Amazing House

Location was great in FairPlay close to Breckinridge. The house is amazing!!! Stayed with family and friends everyone love the setup of the house. Would highly recommend staying here. The house is fantastic and extremely clean!

Lovely home

This was a pretty amazing log home, and suited our party of nine nicely. It was an excellent basecamp for our exploration of the surrounding mountains. And the sightings (in the immediate yard/neighborhood) of mule deer multiple moose, a bobcat, etc. only added to the experience. Definitely had a nice stay.

Beautiful Fairplay Get away!

This cabin was gorgeous and well worth the price to create some memorable time together for our family. It is easy to get to and had everything we needed and more.

Perfect stay for 9 of us.

We were 4 couples and one single. Our stay was perfect. The house was beautiful and clean. All appliances were working. A nice bottle of wine greeted us. The only thing that could’ve made it better is if there was a queen bed in the room with the double bunk and put all bunks in one room. That way 4 couples could use the house more comfortably. But we knew that going into the rental, so no complaints. Just suggesting. Owners were great at communicating.

Above our Expectations.

My husband and I invited our three children and their families to join us at this cabin for a few days. There was plenty of room for each family to have their own space. The kitchen was large enough for us to cook together and we were able to find the essentials we needed in the kitchen. If we decide to return to Colorado again next summer, we will stay here again.

Spacious Cabin

9 of us stayed very comfortably in this home! It was clean and beautiful! Gorgeous tree views from the deck. The owners live on-site above the detached garage. Mike and Teresa, the owners, were very responsive and helpful when we needed it but otherwise felt like we had the property to ourselves.

Wonderful space for family who like to spread out

Cabin was EXCELLENT! Couple of pictures online before booking weren't matching with written descriptions but a couple of emails later and we were able to get the layout down. Bunk rooms connect with an open loft above which was so much fun for the kids and each bunk room had a trundle bed so the kids could each sleep wherever they wanted to each night with a total of 6 beds in the 2 rooms. Master bedroom on the top floor, Queen bedroom in the basement, and another Queen bedroom on the main level on the opposite side of the house from the kids bunk rooms. All was perfect! Thank you!

Excellent!!!

This house is beautiful!!! We felt at home in this house and my kids ages 2,5,7 loved it!! The kids loft was so fun for them and we loved that the house was big enough for all of us to have are own space and privacy. Very peaceful and fully stocked to meet your needs. And the owners were fantastic!

Getaway

A beautiful property nestled in the backroads, plenty of room for our friends and I. The property was very cleaned and well stocked with necessities, the owners do reside in property but never felt as though someone was living in the apartment above garage… spooky sounding I know.. would definitely stay here again! Also beautiful Christmas decor, with a Christmas tree for those holiday enthusiasts, definitely recommend a 4x4 vehicle for the heavy winter season (dirt roads for 2 miles to property, snow and ice will probably make that not so fun)

Beautiful Home and Property in South Park

We were on a trip for fly fishing and stayed at this incredible location. It was close enough to Fairplay and our fishing destinations but still felt very secluded among the aspens and mountains. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful property and house in South Park

My friends and I do an annual fly fishing trip and we selected this property for our trip this year. The house is beautiful inside and out, views out the windows, deck space, relaxing and eating spaces are perfect. It was also close to Fairplay but remote enough to give you plenty of privacy and an incredible view of the stars at night. Would highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Spacious / Private / Peaceful

If you’re looking for a log cabin in the mountains feel this is it. Huge. Spacious. Quiet. Peaceful. The only drawback we’re the pothole ridden gravel roads on the way in which is neither the owners or VRBO’s fault and I’m guessing the roads get graded from time to time so it may not always be as bad as we experienced.

Exceeded Our Expectations

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The main room was spacious, the kitchen perfect for cooking family meals, the downstairs was great for relaxing and watching movies or football, and the backyard area was perfect for playing games and hanging out. The mattresses were of great quality, so we all slept well. We saw moose and deer from the back deck. The location placed us close to Breckenridge and Buena Vista, so it was the perfect basecamp for hiking, fishing, and even a trip to the Great Sand Dunes (2.5 hrs away). The owners were incredibly hospitable.

Great location, beautiful home

This a beautiful log home that gives you that cozy feeling during a vacation. It had plenty of room for all 10 of us. The location was great. Everything we did was an hr and a half or less away. The owners live on the property which had advantages. They are the nicest people. We got to see a moose or two just feet away while staying there. The beds are comfy and the house everyone had their own space. I would recommend this rental to anyone I know. Late May - Early June weather: First night we had snow, the rest of the week was high 50s to 60s.

Dream come true

I always wanted to stay in a cabin in the mountains. This place was lovely. Plenty of room for my family of eight. The moose, deer, birds and ground squirrels were a daily delight. Walking in the woods and the mountain views were magical. I enjoyed making fires and even bringing in wood for the fireplace. Overall great experience. Can't wait togo back.
