Relax on the back deck or patio.
Bring your boat and launch it in one of the three near-by river towns or bring your kayak and enjoy the lake a few miles down the road.
This is the place to relax and enjoy the quiet country location.

I reserved this property as a pre-first baby getaway ("babymoon") for my niece. Here is her review:We loved our babymoon at this cabin. Our time was spent exploring what the surrounding towns had to offer, such as farmers markets and waterfalls and kayaking. The location was peaceful and stocked with eveything you might need for your getaway, such as a grill, a fireplace, stocked fridge and board games!

Perfect long weekend getaway

Adorable little house, everything renovated and moderns with lots of personal touches and decor. Very comfortable, good heat, wifi, etc. Lots of cool towns and hiking within 20-30 mins driving. The sense of hospitality was above and beyond with plentiful grocery items in the kitchen and personal mementos to take home. Hoping very much to come back soon, thank you Lina.

Perfect setting!

This house was perfect! The location was desirable to the things we wanted and needed to do. The inside of the house was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. Outside was a peaceful, wooded setting and allowed for a perfect place to relax and unwind from your busy lives. We plan on returning one day soon!

Peaceful weekend stay

My partner and I had such a peaceful weekend at Lina’s place. It was a beautiful property, inside and out! She included so many thoughtful details in the stay, and working with her made everything simple and stress-free. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this home, and can’t wait to stay again.

Peace in the woods!

We enjoyed our stay from the moment we drove in and found an adorable navy blue house with a bright yellow door! The flowers and trees said “welcome, stay here and enjoy nature and find serenity!” Everything was new, clean and well supplied! We cooked in the full kitchen, grilled our back and sipped coffee on the front deck. We’ll come again as there is lots to see including art, mountains and local farm stands. Thanks it was a great stay!

The vacation rental came about after we purchased this home and completed the renovations. Because of the quiet location I thought it would be a great place for people to get away from the city life. The property is located just a few hours from NYC and an easy trip.
