Appartement de deux chambres doubles avec une fantastique terrasse sur le toit donnant sur Swing Brid

De la terrasse sur le toit, regardez la foule et aventurez-vous le soir pour vous promener le long de Church Street jusqu'aux célèbres marches de l'abbaye, ou jusqu'à Tate Sands, en contrebas de l'abbaye, où le navire de Dracula a fait naufrage. Lorsque la cloche sonne avec un verre pour regarder l'ouverture du pont et les yachts qui partent en mer et le pêcheur qui revient avec ses prises le soir. S'il y a un meilleur endroit à Whitby pour regarder le monde passer, je ne l'ai pas encore trouvé et je visite depuis plus de 50 ans!
Un appartement spacieux et lumineux avec des œuvres d'art sur les murs et une salle à manger / salon confortable. Désolé mais ne convient pas aux chiens. Les jeunes enfants devront être surveillés sur le toit-terrasse. Vous pouvez voir la vue sur le pont tournant de la terrasse sur le toit ici:

The best spot in Whitby!

We had a lovely time in Whitby, the flat was perfect and definitely in the best spot. Fantastic views from the roof terrace and the best bits of Whitby on your doorstep. Would recommend this place and would certainly stay again.

The flat was absolutely brilliant, the area it’s in was brilliant for our stay, unloading the car was easy the rooms where bright and very clean and it had everything you could possible need for a short stay.The stairs going up to the flat are quite brutal ( I’ve got a bad knee ) but it was outweighed by the veranda over looking the estuary.Will definitely be staying again and cannot recommend enough Mr Barrett

This property is wonderful, plenty of room and charm, right in the heart of Whitby, we were blessed with wonderful weather, and the terrace was amazing watching the boats come and go, we loved it and if ever in Whitby again would definitely choose to stay here, thank you John we will definitely be letting family and friends no about your beautiful apartment xx

Lovely base to explore Whitby

Perfect location, comfortable beds and furniture. Should make it clearer that no BBQs allowed on terrace before booking, or remove the pic of someone bbq'ing from images to avoid any misconceptions

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed your stay. Actually the photo you refer to is me serving kippers which were cooked under the grill in the kitchen, not bbq-ed outside. We cannot allow bbq's as twice people have set the decking on fire. However I take your point and will add the instruction " no bbqs" to the information I send.

Splendid location and a really nice flat

Literally right in the centre of Whitby. Comfortable flat with all you need for a pleasant stay. Weather wasn't quite good enough to enjoy the roof terrace but the views were fantastic.

Right in the hub of Whitby with great views !

Lovely terrace to watch sun go down. Comfortable apartment with homely feel. Surprisingly quiet - the street noise a surprise when you open front door.

Perfect flat at any time of year

We've just enjoyed our third stay at this flat. It is just so relaxing and comfortable yet Whitby is on the doorstep - it's fabulous. It's so easy to pop in and out in between seeing the sights, which are all close by, or sit on the terrace for the best of both worlds. Great.

Weekend in Whitby

The location was perfect and the roof terrace was great. The photographs don’t do it justice. It has two large double rooms and everything you need. It’s quirky and full of character. Hopefully, we’ll visit again soon.

Location is brilliant. Fully equipped kitchen. Shame TV still broken and would have been nice to have more than one hand towel.

Perfect location

On a sunny day, there isn’t a better place than the roof terrace to watch the world go by! A great location to explore the beauty of Whitby. Quirky apartment with everything you need 😊 (apart from towels… you need to take your own and I missed that in the booking confirmation!)

Whitby weekend

Property in excellent central location. Roof terrace was amazing, a real bonus. Everything very comfortable although front door & steps very pigeonified!!! But generally a great location, loved the views from the upstairs bedroom !!!!!

Thank you for your lovely review. The pigeons in the alley are an ongoing problem. We pay cleaners to regularly clean there, but its difficult to maintain in summer. We are pursuing alternatives such as netting. Once inside the flat though I think guests find everything clean and comfortable. Welcome back anytime!

Loved our stay.

Lovely 2 bedroom flat in a fabulous location. Plenty of room for four adults. Amazing roof top terrace with brilliant views. We had lovely weather and spent quite a few hours soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the views. Thank you to John for this little gem. Hopefully we will be returning in the near future.

excellent location

this property is located in centre of town easy access to both sides of town not to far from train station might be a problem for those with a car as there is no parking at place view of harbour is fantastic . only thing is take towels with you as they are not provided
