Quiet getaway on 3.5 acres with a hot tub

Escape to the hill country for some special vacation time with your loved ones.

Located on 3 1/2 acres, this charming 3 Bedroom/2 Bath manufactured home sits on a quiet country road just minutes from beautiful downtown Wimberley. Watch the wildlife from both the front and back decks where the deer roam freely. Take a stroll around the property and enjoy the fresh air and nature all around. There are many great restaurants in Wimberley for dining out. If you decide to stay in, our fully equipped kitchen and gas grill on the back deck will help in preparing all your favorite meals. There are 2 tables in the kitchen area to seat everyone at once for dinner and dessert or to play games. The Living room has a wonderful over-sized reclining leather sectional that seats many! Relax with a movie from our extensive library or stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV. Or simply unplug from the world and talk, laugh and make memories with your friends and family.

The Master suite contains a super cozy king size bed and Smart TV. The master suite also houses a bathroom with a double vanity and both a large Garden Tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and a vanity and the third bedroom has Two Double beds. There is a second bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

No need to worry with excessive packing. All the bed and bath linens are provided as well as kitchen and bath essentials. Just pack your suitcase and groceries (or don't and dine out at our great restaurants).

Come and explore beautiful Wimberley and the surrounding areas. Shopping, swimming, hiking, dining, wine tasting, local breweries and sight-seeing are all within minutes of our home.

This property is on a quiet, family-centered road. If you are looking for a place to entertain a rowdy or loud crowd or have a big party, this is not the rental home for you. We ask that all guests respect outdoor quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. PLEASE NOTE….RATE IS FOR 1 TO 4 PEOPLE. EACH ADDITIONAL GUEST IS $25 PER NIGHT (8 MAX).

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please start a load of towels. Detergent is in the cabinet to the right of the washing machine. Please leave beds unmade.
Make sure all outdoor trash is picked up, including bottle caps and cigarette butts. Take to can at the curb.
After your departure, if excessive clean up is required, either indoors or outdoors, additional fees will be assessed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rate is based on 4 guests. Each additional guest is $25 per night. Maximum of 8 guests total. No parties allowed.
No pets allowed, indoor or outdoor. No exceptions.
Smoking allowed OUTSIDE ONLY. Throw butts in trash cans.

Very friendly and gracious host. Property is easy to find, very centrally located for our purposes. House is well decorated, big enough for all to spread out or gather together. Beds and bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Plan to return at our next opportunity.

The house was adorable and the deck over looking the wooded backyard was perfect for morning coffee. The host was quick to respond to my questions and they supplied coffee, creamer, and sugar. Great place to stay.

We were in Wimberly for my son’s wedding. There aren’t traditional hotels in this area so staying in a home is the only option. This home has everything you need. We bought groceries in order to eat breakfast and lunch there but could have easily made a full meal using the equipment provided. The front and back porches are comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Angela and Russell are such great hosts! This is my second stay with them and my next one is already booked. There are so many things that make this a great place to stay. The house is clean and prepped with everything we could possibly need. The fire pit and hot tub provide great opportunities to relax and visit with friends and family. It’s close to Wimberley’s shopping and dining activities. All of these make it a place anyone would love to stay but the very best thing, hands down, is the peace and quiet. Sitting on the porch listening to the birds as the sun rises or watching the sun set and the stars come out is good for my soul. Book your stay. You won’t regret it!

Perfect house without neighbors right next to you! We weren’t there much because of having lots of things scheduled Beds were very comfortable as well as the house having a warm home like feeling. We all enjoyed it and looking to go back to it soon!

My husband and I moved from the Houston area to Wimberley 22 years ago to raise our children in a small town with good family values. We absolutely love it here!

I really enjoy making our guests feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed in our home. We have comfortable beds with soft linens and plenty of seating to accommodate all both inside and out. To make your planning and packing as easy as possible, we provide the essentials needed in the kitchen and bathroom (i.e. soap, shampoo, blowdryer, many kitchen small appliances, etc).

We hope you love it here as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it is nice and quiet and FEELS like we are far away. However, we are only 5 minutes from downtown Wimberley so its close and convenient to the grocery store, restaurants, shopping and lots of fun places.

Jacob's Well and Blue Hole swimming area are both within minutes of our home. (Make reservations online in advance). Wimberley Valley Winery, Driftwood Vineyards and Limestone Terrace are all located in Wimberley as well as a few great tasting rooms and local breweries too.

Outside of Wimberley (but nearby) is Austin, San Antonio, Gruene and New Braunfels. Sites to see...Hamilton's Pool, Westcave Preserve, tube the Guadalupe or Comal River, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld and much more!
