2bdr cottage available for rent. It is located in the heart of Matunuck, South Kingstown, RI.
The cottage has been completed remodeled, tile throughout, new kitchen cabinets, granite counter top and is completely furnished. Enclosed front porch and rear deck with water views. Linens, towels, pots, pans everything included to make your stay enjoyable. Recently added outdoor shower.

It is walking distance to South Kingstown Town Beach (beach pass included for SK town beach) ,East Matunuck Beach, Theatre By The Sea, local grocery store, Carpenters fresh fruit & vegetable stand, Ocean Mist, The Pub, Matunuck Pizza, St Romuald church, deep hole fishing and surfing and our local ice cream stand. Available nightly off summer weeks.

Can also be rented with 3bdr (listing HA 7823641) if weeks available . Great for 2 families. Feel free to email me, top right hand corner of aerial.

The Beach Cottage was wonderful. Very clean with everything we needed. Fantastic location. It's within walking distance of a few bars and a restaurant. We were able to walk to dinner after a long drive. Bob was a fantastic host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway!!

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at the cottage with near perfect weather and great accommodations! The cottage was just the right size for our family of four, everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were super friendly and available if needed. We hope to come back next year for another stay!

This cottage was incredible! It was clean, check-in was easy, it has everything you need inside of it, and it is steps away from awesome bars, restaurants and the beach. If we come back to Rhode Island we will definitely stay here again. Bob made everything easy and was very communicative. We would give it 10 stars if we could! Thank you for making our stay so great!

Absolutely beautiful location!

We are beyond happy with the location, cleanliness, and ease of the booking. The owner was very friendly and it felt like a home away from home. We look forward to booking again in the future!

Beach Stay

Basic accommodation in a fantastic location. Stroll to the beach and couple bars / restaurants / music bar. Great spot for a few days to chill and explore the area

Great house

We had a great stay at this beach house! Everything was clean and it was a great location. Thr house was perfect for our family of four including our two toddlers.

Amazing beach cottage

Immaculate, comfortable, everything you need. Lovely sunny back deck. Very responsive host! Ask for something, it would appear on porch like magic. Definitely coming back.

Stunning and Serene

Immaculate cottage with all the amenities !! Bob even provided us with a lobster pot and crackers for the claws. We loved the back deck and outside shower. Great location for bike riding, kayaking and beaching. A gem we would love to return to.

To much communication/interaction with owners

First I want to emphasize that Bob and his wife seemed very nice. My issue was they were on and off the property our entire stay. They own the rental next door and live in the house next to that one. We would hear something outside and it would be Bob either at the storage shed, garage or walking through the yard. We were sitting on the deck as his wife brought things to the garage to store. Again, very nice but totally inappropriate. The furniture in the house was pretty awful other than the kitchen table. Nothing matched and everything was uncomfortable. Advertised as two bedroom but neither bedroom had a closet. Also advertised as totally renovated but the old bead board in the bedrooms and on the ceilings should be replaced. The bedsheets were 100% polyester 😳. So uncomfortable, particularly in the heat. Air b&b’s we have rented in the past have at least sample size soaps, shampoos & conditions this one did not. Luckily we brought some. The shower was extremely small (. I am 5’ and weigh 108 lbs). Again, Bob and his wife were nice. They let us leave our car in the driveway after checkout so we could walk to get breakfast . Very nice people who, with some changes, could make this a great place to stay.

Matunuck Beach Cottage

Recently updated, very clean cottage. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice deck in the back with water views, and covered front porch. Very short walking distance to the Pub and Ocean Mist, which seem to be very popular night spots--even in October. We found the beds and the couch in the cottage pretty uncomfortable--a deal breaker for us, but seems to be ok for other folks? As you arrive in the neighborhood you will pass by "Carpenter's Beach Meadow," a large trailer park full of well-maintained mobile homes and mini cottages.

The cottage was well stocked and well maintained. Nice yard. Even a clothesline for wet towels and suits! Bob and Maria are wonderful and helpful.

Quick, delightful stay

Though our stay was fast and furious we enjoyed our weekend in this recently updated little cottage by the beach. The beds are comfortable, the shower was decent and the place was clean with all the amenities needed in the kitchen. A short drive from URI, good restaurants in the surrounding area and right near the beaches, there is no room for complaint. Perhaps will return for URI family weekend again next year.

Great spot.

We had a wonderful time and the location of the cottage could not have been better. Bob and his wife Maria were welcoming. If I had a suggestion for improvement it would be the mattress on the full size bed.

Great location

This was a new town for us to stay in and it was a great location! The house was clean and well stocked with supplies. Bob and his family are wonderful, very helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!

Two fabulous weeks!

Everything about the house and neighborhood are ideal for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. But still close to the beach and restaurants that are within walking distance. And plenty of other options just a short drive away. Great house and location.

Quiet getaway

We loved staying there. It was quiet, close to beaches, walkable, easy to explore other parts of rhode island. The home was clean and well appointed with all the things you need for your stay. We would go back again.

Relax, enjoy, decompress, just breathe.

The cottage was super clean. Loved the water views from the deck and the ocean breeze. The hosts Bob and Maria could not have been nicer. We were able to launch our small Boston Whaler to navigate through inter coastal ponds and waterways, clamming was fun and rewarding, the surrounding beaches are beautiful and relaxing to top it off we had great weather, Because at the beach, “The Beach makes it’s own weather” Definitely come back to this location for years to come, what a gem!!!
