We love this place and location and plan on making it our regular stop on our trips to Edmond. It’s located in a perfect location and has everything you would need. The owners are awesome and worked with us as we were relocating. Highly recommend!
I was visiting with cousins so I didn’t enjoy sitting in the gardens as much as I would have liked. The cozy bedroom and apartment was perfect for me! I would stay there again!
The cottage and main home are set back into the trees. The landscape is lush and green with a beautiful koi pond. The owners, Debbie and Mark are very friendly and made me feel at home. It was such a relaxing and peaceful place to stay. As a friend said, “ This place is a hidden secret.”
Debbie has always been a wonderful host and her host dog, Pinky, is adorable. Pinky loves to join me for coffee on the deck. This was my second stay in this awesome cottage. The bed is so comfortable. I slept great and the area is very quiet. It’s like visiting an old friend. Thank you Debbie for another wonderful stay.
While you were just outside of city limits, you felt like you were in the middle of the country. You couldn't even hear city traffic! The property was beautifully landscaped, with a great history. There were also excellent restaurant choices nearby, if you didn't want to take advantage of the cute little kitchen in the cabin.
When it asks “accuracy if online listing” I want to give it a 10 star. This place is the best kept secret. I’ve told my husband numerous times how legit this place is and that it needs to be our go to for when we want a weekend “away”. We’re local to Edmond - I was looking for something low key and chill to celebrate my birthday during Covid. Boy did I find the best place. Debbie and Mark are incredible hosts, so generous, friendly and welcoming. Their property is straight out of a dream, or a book like the Secret Garden. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful and serene. As you can see, I could go on and on and on. I spent some great down time, staycation-ish time here. It’s the best of Both worlds. feels like you’re out of town but right in town to do anything you want. I LOVE this place with my whole heart and will absolutely be back.
The Room was very comfortable and quiet. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. Looking forward to my next visit. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.
Rarely do you get to stay at a place like this! Historic, quaint, and cozy, it's perfect for those seeking respite and solitude. It's very small with not much more than about 6 x 8 of open floor space, but a comfy bed nook, a kitchen counter with two bar stools, a loveseat, one chair, plus all the kitchen basics. There's a lovely deck with seating, too. The grounds have lots of gardens with benches and a koi pond. Communication with the owners was stellar. If I travel to OKC I hope to stay there again.
The guest host met me when I arrived and was so very nice and informative about the area.
Highly, highly....did I mention highly recommend staying here.
The grounds and the area is well maintained and beautiful.
Definitely stay here for an amazing get-away!
I chose this place as my husband has built and lived in 2 log homes in earlier chapters of his life. He relayed to me the setting and interior were so comfortable and nicely appointed. The host Debbie was incredibly kind, understanding and helpful when we twice made changes to the dates of our stay. I ended up not being able to make the trip and was so sorry to miss the incredible landscaping. Michael said had I been there he would have loved just sitting out and enjoying it as it was remarkable. All in all an oasis in the city.
This place is a gem! The hosts were beyond lovely and the guest house was beautiful with everything I needed. The property is so beautiful with an interesting history. I spent time outside enjoying the Zen gardens and beautiful treed porch. Will definitely return when I need a mini getaway.
My wife and I had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the breath taking landscaping. The guest house was so cozy and comfortable that we felt at home. Debra and her husband made us feel at home and were really kind to both of us. I’ll definitely stay again!
