Comfy bungalow - HEATED POOL!! pets ok

Kenwood Cottage is right near Princess Place Drive on a quiet street of sidewalks, kids, dogs, neighbors. You can rest on the porch swing and say hi! There are two bedrooms - one Queen and one Double - as well as two baths - one just a bathtub - the other a walk-in shower. Gas logs work and will keep you cozy this winter.... The saltwater pool will keep you cool come summer and is heated for lovely fall and spring swim days. The yard is fully fenced. We have basic cable and wifi. Downtown is 5 minutes by car, we are very near the studio, and 15 minutes away from Wrightsville Beach. Pets and extended stays are considered.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Absolutely loved this little cottage with a private pool! The place is cute and adorable. Highly recommend it for any romantic get aways. Super convenient location. Hope to book it again in the future.

This was our second time staying at this property and had an amazing time. The pool is fantastic, was about 86-89 all week. Location was perfect. Had everything we needed. Will be returning again next summer for sure!

The property was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard and pool. The house is close to the riverwalk and beaches that we enjoyed as well. Also the tour of the navy ship. The neighborhood is very quiet

Love the charm of this old house. It was very comfy and had everything we needed. The pool wasn’t heated, just a solar blanket. Beautiful pool area for relaxing.

Upon arrival the front door was standing wide open. I contacted Rachel and she was very responsive. Mike did text Sunday about 15 minutes prior to arrival to clean the pool. He also came unannounced Tuesday morning and again Wednesday morning (check out was 10am Wednesday, he pulled up about 8:30am). Not sure why he would do that, it made my kids feel uncomfortable. He was nice enough, but people don’t rent individual homes to have the owners randomly show up when there is no reason for a visit. After using VRBO for years this is the first time I’ve felt rushed or unwelcome at a private residence.

The house did not look like the pictures, overgrown, kitchen very old, smelly, old furniture. A pipe began running water by the back porch after we arrived. Property manager had to come and cut the water off and the porch and backyard flooded. We left immediately. We did receive a full refund.

There were a few small glitches in the beginning but were promptly addressed. Cons: only 1 shower and it is off the pool area so it does not feel very private. Owner does not give much heads up before coming to care for pool. Pro: pool and hot tub were nice. This is an old home so no dishwasher. We were there 6 weeks and had to buy some ant traps at the end. It is not within walking distance to downtown. Plenty off cleaning supplies and cooking utensils. Was very clean. Is cozy

Amazing Vacation!!!

My family had an amazing stay at this house. It was the perfect size for our family of 3 plus the pool was amazing, clean and beautiful!!! Couldn’t ask for a better place. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Wilmington.

Pleasant and Peaceful

This is a Sweet Bungalow with all the amenities you need on a daily basis.We booked it mainly because I love to swim! The heated pool was a Heavenly Oasis!
