Cleanliness Issues

We've stayed in other units at this resort before and appreciate the location and amenities. One of the best things I can say about this unit is that the kitchen is well stocked (except pot holders). Floors were dirty when we got there, furniture was uncomfortable, and pillows were lumpy but flat (if that's even possible). My biggest concern was the bathroom. The baseboards and bottom of the door had obvious signs of water damage that had been covered up with some paint and caulk, potentially hiding mold, which is a health hazard. For people with mold allergies, this could make for a miserable vacation. Unfortunately, until the cleaning improves and the bathroom issues are corrected, I can't recommend this unit.

Great little spot!

We had a lovely stay! Everything was clean and easy to navigate. Nice to take a quick 1min walk to the inner coastaf to watch the sunrise and dolphin. Easy walk to restaurants, putt putt and the beach. Great location

Nice place near beach

Great condo, close to beach and pool. Kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is the bed was not comfortable and the sheets felt old and scratchy.

Great location

Great location barely 2-3min walking to the beach. The apartment is in good condition with pretty much everything you’d need. The building and the apartment is older than how it looks in the pictures, but overall it’s a good choice if you’re looking to get a few days at the nice beaches of Indian Shores.

Love the Location

Super close to the beach which is super convenient. The beach was quiet and perfect. The sunrise is beautiful where the property is. There’s lot to do to stay busy.

Fantastic getaway

This is our second stay at the Barefoot and again was a great time. Everyone is extremely nice and property manager was great with all our questions. Condo was very clean and had all the necessities. We will stay again.

Beach Accessible Fun

Our stay was pleasant. I was wanting to stay on the beach but this property was a short 5 minute walk across to the beach. There were games and beach toys. The property is well kept. I would recommend it to friends.

Great unit steps to the beach

Clean & spacious unit just steps to the beach. Freshly furnished it seems and easy to check in and out. Would stay again!

Location. Location. Location

Pros- *Location. Very easy access to Beach, close to everything you could need like restaurants & putt putt. Unit is close to the pool yet removed from noise. * unit provided everything we needed and then some. (More towels would have been nice) * unit had a great layout for our family of 4. LOVED having the back patio. Cons- *Could have been cleaned better. Luckily I always bring my own sheets, comforter & pillows. The pull down bed had a cover on it that was very dirty and the headboard area was dirty. I’m very picky, so overall.. most people would probably be fine with it. I will say I was impressed with how clean the appliances were. * we had an issue with the fridge keeping food cold. Unfortunately we had precooked and froze our dinners.. the freezer wasn’t working and everything thawed. Even our cheese and butter In the fridge melted. This was a huge inconvenience for us only because we had prepared all of our food ahead of time. The host was quick to respond to my complaint and even scheduled for a new fridge to be delivered. Unfortunately it was too late for our food. We arrived on a Monday and the fridge was delivered on Wednesday. We left Thursday. She did try her best I believe. Although I didn’t ask.. I thought it would have been nice if we were reimbursed in some way. Would I drive 9hrs to stay here again?...probably not. But you should definitely give it a shot if you want to stay in the area.

Great condo complex-not a highrise with great pool

This is our second time to stay at Barefoot Beach Resort. We loved the pool and the easy access to the beach. My husband enjoyed the fishing dock at the back of the complex. Salt Rock Grill is a great restaurant(right next door) but you will need reservations.
