WHY STAY ANYWHERE IN HILO BUT CLOSE TO BEACHES AND OCEAN WHERE THE WEATHER IS BEST!!!

Lovely beach studio located a minute walking distance to ocean with small swimming cove and tide pools.

The studio is AC comfortable which ensures cool and comfortable days and evenings to help with our high island humidity. There is also a full kitchen and small dining area for two, queen size bed, full shower bath, double futon sofa bed, cable TV, wifi, and private parking.
The outdoor lanai has a private barbecue grill and outdoor dining area with garden view.
A washer and dryer is also available for guest use.

We are centrally located only a 5 minute drive from the airport and Richardson's Beach Park where you an enjoy surfing, snorkeling, and paddle boarding.
Downtown Hilo Farmers Market with fresh island fruits, vegetables, and ethnic foods are a 5 minute drive away. Close by is also the Suisan Fish Market where you can shop for a wide variety of fresh fish and other seafood. Tropical Hilo gardens are a short 5 minute drive away.
The Volcano, other tropical gardens along the Hamakua coast and zipline waterfall parks are also a short 30 minute drive away.

We really enjoyed staying here. Everything that we needed was provided and the studio was clean. It is close to downtown Hilo and the airport so it was a very convenient place to stay.

We had a great stay. Accommodations had everything you could want and more. Location was just steps from the water. Wish we had booked a longer stay. If we are ever back in Hilo, this will be the place we would choose to stay.

Host was very welcoming. Left goodies for us. Very easy to access the key for entrance. Check out also was very easy. Studio was very nice. Bed very comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. Only problem was the crazy bird noise in the evening. They finally stopped after a long time.

Very nice unit, well equipped - comfortable bed, wonderful rain shower, well equipped kitchen. All in one living space inside, but some nice sitting areas outside. Very personable and responsive host. Easy walk to a couple of nearby beaches Chalks Beach at the end of the road and Onekahakaha Beach Park nearby. Lots of beach toys with the unit. Generally quiet neighborhood except for an occasional loud plane (one every 2 AM) and some loud bass vibrations from music in vehicles at Chalks Beach on weekend. When we were first finding the place in the dark, Apple Maps sent us to the end of the road when the unit is about 100 feet before that. Woman living at end of the road in her car (Mishka) is friendly and likes to talk. Her dogs are friendly. There are two other rental units on the site, but the studio was the only one occupied when we were there.

Hilo tide pools- studio apartment

We loved every minute of our 10 night vacation in this completely appointed studio by the ocean. I soaked in the tide pools every day and came home refreshed

This was the perfect place for our stay on the east side of the island. The studio is very comfortable and centrally located to all excursions we had planned. The hosts have thought of everything one could need, from boogie boards with fins, beach chairs, small cooler, extra cooking oil etc., and all possible utensils. There are multiple seating areas in a lush garden environment steps away from a beautiful cove beach as advertised. AC (necessary), BBQ, cable TV with Netflix access, and laundry facilities are an added bonus.We would definitely stay here again!

Great place!

Very nice place. Even better in person than the pictures. Although it was a studio, we found it to be quite spacious for 2 people and well situated in Hilo. Great value.

Amazing property

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property. The location is perfectly located near a ocean front park and Hilo. The property is very well appointed and very accessible for the mobility challenged. Check in is very easy. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is planning a visit to Hilo.

Perfect Couples Retreat

As advertised. Small, but perfect for a couple or friends getaway. Perfect lanai for drinking coffee or grilling out. Convenient W/D. Everything provided. Short walk to beach area, BEAUTIFUL! Lava rocks that form little tide pools. Definitely recommend!

Hilo Studio

Great location. Has a nice residential feel vs. the large hotel or resort rentals. Loved being able to walk about 100 yards to the ocean. We had some very rainy weather so were not able to go to volcanoes, but if we were to go it was not a bad drive. Loved having the coqui frogs sing us to sleep each night. Would stay here again.
