La villa est située dans le centre de la Dalmatie entre Split et Dubrovnik, sur la Makarska - Riviera, dans le village idyllique sur les pentes des montagnes de Biokovo,
avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de Podgora et les îles de Hvar et Brac (environ 300 m d'altitude).
Au fond, le massif des montagnes du Biokovo avec ses pentes abruptes et ses contreforts doux, plein d'oliviers verts et de figuiers.
Faites du vélo ou de la randonnée dans le parc naturel de Bikovo, à 2 km.
Laissez pendre votre âme, éteignez-vous dans l'atmosphère du village, entouré par le parfum de la lavande et du romarin.
Profitez des magnifiques couchers de soleil, du ciel étoilé loin des foules de touristes.
Dans le village idyllique sur les pentes des montagnes de Biokovo au bord de la piscine ou l'un des 4 balcons avec vue sur la mer,
C'est dans un quartier calme, non loin de l'église du village,
a été construit en 1905 et rénové avec une grande attention aux détails.
Les chambres sont grandes, avec des murs en pierre traditionnels, qui donnent une atmosphère agréable.
Chaque chambre dispose d'un balcon ou d'une terrasse où vous pourrez profiter de couchers de soleil romantiques avec un verre de vin.
La grande cuisine rustique est au rez-de-chaussée et devant elle se trouve un beau jardin avec une piscine de 25 m2, cascade, chaises longues et hamac.
Avec de belles vues sur la mer, 4 terrasses ensoleillées, jardin privé avec piscine et grill, nous vous offrons repos et détente, situé près de la plage et du parc naturel des montagnes de Biokovo.
Vous êtes à 5 minutes en voiture ou en scooter dans le village de pêcheurs de Podgora avec son port idyllique et sa plage de galets merveilleusement étendue,
les cafés chics, les restaurants et les nombreux magasins.
Sur la plage voisine, il existe de nombreuses possibilités de sports nautiques.
Vous pouvez faire de la voile, du parapente, du ski nautique, louer des bateaux ou simplement nager et paresser au soleil.

What an incredible place to stay!We met the host, Manuela, at her nearby home who led us by car to the villa. She gave us a lovely tour of the house and she was incredibly welcoming and friendly, including leaving us various welcome gifts of delicious locally sourced (and family-made!) food and drinks. The villa was beautiful, exceeding all expectations and equipped with everything we needed, including towels for both bathroom and pool, and a very helpful folder of tips for shopping and trips in the local area. Manuela gave us lots of information too, and was happy to message us during our stay with queries we had- so helpful.The kitchen was well appointed and we also cooked on the barbeque outside a few times.The pool was a lovely size and well maintained. There were several very comfortable seating areas inside and out (including a very popular hammock!) as well as lovely bedrooms and en-suites, all pristinely clean.The views from the villa were breathtaking. It was truly incredible to wake up to every day.A short drive to the very pretty town and then a short walk from the car park next to the sea led to stunning beaches with excellent snorkling! Lots of choice for food in the town and beyond, all with gorgeous sea views.The children all had a fabulous time, as did the adults! We were sad to leave- it really was the perfect choice for our holiday with friends and family.Thank you so much Manuela! Truly a holiday we will treasure the memories of forever.

Great place and fantastic viewa

Great place with all what you need and a very helpfull Manuela. Fantastic views to the sea and the mountains. The only negative thing is, that it takes to long to walk to Podgora. Thank you for having us.

Gorgeous home - beautiful place to stay in Podgora

We had the best time at Villa Lavanda! This home is fabulous and has been meticulously renovated - it felt so special to stay here; a true Dalmatian gem! Manuela was a lovely host, super attentive and friendly. She set up a baby crib for our daughter and was always available via text. Highlights: AMAZING POOL and Garden, very large comfortable bedrooms, 5 min drive to Podgora beaches, gorgeous sunsets and unreal views of Croatia from any of the FIVE balconies. I hope I can stay here again some day in the future!

