Sandpiper Cottage

Bienvenue à Sandpiper Cottage, une location de vacances à Pacific City où une vue spectaculaire sur le fleuve et l'océan vous attend depuis chaque chambre! Sandpiper Cottage se trouve à quelques minutes en voiture des plages, des dunes de sable et de toutes les aventures balnéaires de la côte centrale de l’Oregon. Descendez quelques escaliers pour atteindre la porte d'entrée et entrez dans votre maison loin de chez vous. Le salon principal du Sand Piper Cottage pr��sente un plan d'étage ouvert, du parquet et un mobilier confortable. Cette charmante maison de trois étages dispose de quatre chambres à coucher et de trois salles de bains et demie, offrant tout le confort et l’espace nécessaire pour un maximum de 10 personnes. Il y a deux chambres avec lits queen à l'étage, une suite principale avec un lit king à l'étage principal et une chambre avec quatre lits jumeaux en bas. Deux portes bébé et un lit de voyage sont disponibles pour votre utilisation si nécessaire. Les équipements spéciaux incluent une télévision grand écran avec câble, un lecteur DVD, une connexion Wi-Fi, une baignoire sur pattes, un barbecue au gaz et un poêle à bois.

Our girl scout troop chose this property for their end of year trip. We were very comfortable and the listing is very accurate. Plenty of room, clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay!

Family beach trip

We had a peaceful stay at the house. One of the rooms didn’t have electricity when we arrived (still don’t know how/why) but the host was responsive and got the lights back on pretty quickly. Great river and ocean views from different rooms, nice balcony and a comfortable kitchen for cooking family dinners.

Greatest view ever

Great place to stay for a couple of days. The view was spectacular and the surrounding sites fun and interesting. House was updated and nice. It had a few small cob webs inside which need attention, but great place to stay. Lots of cob webs outside that need to be addressed. Overall I would stay again.

Family Vacation

Great view off the deck. Great for 10 people. Furniture is showing a lot of wear. A lot of cobwebs around light fixtures and ceiling. Would have been more comfortable if there were less stuff on the bookshelves.

Nice separation of space for big groups. The bedding was not clean or was stained which isnt appealing. Stove doesnt work well at all. Took hours to cook breakfast on the stove top because it doesnt heat hot enough. Pans are not good. You want people to start dish washer but, dont supply dish washer soap.

Beautiful but doesn't have a Hot Tub as advertised.

The place is beautiful - spacious living room with TV and games, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of restrooms, amazing views from the deck, plenty of beds and a convenient distance from all Pacific city has to offer. However, one of the main reasons I opted for this place was because of the presence of "Hot Tub" as listed in the advertisement page for the property. This place didn't have any. It only had a bath tub that could fit only 1 person at a time.

Beautiful View

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper Cottage has a beautiful view of the ocean from a very nice deck. The 3 levels worked very well for our extended family. We had a couple issues, the main one being the wi-fi went out midway through our stay and we couldn't find the router to try to reset it. I called Meredith Lodging but they were not able to help me. They tried to contact the owner but evidently didn't hear back from them because I never heard back from Meredith.

Lovely home!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very lovely! The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed. When the fog lifted the view was magnificent. There are a lot of stairs to deal with and parking was a bit of a challenge, but we had a wonderful visit. We were a little surprised to find the place hadn't been cleaned when we arrived at 4pm. After calling the PM company we were told they'd left us a message changing checkin to 6pm. We still unloaded our stuff and headed over to another family rental until late that night and it was nice and tidy when we returned.

Beach trip

Never got instructions how to get in .. i spend almost 2 hrs in the phone trying to get a hold of some one to help finally they said they couldn’t help it was almost 11:30pm i had to start calling hotels in the area but not a single room available i had a baby and elderly parents with me i had to drive back home and had to drive in the middle of the night in the middle of the forest with out phone service totally unacceptable very unprofessional of the host not to send information or not even answer phone calls …i want full refund plus a free night to go back and stay i had to cancel all my plans because we couldn’t stay

First time staying at Pacific City and we will definitely be back. We were very happy with the accommodations, the home was cozy and offered all the amenities we needed. Very comfortable with a gorgeous view.

What an amazing view and get away! The house was easy to find and very easy to access. The Property manager was easy to talk to and replied to questions professionally and quickly. My team and I really enjoyed the house as a whole. Great experience. Thank y’all.

Father’s Day Weekend Celebration

The view from the home was lovely, weather was perfect and we had plenty of space. The house has not been maintained with broken mini-blinds in the bedrooms, WiFi and TV not working on arrival. I spent way too much time securing WiFi access for the family and had to leave the beach and drive back to the house. He said all the blinds need to be replaced and managed to get one down that was broken in the master bathroom. The oven is really complicated to operate but we managed to figure it out. They need teflon cookware. We soaked and scrubbed pans because they were stainless steel and no brill-o pads. Not how I want to spend my beach time at the kitchen sink. The beach is lovely with public parking and restrooms available. We really had a good time but would not return to this home until they spent the time and money to properly maintain it.

There are a couple of things that would of enhanced our stay greatly and would motivated us to stay there again and often. We are cooks and if anyone else is, I would recommend they bring whatever pots & pans they need. The grill is bad shape and we needed to buy a brush to clean it as the brush there was truly gross. As mentioned in a previous review no one can use the top bunk of the bunk beds as the whole frame starts to collapse. One last thing, the deck chairs are cute but extremely uncomfortable, The deck has such an amazing view I would recommend more chairs and comfortable ones so as to really be able to enjoy that fantastic deck!!
