We both love Whitby. The town has a unique character and is attractive all year round. We both love walking and were attracted by the close proximity of many attractive walks including coastal paths and moorland village walks. The availability of good public transport (trains & buses) makes it easy to enjoy linear walks. Whitby's skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, high on Whitby's East Cliff. Spreading below Whitby, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside. Whitby is situated on the Yorkshire Coast. To the south lies the coastal villages and resorts of Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. The location of the apartment on Skinner St is ideal as it is only a few minutes walk to the harbour and all amenities.

It is well positioned within a few minutes walk of Whitby town centre, harbour and all amenities. The apartment's 2 attractive bay windows overlook Skinner St, which dates back to Victorian times, with its antiques shops, cafes, traditional baker's shop and a choice of public houses. One of Whitby's popular fish & chip shops is just round the corner in Silver St. From the old town of Whitby, 199 steps lead up to the parish church of St. Mary, churchyard on Whitby's East Cliff gave Bram Stoker the inspiration to write his world famous book, Dracula.

Fabulous, central, well equiped property!
Three generations of our family came to show the grandchildren a typical English seaside holiday and were not disappointed.
The property is central so we had a short walk to the beach or into town. The parking was easy to sort, the car was parked in the next street and we didn't need it.
The property is a good size and the novelty of a bay window to watch the world go by was entertainment itself! It had everything we needed and more. We even completed the 636piece Whitby jigsaw. The owners were at the end of the phone for any queries we had.
The grandchildren at 6 and 4 years old loved everything Whitby had to offer and it was a nostalgia trip for their Mum who last visited Whitby over 30 years ago!
We would love to return.

spacious apartment in good location
Four friends stayed at the apartment which was clean, spacious and in a great location in Whitby. It had everything we needed. The information and communication between us and the owners was excellent.
Bigger than expected
Brilliant location 10 min walk to the west cliff 15min walk to town there are even a few short cut alley ways if you like stairs to the iron bridge. The apartment was lovely and clean so much more bigger than we were expecting and really good value for money everything we needed was there cooker Hoover washing machine we will most definitely be staying there again it's beautiful.
Very well fitted out
Enjoyed the convenient location of the apartment, doing away with the need to use the car all the time. The parking was fine. The arrival details were very clear. There was everything we needed supplied in the apartment. A really nice stay, wish we had booked for an extra 2 nights
Lovely spacious apartment!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment which has everything you need for a break away. The apartment is in a perfect location for walking to the Whale Bone Arch, The Harbour, The Abbey and there are numerous shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Although it is in walking distance of the main attractions it was lovely and quiet. Would highly recommend this Apartment. We had fantastic weather too!