Beautiful House

We had a beautiful week in Manuelas House. So very clean, well decorated, nice and cozy. Delicius treats upon arrival. Thank you so much. A lovely pool and flowet garden and a stunning view from the bed rooms over Podgora and the sea and Islands. Missed an owen in the kitchen, but found other ways to cook our meals on the grill outside. This holiday House gets our best recommendations👌

Beautiful house in the hills above Podgora with pool and view of the sea.

We enjoyed a fabulous week in this house in the hills above Podgora. Manuela was extremely welcoming and there was a plate of cold meat, cheese, olives and fig chutney in the fridge as well as a bottle of local wine for our first evening. She checked in on us during the week to make sure everything was ok. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean, air-conditioned and tastefully decorated and we made full use of the pool and BBQ. All the bedrooms have balconies - the perfect place to watch the sun setting over the sea. There is a trampoline for younger children. We went to the local beach (we preferred the beach at Tucepi), as well as driving to Split and Mostar for a couple of day trips. We also went on a fish picnic to the islands of Hvar and Brac. On our last morning Manuela came to say goodbye and we left with two more pots of homemade chutney. Thank you Manuela for a great week.

Wonderful Villa in the Mountain

What a wonderful Villa to stay in, we had an amazing Family Holiday in Croatia and stayed in the Spectacular Villa Lavanda for 20 days. The Villa had every comfort of home and much much more. The pictures that you have of the VIlla on this page are exactly what we got, many other places we have stayed in show different places to what you actually get.It is perfect if you have children as I do, as you have lots of space and everyone has a comfortable bed to sleep in. Our Host Manuela was very informative and gave us many tips of things to do and see and places to eat at in the Podgora Area. She made us feel very welcome and had some food for us in the Villa when we first arrived. I can say that she treated my family as if we were her family as well, but I found this from most Croatian people that we came across on our holiday while in the Podgora/Makarska area. She even told us some Croatian words to help us get by on our holiday. The Villa was very comfortable and spacious and being in the mountains it was very Cool when it was Hot outside. Thank you Manuela for your lovely Villa! We have told all of our friends here in Australia about your lovely Villa and told them they must come and stay with you. We will be coming back and bringing more family members when we return in September/October 2013, I shall book again very soon. Many thanks The Purcell Family from Western Australia

⸻Ein Traum über dem Meer – unser perfekter Rückzugsort in Kroatien

Wir hatten das große Glück, einige unvergessliche Tage in diesem traumhaften Ferienhaus an der kroatischen Küste verbringen zu dürfen – und wir sind restlos begeistert!Schon bei der Ankunft hat uns die Atmosphäre des Hauses verzaubert: Alles ist makellos sauber, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Eine optimal eingerichtete Küche, perfekt für alle, die gerne selbst kochen und genießen.Der Außenbereich ist ein echtes Highlight: Ein gepflegter Pool, der zum Entspannen einlädt, dazu ein gemütlicher Terrassenbereich mit einem schönen Steingrill, der unsere Grillabende unvergesslich gemacht hat. Die Umgebung ist absolut ruhig, da das Haus etwas oberhalb in den Hügeln liegt – genau die richtige Mischung aus Abgeschiedenheit und Nähe zur Küste.Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die grandiose Aussicht aufs Meer – vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang.Ein ganz besonderes Lob verdient auch die Gastgeberin: herzlich, aufmerksam und unglaublich großzügig. Wir wurden mit verschiedenen hausgemachten Köstlichkeiten überrascht, was unseren Aufenthalt noch persönlicher und wärmer machte.Wir sind rundum dankbar für diese Zeit, die wundervollen Stunden in diesem kleinen Paradies, und werden uns noch lange mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht daran zurückerinnern. Wir sind bereits das 2x dort gewesen und kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach toll!!!

Toller Ort, schöne Umgebung, ein wundervolles Haus. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und steht einem quasi rund um die Uhr bei fragen zur Seite. Bei Anreise wurden wir mit verschiedenen Leckereien überrauscht. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! :-)

Eine traumhafte Villa!

