Nice location. Could use a refresh & deep clean.

This house was perfectly located for the wedding my family was attending. It is a short walk to a nice, calm beach. Beware, this beach has tar. The house is managed by a professional management company. There were several areas with lots of cobwebs that clearly had not been cleaned in a while. That was disappointing. Thankfully the bedding was fresh and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The house could use a little refresh overall (towels, furniture cushions, etc). The house is pretty cool and has a lot of different seating areas. Overall we had a great time, and the house had everything we needed. The management company was responsive via email and getting in/out was a breeze.

Perfect on Padaro

House was perfect for our short stay with family coming into visit. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The only issue we had is that there are a lot of stairs. One of our members had surgery recently and it was a very slight issue for them.

A slice of paradise

It is not easy to find a house that’s walkable to the beach in Santa Barbara and that is clean, nice, and spacious. This is all of the above on the coveted Padaro Lane. We have now stayed here twice and have loved it each time. It has 3 bedrooms (2 of them are huge!) plus a loft with an ocean view. And it is soooo close to the beach - just a short trail and you’re at what feels like a private beach in 5 minutes. Easy check in process and great communication. One tricky thing is that the Padaro Lane bridge is shut down so you have to take the northern/western Padaro lane exit.

Beach life

We celebrated my 60th birthday at this nicely furnished home just steps from the beach and a few minutes to Carp and Summerland. It was perfect. We walked on the beach every sunrise and sunset and prepared meals for 6 in the well equipped kitchen. Loved it.

Beach House Reunion

The property was amazing - an award-winning design located just steps from a beautiful private beach filled with friendly folks and happy puppers. We enjoyed the layout and amenities of the property, which were phenomenal. The Master Bedroom Suite is unbelievable. The property management company was wonderful: responsive, attentive and always available. Would recommend this to any group of adults for a spectacularly beautiful getaway.

Great place

Had a wonderful stay here. Less than 5 mins walk to the beach. We had a 1 year old and greatly appreciated the gate at the top of the stairs and other childproofing on the railings. Only comment is that there seemed to be something wrong with the alarm and it kept beeping every hour and went off one night and we didn't have the code. We texted the property manager and they gave us the code immediately so it became a non-issue. All in all, we had a great experience and would definitely return.

Wonderful weekend!

This property was phenomenal. The location was stunning with access to the beach. The check in process was smooth and the property management team was attentive and responsive. Plenty of fresh towels and linens and a wonderful kitchen stocked with necessities. Very comfortable stay!

Everything and more

We loved this stay so much we extended it. Was so beyond perfect. The main bedroom does get pretty hot but nothing the fresh air cldnt alleviate. So thankful we found this gem. No problems at all. Can't wait to be back!

Fun and clean beach getaway

This is a fun property in a great location. We travelled as a family and had a great time. Lots of great outdoor places to hang out and a very short, easy walk to a great beach. The property has two spiral staircases which parents of small children might want to know, but the property is set up so you can comfortably stay with all ages with a secure gate at the top of the stairs in the main living area. The house is near the highway and train tracks, but if you know this area you understand it's a special spot on earth, a great beach, and the house makes awesome advantage of the location so you can enjoy the beach air and view from the master bedroom. We had a great time, would stay again.

Great views from this house

We very much enjoyed our four nights at this Padaro Beach property. The large windows gave lots of light and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are ocean views from the second and third levels. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom and we hope to return again.

Perfect Setting

The house and amenities were perfect. Our host was kind enough to meet us at the property and show us around. It was quiet and relaxing and the home itself is an architectural fantasy . The beach is a short walk away, which is wonderful for watching sunsets.... We enjoyed our visit which was specifically for our son's wedding at the Rincon Beach Club (amazing!). I would absolutely book this house again and again.

Wonderful visit

My friends and I visited this past weekend and had a great time! The house was beautiful and the beach was wonderful. Kim met me at the property to provide me with a tour and when I had difficulty locating the beach access she turned around and returned to personally help me!

Perfect summer get-away

This was the cleanest short-term rental we've ever been in....not a speck of mildew in the bathrooms, and even the coffee grinder was wiped clean. That attention to detail is really appreciated. It's also probably the most well-appointed, best-equipped rental we've seen. The kitchen has everything, but the beach gear was really next level. I counted at least five beach chairs, a few boogie boards, a fun board and three kayaks w/ life jackets. If I had to reach for negatives, there are a lot of stairs, and it's a bit of a long haul to the water for some of the heavier beach gear. Overall, a great experience though, and we would repeat. Sorry we broke a juice glass while placing it in the dishwasher.

Clean and organized home .

Great getaway with easy walking path to magical Padaro Beach. Walking distance to Santa Claus Lane for breakfast and Summerland for lunch.
