Great stay

The apartment was clean and welcoming. It was comfortable for us as a family of four with two teenagers. As other reviews have mentioned, it was noisy since it is located on a main road. That didn't bother us much during the night but would wake us early in the mornings. Tiziana communicated well with us prior to arrival and during our stay and even provided us transportation to and from the apartment. There is a grocery store and a great restaurant very close. The walk to the train took 20-25 minutes and just beyond that is the city center which was a nice place to walk around. Overall, it was a great stay.

Good value for your money

Very nice apartment in La Spezia. Both Tiziana and Antonio are excellent hosts and we felt very welcome there. The street is very noisy, that needs to be taken into consideration. Nevertheless, we had a good time im La Spezia which is a great base for trips into the Cinque Terre region. Grazie mille.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement

Wir waren nur eine Nacht in dieser Unterkunft aber haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es warteten kleine Aufmerksamkeiten auf uns und die Gastgeber haben uns noch ein fantastisches Restaurant in der NĂ€he empfohlen. Vielen Dank. Gerne wieder.

Wonderful, but bring ear plugs!

The apartmemt is modern and well decorated and cared for, and is located centrally to see Cinque Terre and Portovenere. The train and bus stations are within a 10-15 walk from the apartment, and there is a supermarket less than 1 minute away. Tony was a gracious host with great recommendations and he even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station upon our arrival and check out! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only criticism is that it is located on an extremely noisy and busy street (at all hours). Invest in ear plugs and you've got a winning rental here!

Great Place Highly Recommended

Anthony and Tiziana go way over and above as gracious hosts. They were friendly, welcoming and provided many recommendations and great information. They also provide snacks and drinks along with all of the amenities you need. They an eye for details. Check out the window ledge outside of the shower!! Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

Better than we hoped for

Very nice apartment and well decorated. Tony made sure to make us feel welcomed and he even had yogourts, juice, wine, beer and other things for us when we arrived. In the heat wave the many air conditioning in the flat were amazing. The apartment is about 10minutes walk from downtown La Spezia.

On aurait dĂ» se fier aux commentaires sur TripAdviser , trop bruyant (apportez-vous des bouchons c'est un must!), pas de parking (c'est un vrai casse-tĂȘte!), la deuxiĂšme chambre (2lits simples) pas de rangement pour valises, de plus, pour accĂ©der dans la chambre principale on passe par cette chambre(bravo intimitĂ©). Par contre, les hĂŽtes sont trĂšs cordiaux. C'est le logement qui n'est pas adĂ©quat. De plus, nous sommes Ă  20 minutes de marche de la gare, un peu loin sachant que dans les Cinque Terres ont marches Ă©normĂ©ment. On ne recommande pas cet endroit.

Lovely apartment with fantastic hosts

We enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the recommendations given by our hosts. They are very gracious people. The apartment is in a part of town that felt a little rough with garbage on the streets but once inside the apartment it’s a different world. Comfortable and tidy and decorated just right.

Better than described!

Our stay at this amazing apartment was so delightful! Every detail was thought of, even cute candies by the bedside! There were beverages and food for breakfast, two rooms with 3 comfortable beds, the location was perfect for us and Tony even told us about a great restaurant which was delicious! Thank you both for thinking of everything we could need. Even a book with the bus schedules, maps and details that we would have to look up ourselves. The only thing I would note is that the apartment is on a rather busy street and you can hear the traffic noise...ALL NIGHT LONG. Sirens, garbage trucks, buses, etc...bring earplugs, they helped greatly!

A wonderful stay at T. T. House...

My daughter and I celebrated our birthdays with a month long trip to Italy. We included the Cinque Terre in our itinerary, and we found the perfect apartment in nearby La Spezia, hosted by Antonio and Tiziana. Previous reviews guided me there, but I couldn’t help but think that this apartment might be too good to be true. I was so wrong! It was beyond our expectations. The care and eye for detail that Tiziana had in decorating the apartment made it apparent that she wanted her guests to be comfortable and happy during their stay, and we were. The apartment was spacious with a beautifully equipped, modern kitchen and bathroom. The graciousness, friendliness, and attentiveness of Tony and Tiziana were extra bonuses. We left La Spezia feeling like we had made two new friends. Tony showed us PortoVenire and Lerici, and, honestly, we enjoyed PortoVenire more than the Cinque Terre though the beauty of the Liguria region left us with hundreds of visual memories. If you are traveling to this area of Italy and want to explore it under the brilliant guidance of wonderful hosts, Tony and Tiziana, their apartment is the perfect one to book. We plan to book it again if we have the opportunity to return.

Great apartment!

We loved our stay at the T. T House! Antonio and Tiziana were awesome hosts and very responsive to all our questions. We took advantage of the market and bakery/deli next door for some stay-in meals. There is a laundromat within 1/2 mile and the train station is also within a 1/2 mile. Antonio was gracious enough to pick us up at the train station and drop us back off after we checked out. Antonio and Tiziana also drove us down to Porto Venere. The master bedroom was large and comfortable. We noticed quite a bit of street noise, but had no problems sleeping at night. This apartment is a great jumping off place if you are visiting the Cinque Terre, and much more affordable than the hotels. Highly recommended.