Wir waren im Juli mit zwei Familien bei Manuela zu Gast. Sowohl die Erwachsenen als auch die vier Teenager haben sich vollkommen wohl gefühlt. Die Villa liegt mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf dem Berg oberhalb von Podgora Beach. Jedes Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Manuela und ihr Mann haben uns rundum gut versorgt. Geschenke gab es für uns zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied, auf jede Frage wurde umgehend geantwortet und sogar bei der Buchung einer Bootstour erhielten wir Unterstützung . Manuela fuhr mit uns zum Haus hoch, kam zur Hälfte des Urlaubs zum Wäschewechsel und war immer für uns da. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Der Pool und die Außenanlagen waren sehr gut gepflegt. Zum Einkauf sind wir 20 min nach Makarska gefahren. Meistens haben wir dies mit einem Ausflug verbunden. Es war unser erster Urlaub in Kroatien. Zur Hauptsaison war alles sehr stark überfüllt, aber unser wunderschönes Ferienhaus war uns ein guter Rückzugsort. Zu Manuela würden wir jederzeit wieder reisen!!! Wir sagen DANKE für zwei Wochen voller phantastischer Erinnerungen!!

Perfekte Unterkunft vor traumhafter Kulisse

Wir waren zu ingesamt 8 Erwachsenen in der Villa und hatten mehr als ausreichend Platz, sowohl in den Schlafzimmern (mit jeweils eigenen Badezimmer) als auch in den Gemeinschaftsräumen. Jedes Schlafzimmer hatte ebenfalls einen eigenen Balkon mit fantastischem Meerblick. Hier kann man traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Es war alles super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeberin Frau Vela war sehr herzlich und hat uns sogar noch mit leckeren, selbst-gemachten Köstlichkeiten überrascht. Sie war jederzeit sehr gut erreichbar. Die Lage der Villa im Berg war für uns ideal, ausreichend Privatsphäre, als auch wenige Autominuten vom Strand bzw. der Promenade in Podgora entfernt. Darüber hinaus gibt es einige schöne Wanderrouten, die man in der Gegend machen kann. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Familienurlaub und Podgora

Wir, d.h. meine Frau, meine zwei Kinder (neun und elf Jahre) sowie ein befreundetes Ehepaar haben in diesem Gästehaus 14 wunderschöne Tage erlebt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Alle Räume sind sehr gut ausgestattet, Klimaanlage, eigenes Bad und was man sonst so braucht. Der Außenbereich ist ebenfalls sehr schön gemacht, der Pool ist sehr sauber und ausreichend tief. Zu sagen ist noch, dass im Pool meine Kinder nicht stehen konnten, somit muss man schwimmen können. Sitzgelegenheiten sowie ein großer Esstisch hatte für uns sechs Personen völlig ausgereicht. Zum Strand muss man mit dem Auto schon 5 Minuten einrechnen, hierbei hat man aber auch die Möglichkeit gleich an andere Strände als den von Podgora zu fahren. Supermärkte sind gleich in Makarska, circa 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Manuela die Gastgeberin ist absolut zuvorkommend und war stets für Fragen zu erreichen. Kurz um wann kann das Haus nur empfehlen!

Dream villa in the old town

This was a perfect villa for two families to relax in Croatia. The outdoor area and pool were the highlight with plenty of shade and a fantastic swimming pool. Bedrooms are large and airconditioned and the house is set on four floors which gave everyone privacy. It's in an idyllic old-town setting next to a beautiful church and has fantastic views across to the neighbouring islands (plus a stunning mountain backdrop). The local town of Podgora is smaller and a lot nicer than Nearby Makaska (which was very busy and touristy) and we found some really good restaurants on the harbour. Highlights for the kids were diving from the harbour, the inflatable aquapark on the beachfront, a boat trip to nearby islands, and the trip to the mountain Zipwire. Manuela was an excellent host and on hand to answer any questions. We were grateful for a plate of local meat and cheese and delicious homemade wine which greeted us after a long flight. She also changed the bedding and towels halfway through our stay, which was appreciated. The only slight drawback was the 10-minute drive to the town on a winding road with steep drops. We soon got used to this. Overall, we thoroughly recommend this villa and the host Manuela.

