Sandy Feet- Meredith Lodging

Stylish, fun and modern, this one-bedroom apartment is perfect for one to four people looking for a sweet, convenient stay in Manzanita. Located below the main floor of a home but with its own private entrance and fenced yard, Sandy Feet is just two blocks from the beach for seven miles of ways to get your feet sandy. There is a footpath to the beach leading from the home! The pretty, updated interior of this home is loaded with thoughtful amenities to make your stay easy and delightful. The living room furnishings are comfortable and fun, and the large flat-screen HDTV/DVD/Blu-ray will keep you entertained along with a bonus room that contains a selection of books, games, puzzles, art supplies, and a foosball table. The bright, modern kitchen complete with a Keurig (K-cups not provided) makes meals a breeze and there’s an expandable table for dining. There is a beautiful queen bedroom updated with luxury linens and a spa-like bathroom across the hall. The custom bathroom has myrtle wood countertops and a multi-jet walk-in shower. After your walk to the beach, you can rinse off those sandy feet in a semi-enclosed outdoor shower and enjoy the newly added firepit. You’ll be happy to retreat to this charming haven after a day hiking Neahkahnie Mountain or exploring the North Oregon Coast. Grab a friend and see!

As a fellow host, I stayed here for a week while my home was being painted. As a basic home base, the property was fine and served its purpose.That said, the bed and couch were both quite uncomfortable, which made a longer stay challenging. Additionally, for a week-long stay, the amount of provided supplies was very minimal — including only two laundry detergent pods, two dishwasher pods, and one very small bar of soap intended for the kitchen, bathroom, and shower. This made it difficult to fully follow checkout instructions that required starting laundry and the dishwasher.With more comfortable furniture and better stocking of essentials for longer stays, this could be a much improved experience.

Thank you for staying with us and for the helpful feedback. We do only supply a starter amount of soap for our renters and ask that they purchase more, should that be necessary. The furniture is in strong shape, but we appreciate you letting us know it wasn't comfortable for you and we will absolutely take your feedback seriously when it does come time to replace it. We absolutely loved the location and the apartment was perfect for our little family of three plus our small dog LuLu. We walked to the beach every day and made friends with other families staying nearby. It was great. Proximity to town was easy. The only critique we have is that there were ants so we had to adapt to protect our food which meant everything went into the fridge/freezer. Thank you!

We felt right at home here. The location is absolutely beautiful. The views are unlike any other. The yard with a view was a huge plus. We were able to barbecue and have a beer while watching the waves out in the distance. Our dogs loved the yard and the interior was very warm and inviting. Slept comfortably and felt relaxing.

Peaceful retreat close to the beach

This place was perfect for what we needed. My boyfriend, our dog, and I stayed for Memorial Day Weekend and loved being so close to the beach, in a safe and quiet part of town. Would stay again.

Fantastic vacation

We had an amazing time staying here. The house suited our needs perfectly, and was very cozy. The short walk to the beach was very convenient, and we watched the sunset from there every night.

Very comfortable stay

Comfortable bed, nice shower, generally supplied well. Just a quick walk to the beach, and a totally fenced yard with fire pit to enjoy. Quiet and peaceful and relaxing!

Loved Our Stay

This was the perfect getaway spot! I could not have been happier with the home and it's proximity to the beach and downtown Manzanita. I really appreciate the responsiveness from the property management as well.

Well-appointed, peaceful unit!

Loved everything about this place. Modern amenities, comfortable bed, beautiful shower, and lots of light but not too much in the bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice little getaway

The place had a nice yard for our dog and was the perfect size for the two of us. Very short walk to the beach on a trail. Very clean as well.

This place is exactly what we were looking for, a sweet, safe little home to enjoy the coast in. The property is perfect for dog owners and super close to the beach! Very relaxing and cozy. Would definitely book here again!
