Watch the gently lapping waves roll into the bay as you soak in your private hot tub at this Tahoe Keys vacation rental. With a pool table, private dock ( this dock is shared with the owners boat), and (for an extra fee) shared resort amenities like a pool and tennis, this getaway promises to be a great home base for your Lake Tahoe vacation!

Just steps from the shores of the Lake Tahoe inlet, a six-mile drive to Heavenly Mountain Resort, and another six miles to casinos in Nevada, you'll have dining, activities, and shopping all at your fingertips.

A mixture of custom stone, soft carpeting, and rich hardwood floors run throughout the expansive home. Turn on the gas fireplace and grab a pool cue and an ice-cold brew from the in-house bar for a fun session of pool on your private table. Watch the game on the cable-equipped flatscreen HDTV as you play, or enjoy some fun background music on the stereo.

If you didn't bring a DVD to watch on the DVD player, you'll be able to log into your personal Netflix account on the living room HDTV for a movie night with everyone. When the movie is done, walk out onto your private deck and sink slowly into the hot tub as the stars dance above. In the summer, you can enjoy meals outside on the patio furniture and use the gas grill (please note that these items are seasonal).

Open to the bar and pool area, the granite countertop kitchen is a chef's dream. Take in the stunning bay views as you make use of the gourmet gas range on the large kitchen island. With a modern stone backsplash and upgraded appliances, you'll feel like a star as you create a culinary masterpiece.

Connect to the WiFi to check the scores of the games and if you need it, the private washer/dryer will help you stay on top of any dirty clothes that may pile up during your stay.

This three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home also has a loft for even more space for your guests. Eight guests can sleep here comfortably on traditional beds, but there is an additional blow-up queen-size air mattress. All bedrooms are upstairs, as well as three bathrooms, with a half-bath downstairs.

In the master bedroom, you'll be greeted by a plush king-size bed, luxurious en suite bathroom, and tree-lined views. The second and third bedrooms both have queen-size beds, while the loft also has a queen-size bed and queen blow up mattress available for 2 more guests. With so much space, you'll have plenty of sleeping options!

After working on your serve on the community tennis courts, head over to the shared pool for a refreshing dip. Either rent a kayak or fishing boat to launch into the deep blue water of Lake Tahoe from the dock in your backyard (please be sure to supervise your young children in the yard, as it is not completely fenced). All amenities come with an extra fee.

In winter, the ski lifts are in full swing, so you can get your group together and enjoy the wide array of trails, runs, and snow-filled activities at Heavenly Mountain Resort. With a ski school for the kids and challenging runs for the experienced skiers, you'll be able to keep your whole group busy and having fun.

Definitely not a "Dream Home" Poor experience w/ house & property management

Overall experience was bad. We specifically reserved this house due to it having a private boat dock. When we arrived, the dock was occupied by the owner's boat that stays there all the time. We contacted the property management, who apparently knew nothing about the boat; who's it was or why it was there. That was pretty hard to believe. The property management informed us they wouldn't move the boat due to the owner's request, but then the next day, the property management showed up to move the boat to the outside of the dock in the main channel. They didn't bother knocking on the front door, just came around to the back, pretty intrusive!

The hot tub was locked and turned off upon our arrival. We had to call to get the code for the lock, it wasn't in any of the paperwork. We turned it on, but even after a day, it still wasn't even Luke warm. We contacted the property manager, who said they just drained it and turned it on the day we arrived. We let them know it was off when we arrived. They sent someone out 2 days into our stay. The guy said that it has issues, you need to heat it a certain way in order for it to work. Would have been nice to know ahead of time!

The owner was also kind enough to turn on the sprinklers for 45 min from 8:00 to 8:45 the only night we decided to eat out on the patio. He conveniently had a camera pointed right at the area. We called the property management, but they were no help. We were rained out of our dinner!

The house itself was just ok. It was a little dirty upon our arrival. There were dirt piles in the corners where someone was sweeping or swiffering the floors. The ceiling fans looked like they'd never been dusted. There weren't any cleaning supplies we could use, the mop at the house was full of mildew. We had to go buy a mop & cleaning supplies at the store so we could clean up after our stay to avoid losing any of our deposit. The pool table looked like it hasn't been cleaned/brushed. The shower in the master bedroom also didn't work correctly.

Overall, we had a pretty bad experience considering we paid a premium for the 4th of July week. The property management said they'd be reaching out after our stay to "make everything right." To this day, we've yet to hear from them...

We wouldn't stay here again.

Beautiful home in great location.

This home was well furnished and lovely. The only problem we had was that the hot tub had a padlock on it. That’s one of the main reasons we rented this house and I was really bummed we couldn’t use it. I tried calling the support number provided but the call kept getting disconnected. Overall, it was a lovely home.

Perfect Location, But There Are Rules.

Overall we very much enjoyed our three-night stay. The home is on a great lot which, allowed us to spend a lot of time outside on the deck. A lot of wildlife, ducks, geese, muskrats, rabbits, fish, no bears. :) We enjoyed the firepit every night, but there is a very strict noise ordinance rule that requires all noise to be cut off at 10 pm. I can understand this because not everyone there is on vacation and some do have to get up early and go to work, but they make you so worried about getting a $2000 fine(minimum $1000), that my husband and I were even worried about being outside later than 10:00. Another possible fine (minimum $1000) is they only allow two cars at the home at any time, and they have to be in the driveway. You cannot even unload a 3rd car or park to pick someone up. Since the house sleeps 8 which we filled, we had one and sometimes two cars parked in lover flow, which is a 3-minute drive.

The home was comfortable, updated, and fairly well equipt. The kitchen could use a few more utensils, as there weren't any rubber spatulas which made cooking a little challenging. The BBQ has seen better days. No utensils for the BBQ either and it was dirty from the previous guests, so cleaning was a challenge.

We didn't use the spa because it was really dirty, I mean stinky gross. I could have called and asked for it to be fixed, but it almost could use and total empty and refill. I figured by the time they came to take care of it, we would only have one day left.

Upon check in the lady informed me the garage is under surveillance and the owner can see and hear everything in the garage. Kind of weird. I get he has stuff in there and video is fine, but the fact he can listen was odd to me. There is also a camera outside on the back deck, not sure if they can listen in as well.

Once again overall we did very much enjoy our stay and would recommend this home to friends and family in the future.

Beautiful home! Loved the dock! Only draw back was to many stairs for bad knees! The view was awe...

Loved the view, the. House was great but to many up & down to rooms for people with bad knees. Maybe a make-up dresser would be nice. The dock patio was the best spot for relaxing! Lighting was not very bright & hard to find switches but still a great place!