Amazing stay

We spent a lovely time at this amazing villa. Manuela was a kind and present host. The villa itself has lovely balconies and a great feel. It’s only a few mins drive away from Podgora and other towns worth visiting. The drive down to the town is a bit tricky with very windy roads. If you’re going to the beach, bring beach shoes as you’ll need them. Mosquito repellent is also a must. We did a lovely boat trip with Fish and Trips which was great fun. Overall we recommend staying at this beautiful villa.

Best view wonderful pool and garden

The house is located on top of the town with the best view at the seaside and Sun-Rise and Fall. We loved our days and Evenings in the pool and garden and the many nice rooms with a lot of privacy for each one. The best part was the host itself though - as you read before maybe too, we had the best cheese and bacon for our welcome a bottle of wine and a limoncelli - and a lot of help wherever needed. Manuela is a very nice person and speaks perfect German and good English. Podgora is also a nice location close to the beautivul makarska but not yet too crowded. Also to go to Split or Trogir is still duable for half or a full day. And we also did a wonderful tour by boat to Hvar and Brac. Plitvicer Lakes is 3 Hours - so a bit far - but also doable for a day trip and we also loved Krka - which is 1,5 hours away. The mix of swimming in the salty sea and in the clear pool was just perfect. I finished a lot of books reading...that means something. Special Thing- from now on there is the second part of the house to be rented too - also with a pool. Both houses can be unitedt though opening the door of the garden - having to pools then. Thank you a lot for this wonderful place

Rymligt, mysigt boende med väldigt trevliga värdar!

Vår stora familj hade två härliga veckor här. Huset är så fint renoverat och rymligt - alla hade eget rum med eget badrum och egen balkong. Den helt inhägnade gården med pool är en riktig pärla och omgivningarna är verkligen lugna, tysta och med en fantastisk utsikt från alla balkonger. Manuela och hennes man gav oss bästa tänkbara mottagande och var så trevliga och tillmötesgående hela tiden. Högsta tänkbara betyg!

Wunderschöner Entspannungsurlaub

Wir waren für fast 2 Wochen in dieser traumhaften Villa und wollten gar nicht mehr weg! Das Haus ist wunderschön und genau wie auf den Fotos. Sauberkeit ist top! Wir haben sogar kleine Geschenke wie Wein oder eine Vesperplatte zur Begrüßung bekommen. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft und mit dem Auto ist man im 5 min am Meer! Wer Entspannung sucht ist hier absolut richtig!

Perfekte Tage

Wir haben das große Haus, den Pool und die verschiedenen Sitz - und Liegemöglichkeiten im Garten sehr genossen und wunderbare 10 Tage verbracht. Alles ist sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr verwöhnt, waren aber stets diskret und kaum zu bemerken. Ein kleines technisches Problem wurde innerhalb von Minuten behoben, obwohl die Vermieter nicht direkt am Haus wohnen. Toller Service! Klasse fanden wir auch, dass es zu jedem Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad gibt, was bei vier erwachsenen Familienmitgliedern für zusätzliche Entspannung und Privatsphäre sorgt. Auch in der Küchenausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt, da wir auch im Urlaub gerne kochen fanden wir den großen Kühlschrank mit Wasseraufbereitung perfekt. Internet und Smart TV waren nicht nur für die jüngere Generation ein zusätzliches Plus. Ein Auto ist sicherlich von Vorteil, da die Villa außerhalb am Berg liegt, aber auch direkt ab dem Haus gibt es viele Möglichkeiten für kleinere Spaziergänge und größere Wanderungen. Auch verschiedene Spazierwege nach Podgora sind ausgeschildert. Nach kurzer Fahrt ist Makarska gut zu erreichen, dort befinden sich mehrere größere Supermärkte und weitere Strände, auch ein ausgewiesener Hundestrand.

Amazing Place

Our stay in "Villa Lavanda" amazing. First of all Manuela was as friendly and as professional as she could be. We had warm welcome to the house host with traditional Dalmatian appetizers, home made olive oil, home made delicacy etc. Villa is nestled on the perfect place, under the Biokovo mountains , away from tourist crowd with a stunning view on Adriatic see. Tranquil place within just short drive to the best beaches :Podgora, Tucupi, Igrane etc. Also, just minutes drive to beautifull Makarska. Sunset from the balconies is indescribably beautiful. We will be back !

