Dragón Cottage es un siglo 18 contrabandistas Cottage. Está situado en la pintoresca zona de conservación de Deal y está a un tiro de piedra de la playa. Cuenta con una acogedora sala de estar con chimenea y sofá blando. La cocina-comedor bien equipada es espacioso y tiene sillas cómodas, así como el comedor formal. El jardín del patio es una trampa de sol y tiene una zona de barbacoa, así como una mesa y sillas. Hay una empinada escalera a la planta superior por lo que esta propiedad no es adecuado para cualquier persona con dificultades de movilidad. El cuarto de baño está arriba y hay un dormitorio doble generosa y una habitación doble. The property was absolutely fab! It had everything we could possibly need. The garden was also lovely and ideal for enjoying coffee in the morning and a nice glass of wine in the evening. The location was great. It’s in the conservation area and very close to the best chip shop in Deal! It’s also only a short stroll to the seafront and high street. We highly recommend!

The property was lovely, felt like a family home with their ornaments etc around. Great location in Deal near the super coastal walk. Pippa gave great advice on where to go with our teenager. Thank you.

A wonderful stay in a charming cotage

This lovely cottage suited us perfectly, right in the heart of Deal with a car park 2 minutes walk away, free overnight with an electric point for our plug-in car, but you did have to pay during the day. It was clean and comfortable with a sunny yard that would have been great to sit out in if the sun had shone! Our aged Labrador felt very welcome. We did lots of walking, to Sandwich and Broadstairs, had a day in Canterbury and a very stormy day walking by the sea through Margate. Thank you so much to the hosts, we’ve returned to SE London, refreshed and renewed

Nice cottage in great location

Old cottage full of character with nice sunny courtyard. Towels and sheets were great quality. Deal was a good location with some great places to eat and lovely walks.

A very special weekend

Dragon Cottage is delightful….. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location close to the beach. Cosy & welled stocked with great attention to detail. Struggling to find any fault, just fantastic! Good value for money….we are booking again, and telling our family & friends!

Cosy comfort, charming cottage

I stayed at Dragon Cottage a few years ago, and I was delighted to find everything as beautiful as I remembered it on my second visit. Communications and check-in were a breeze, the house is so welcoming and cosy, with everything thoughtfully provided for a comfortable getaway. A few steps to the charming Deal market on Saturday morning, a stone's throw to the beach for long seafront walks, wonderful little shops, pubs and restaurants nearby (excellent fish & chips just down the road!). The place oozes history and charm. I slept so well in the comfy bed, and loved my evenings in the elegant sitting room, reading in front of the fire. A well-equipped kitchen let me cook my own meals when I didn't eat out. I can't wait for my next stay!

Had a lovely short break here with our dog, cannot fault the property, very well equipped and comfortable with a lovely enclosed Court yard so felt safe for the dog. Lovely area with great walks nearby. Highly recommend

Excellent cottage and location

Really clean, really comfortable and a lovely sun trap courtyard. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Complimentary toiletries and robes were a welcome bonus. Great location in the centre of the conservation area with easy access to the lovely independent shops on the High Street. Best chippy and pub are 2 minutes walk away. Excellent communications with host Pippa and early check in was so helpful. We coughed up for parking in the Union Road car park as it was so convenient and just added daily rate £8 to the cost of the holiday. We love Deal and we will be back. Thanks so much for a great break Pippa.

Ideally placed

Lovely cottage with a nice feel. Ideally situated for walks along sea front and also main street shops and market. Great old fashioned pub just up the street. We loved our stay.

Lovely cottage in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy, characterful cottage. It was very comfortable, clean and ideally located right in the centre of Deal, just a few minutes walk from both shops and beach. We loved the little extras - lovely welcome basket, dressing gowns and slippers. A lovely place for a relaxing break.

Great holiday cottage

The cottage was lovely. It was close to the town and to sea front. There was plenty of space and everything we needed. Extras such as jam and teabags and dressing gowns and slippers added a splash of luxury. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts as they arranged an extra days stay. The log/coal fire was great. Plenty of plates and items in the kitchen. Towels for the beach. No problem finding places to park both in the long stay car park and free spaces in the sea front. We will definitely stay again. A lovely cottage.

A fantastic break!

Location, location, location! Such a superb spot, 1 minute from the beach and 1 minute from the high street. The accommodation was lovely, we had the best stocked welcome basket of jams and biscuits we'd ever seen. It was really comfy with a secure back yard. We'd love to go back!

Central location - charming cottage

We really enjoyed our time here. The cottage is close to the sea and all the great shops on the high street. It’s in the historic part of Deal. All v clean and well equipped. We were grateful for the basket of biscuits and jams and the Nespresso coffee. There is a sweet little terrace too. Our only issue was that we would personally have liked a firmer mattress in the main bedroom. But all in all perfect for a couple of fun days in Deal. .

Great location!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was very well equipped with everything you needed for a home from home stay. The garden was a fantastic suntrap with dining furniture and bbq. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. Would recommend a stay here .

The dog walks and the lively artistic community with exhibitions and live music going on are a fantastic escape from the hurly burly of work life. On arrival, the car is parked and everything is then in easy walking reach - wonderful. The shops are a great mix of known high street brands and quirky local shops like Dublin and Diver, the Horton shop, Smoke on the Water and Peppers health foods. There is a fantastic choice of places to eat and drink - all nearby and, of course, the sea is on our doorstep
