Vår 1700 kvm / ft öppna planlösning hemma är bara några minuter från över 100 världsklass golfbanor inklusive La Quinta Country Club och PGA West, båda kurser värd den årliga Humana Challenge. Old Town La Quinta med sina många affärer och restauranger ligger också bara några minuter bort. Våra milda vintrar gör oss till ett populärt resmål för tiotusentals "snowbirds", som reser hit från hela USA, Kanada och många andra länder för att njuta av golf, tennis och polo, simning, vandring, lyxiga spa-behandlingar, bra matsal och unik shopping. Med en genomsnittlig nedgång på 3 tum är Coachelladalen ett "Fun In The Sun" -mål för tusentals människor från hela världen.

Underbar utsikt över bergen "Casa Que Encanta", vårt hem ligger i La Quinta Cove. Speciellt beläget på toppen av "Cove" och bara 3 hus från vandringslederna, "Casa Que Encanta", är den perfekta tillflyktsorten för dem som söker solsken, lugn och ro i södra Kalifornien öknen. De enda ljuden som du kommer att höra under dagen är fåglar som kvittrar och duvor som cooing. Kolibrier är ganska många och lockas till några av de vackra blommorna i vår öken anlagda gård. Koppla av nära vår privata pool och läs en bra bok eller gå på vandring eller cykla på de många närliggande spåren. Nätter i öknen är magiska med en vacker, tydlig utsikt över Melkvägsgalaxen, ohindrad av stadsljus.

Very comfortable for our 49 day stay. Well equipped so just bring your clothes and food. Master suite was roomy and private. Good response and communications with host. Would recommend and will return.

Sandra had her home ready for us when we arrived. She made sure the tanks (2) for the grill were full. When we had any questions or concerns, she replied promptly. This was greatly appreciated. Perfect Location! Jeanette

Une maison qui a besoin d’amour

Si vous avez envie d’être dans un quartier résidentiel très tranquille loin de toute commodité et près d’un sentier de randonnée, c’est parfait. De façon générale la maison, quoique spacieuse, a besoin d’amour. Il est surprenant de retrouver autant de tapis dans une maison en 2019. Les panneaux d’armoire en bois de la cuisine sont poisseux. Les fenêtres ne sont pas lavées. C’est très long avant d’avoir de l’eau chaude dans la douche et pour tous les robinets. Il y a une très bonne quantité de serviettes et linge de maison ainsi que les fournitures de base : papier de toilette, essuie-tout, savon à lave-vaisselle et à vaisselle. À notre arrivée la sécheuse était remplie de serviettes pas tout à fait sèches. La piscine n’est pas très propre ( tache de couleur rouille au fond) par contre la température de l’eau était correcte. Ameublement extérieur de piètre qualité. Les électroménagers sont récents ( sauf le lave-vaisselle). Le wifi est très performant. Le service de télévision n’offre pas un grand choix de postes. Nous n’avons pas pu voir à la télé les match de tennis du fabuleux tournoi d’Indian Wells. Nous y sommes allés en direct pour une journée et nous espérions voir les autres parties à la télévision. Nous avons loué plusieurs maisons/appartements via VRBO/ Home Away et d’autres sites aux USA et en Europe ce qui nous permet de dire en conclusion que nous ne recommanderions pas cette maison. Ce n’est pas une expérience désastreuse mais il y a mieux. Tous les endroits que nous avons loués incluaient un minimum d’informations pertinentes sur les commodités à connaître dans la région ( épicerie, pharmacie, restaurants et des informations touristiques de base), ce qui n’était pas le cas ici.

Beautiful quiet setting next to the desert

We loved the location of the home so close to the desert - went for walks every day and I rode my mountain bike on some spectacular trails most days. Sandra was very responsive and took care of a couple of minor issues with the pool right away - our 2 grandkids and their dad were in the pool for hours on each of the 3 days they were with us! The master bedroom was huge - really enjoyed the space. Most days were cool but we enjoyed grilling in the nice and quiet back yard (Weber bbq!) .

Excellent and Cozy

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The location is great and very close to desert trail heads. Neighbourhood felt very safe. 10 minute drive to Trader Joe’s and other shops. House is spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area, lovely and big master bedroom with big closet and en suite bathroom. Washer and drier. Pool area and patio is beautiful. We spent a lot of time just hanging out there. Communication with Sandra, the host, was excellent. She was very quick to handle questions. We would highly recommend this place and may be back again! Thank you Sandra!

Nice place, great location , but pool not heated when we arrived

We didnt get to use the pool till the last night of our stay because it wasnt heated when we arrived. That was part of why we rented it. Someone started it the next day but it wasnt warm enough to use until our last night. Otherwise it's great location and the place is good for families.

Great location for a golf trip. Courses only minutes away from the house.

Lovely home!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The home was spacious, light and the pool was amazing. The king sized bed was very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. When the pool heater stopped working a couple of days into our stay, the owner was quick to respond and had it fixed as quickly as possible. We also loved the fact the home was a block away from a great hiking trail.

The property was Satisfactory

The property worked for our purposes. The only issue was cleanliness in the outside patio area & pool which was resolved when brought to the attention of the owner. Will probably look for a different property next year as our group really enjoys having a heated pool & I understand these are not available in La Quinta. Thank you.

3.5 star accommodation: Clean, quiet neighborhood, adjacent to desert hiking, spartan backyard

The house was clean (except for the windows) and spacious. The kitchen was reasonably well equiped (there was no teflon frying pan or electric kettle) and everything worked properly. The beds were comfortable. The living room furniture was comfortable but the dining room chairs were not (the seats gave no support). The Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV cable package was very limited. There was no radio, nor a CD or DVD player. There was also no handbook of instructions for renters to consult. There is very little traffic in the neighborhood and noise from neighbours was acceptable (people talking in their backyard but no loud music). Our big disappointment was that the pool was not heated, and because the weather was cool we were never able to use it. The backyard is mostly concrete pad around the pool and surrounded by a cement block wall and was not inviting. The BBQ worked well. The house is less than a 5 minute walk from the trailhead to a network of hiking trails in the desert, and less than a 10 minute walk away there is the start to a very long paved trail along a spillway along the edge of the mountains. The owner always responded very quickly to our emails and promptly refunded our damage deposit. If the pool had been heated we would rate this rental a solid 4 star and seriously consider renting it again.

Great home in a great location

5 of us stayed here for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this home. The house was super clean and laid out in a way so that everyone was able to have their own space. The pool area was perfect and was just enough for the 5 of us. The location was great as well as it is just a 5 to 10 minute drive to grocery, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed staying here and recommend it to anyone coming to the La Quinta area.

Charming and welcoming Casa que Encanta

If you are looking for a three bedroom, spotlessly clean, charming house on a pleasant quiet street in the area of La Quinta, Casa que Encanta is the place. It is conveniently situated in a quiet neighborhood with homes of similar architectural style. There are numerous trails around the corner to go hiking or biking and is a short drive to restaurants and groceries stores. This home is charming and welcoming. You can tell the owner has taken extra care to have you feel like you are being pampered while you are away from home. The welcome basket with coffee, tea and cookies was a very kind gift and the little touches and special attention were so appreciated. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you could ever need, plus great appliances and a very convenient kitchen island. All the amenities listed at VRBO were there and very well maintained. The living room is bright and airy, and the three bedrooms are cozy and inviting. Rear yard has a nice pool, and BBQ with plenty of chairs and space to lounge around the pool in a serene quietness from the fenced in perimeter. Sandra, the owner was very responsive to our questions, wonderful experience all around. We highly recommend this property and would definitely go back!