Jolie petite appartement

Jolie petite appartement, Tiziana est une hĂŽte trĂšs attentionnĂ©. Nous avions Ă  notre arrivĂ© bouteille de vin, fruit et autre petite attention vraiment trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©:)) l’appartement est bien dĂ©corĂ©! L’emplacement est cependant trĂšs bruyant car l’appartement se situe sur un boulevard principale et le stationnement est presque impossible ! De 8h a 19h il est possible de se stationner Ă  la petite Ă©picerie mais aprĂšs il est trĂšs difficile de trouver une place !

Appartement extrĂȘmement bruyant !

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cet appartement situé dans La Spezzia a 1 km de la gare centrale. Nous le recommandons aux sourds et à ceux qui ne comptent pas y dormir car c est impossible... il n y a aucune isolation phonique que ce soit sur la route et avec les parties communes.... dommage car il est joliment décoré et plutÎt bien placé pour se rendre à pieds à la gare qui permet de se rendre en 15 minutes aux cinq terres. Il y aussi eux petits supermarchés juste à cÎté . Manque à l équipement de la cuisine un couteau à pain et un grille pain.

Centraal gelegen modern appartement

Wat een heerlijk ruim appartement wat zo in een woontijdschrift kan staan. Het is ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien en mooi ingericht. De airco in alle ruimtes is top (tijdens ons verblijf was het 35 graden) We werden bij aankomst hartelijk ontvangen door Tony. Naast dat alles er tiptop uitzag was ook de koelkast voorzien van lekkere drankjes en hapjes. En het appartement is goed schoon. Fijne douche, goede bedden, altijd belangrijk. Het appartement is centraal gelegen in La Spezia. Naar het station is het ongeveer 20 minuten lopen en is dat te ver, dan stopt de bus voor de deur. Ook het centrum is te voet makkelijk te bereiken. Je auto kun je in de straat gratis parkeren, als er plaats is. Tankstation, supermarkt en bakker liggen op 100 meter van het appartement. We waren hier slechts 2 dagen om Cinque Terre en Porto Venere te bezoeken en het voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. Het enige minpunt is wellicht de drukke straat waar ook 's nachts verkeer is. Maar we hebben hier geen overlast van ervaren.

Wonderful owners!

The apartment worked well for the three of us. It has two bedrooms, which were nicely furnished. We used the kitchen, and appreciated the fruits, drinks and candies that the owners provided. We especially liked the tiramisu cake, which we could not even finish. What made the stay memorable was that Antonio was so kind as to pick us up and take us to the train station while we were there. He also took us to Porto Venere, which was a town superior to the Cinque Terre, and less crowded. He recommended a local restaurant that had good food and was in walking distance from the apartment. There is also a grocery store just around the corner. We recommend T.T. House highly, and it worked well for us as a base for visiting the Cinque Terre.

Great apartment away from the crowds of Cinque Terre! Great hosts too!

Great apartment in La Spezia! Just a short train ride to Cinque Terre. Tiziana was very responsive from the initial inquiry until we checked out. As promised, Antonio picked us up from the La Spezia Centrale and dropped us off at the apartment. They stocked the refrigerator with yogurt, beer, and sparkling wine. The kitchen was stocked with pastries, snacks and a bottle of wine too! We have been all over Europe for the past two weeks. No food or drink was provided by any of the apartment owners. The apartment was clean, recently renovated, with very strong AC in all rooms. During the summer months the AC is a necessity. The beds were comfy and there is a supermarket and bakery nearby which came in handy. When we arrived Antonio suggested we go to Portevenere as it was less crowded than Cinque Terre with stunning views. He showed us how to get there by bus or ferry. We told him we were ready to go, so he offered to drop us off...12 miles away! That was more than we could have asked for. The next day Tiziana checked on us via the HomeAway App to be sure all was well. She suggested we visit Lerici, since it too had some great views and nice beaches. She again offered to drop us off (another 12 miles away!). I could go on and on, but the bottom line is Tiziana and Antonio were great hosts and their apartment was very nice. I highly recommend this apartment and Tiziana and Antonio! They will make sure you enjoy your time at the TT House!

Beautifully appointed apartment

Our stay in the TT house was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was so clean and cozy and beautifully decorated. The owners thought of everything to give it a special touch. Snacks and Yoghurt and fresh strawberry and croissants in the fridge, to a bus ticket for each of us to get a ride into central La Spezia. They even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. Amazing sweet people that made us feel right at home. My two friends and I were visiting from Canada. Super easy to get to the train (we walked, 10 min) and take it to the Cinque Terres. I'd give them 10 stars if we could and would visit again!

great apartment

We had a great stay in La Spezia. The apartment is well situated and you feel like you are really experiencing Italy, away from the hoards of tourists visiting the Cinque Terres. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It's a great bases for visiting the Cinque Terrres but we also enjoyed visiting other local villages that were equally as beautiful and less crowded such as Porto Venere and Lerici. We had some amazing dining experiences in La Spezia especially at Caran which is very near to the apartment. The train station is a pleasant 20 minute stroll, we also hired a car which was great for exploring the local countryside. I highly recommend this place.
