitchen was large & well equipped with the outdoor grill and two refrigerators & ovens coming in very handy! There was plenty to do there - play billards, watch a movie in the theater, sit around & chat or check out the scenery from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Would go back in an instant. We all loved it!

This is an absolutely wonderful home. The home is actually much larger than the pictures demonstrate. We have rented several homes throughout the country in the past and I can say this is by far the cleanest home we have every rented. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with appliances, dishes and basics such as spices. The location is really fun. There is a grocery store that has a fairly good assortment less than 5 minutes from the house and there are several restaurants and bars near by. Brandi was great to work with, we did not need much during the visit but when something was needed she was very quick to respond. The power went out in the area randomly one night and within 15 minutes she was pinging me to let me know and see if we needed anything. Just top notch service!Last, if you stay in this home take the 30 minute drive to the top of Sawtelle Mountain, views are incredible!