Traumhaft schönes Haus und unglaublich nette Vermieter

Danke vorab an Manuela und Pero Vela für die wundervollen zwei Wochen in Eurem Haus! Die Villa Lavanda liegt etwas oberhalb des beschaulichen Dorfes Podgora und bietet von allen Balkonen der drei Etagen einen grandiosen Blick auf das Meer. Die faszinierenden Sonnenuntergänge zu bestaunen ist jeden Tag auf's Neue ein Ereignis! Wir waren mit großen Erwartungen auf die weite Reise gegangen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Im Gegenteil! Das Haus ist nach einem kleinen Umbau noch schöner und komfortabler als auf den Bildern hier zu sehen. Die Terrasse und der Poolbereich sind großzügig und mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Sonnenbaden, Relaxen, Essen und Spielen versehen. Unsere Jungs haben die Hängematten geliebt ;-) Der Pool selbst und die Pflanzen und Blumen werden vom Besitzer ganz unauffällig und mit viel Hingabe gepflegt. Pero "Der Zauberer" verwandelt füh morgens sogar Luft in Wein! Manuela macht die besten Liköre und Marmeladen und hat uns bei unserer späten Ankunft damit und mit einem leckeren Snack eine Riesenfreude gemacht! Der Weg in den kleinen Ort Podgora oder an die tollen Strandabschnitte in der Nähe ist immer wieder eine Show. Aus jeder Kurve ergibt sich ein anderer, toller Blick auf die Buchten und das Meer. Wir mussten unzählige Male auf den Wegen für Fotos halten und haben jetzt die wohl größte Fotosammlung aller Urlaube überhaupt zusammen ;-) Wir können das Haus ausdrücklich für einen ruhigen aber auch abwechslungsreichen Urlaub mit allem Komfort empfehlen und sind glücklich Manuela und Pero kennengelernt zu haben! Podgora und die Villa Lavanda sind die weiteste Anreise wert!

Hervorragendes Ferienhaus für Paare und Familien.

Wenn sie einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub genießen möchten, ist die Villa Lavanda genau das Richtige. Super tolles Ferienhaus, Sauberkeit, liebe zum Detail, sauberer und gepflegter Pool. Gesamteindruck super!!! Die Gastgeber Manuela und Peter waren überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bei allen Fragen für uns da! Wir kommen wieder!!! Das sagt alles!!!

Ein wunderschön renoviertes Ferienhaus, stilvoll eingerichtet mit diversen Antiquitäten und liebevoll betreut von Manuela und ihrem Mann. Die Aussicht von den verschiedenen Balkonen auf das Meer ist grandios. Bei unserer Anreise hat uns Manuela mit einer leckeren Schinken-Käse-Platte überrascht und mit Wein, Marmelade und Olivenöl aus eigener Herstellung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke für Alles !!

My name is Manuela, and I live in Croatia, the most beautiful part of the earth! I grew up in Germany, where I went to elementary school. In my free time, I like to paint, read, and -above all- travel! I love old things and make my living renovating them. Many of the items are on display on the house for you to see. My entire family works in tourism. As well as Villa Lavanda, we rent seaside apartments and own a ship with which my husband and son lead day trips to the islands of Hvar and Brac. Of course, our own guests get 10% off these tours. We love nature and produce out own hand-picked olive oil, wine, schnapps, and local liquor.

Villa Lavanda was an inheritance from our grandfather. He spent his entire life in New Zealans, working as a Gumdigger to build the property. My husband and I have lived in the house and have renovated it with plenty of love. You'll notice :)

Villa Lavanda is in the area of some of the best-known tourist attractions of the area: Dubrovnik, Split, Mostar, Zadar, Krka waterfalls,the Biokovo Mountain natural park, and Hvar, Brac and Korcula Islands. Our house is just a couple minutes' drive from the sea, yet in a very peaceful and romantic area. It is not far from the town church, and was built in 1905 and renovated with much attention to detail. The rooms are large, with traditional stone walls that give off a special ambiance. Each room has a balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy a sunset with a good glass of wine. There is also a lovely new pool with enough recliners.
