Una hermosa casa de 4 pisos ubicada entre un laberinto de pequeñas calles y edificios encalados. Con 2 terrazas en la azotea que gozan de sol durante todo el día y magníficas vistas al mar, es el lugar perfecto para relajarse. Buen humor garantizado desde el desayuno!
La casa está bien equipada y es muy acogedora, acogedora y espaciosa. Con 3 baños y habitaciones en 3 pisos, podrá acomodar fácilmente a 6 personas. Simpáticamente amueblado y lleno de características españolas, pisos de baldosas y escaleras en cada esquina, tiene un montón de carácter.
Ubicado en el centro del pueblo, la casa tiene fácil acceso al mercado interior, panaderías, estancos, supermercados y tiendas en general. La plaza principal está literalmente en la parte inferior de la calle con una gran cantidad de buenos restaurantes y bares a precios razonables.

Great house, great location

This is a lovely, well-equipped house in a convenient location for the bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and there is even a small second kitchen on the terrace with a sink, kettle and fridge which is very convenient and saves going up and down stairs for drinks, etc. We had a very enjoyable stay here.

Das Objekt ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, leider lief im unteren Schlafzimmer Wasser aus der Steckdose, wenn auf der Terrasse das Wasser genutzt wurde. Auch wäre es gut, wenn es eine genaue Beschreibung gegeben hätte, dass keine Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus sind. Die vielen Stufen im Haus müssten in der Beschreibung erwähnt werden und das ein Schlafzimmer schon sehr hellhörig ist. Die Nähe der Geschäfte und Restaurants war sehr gut.

Es ist überraschend, dass Ines das Haus als "ein bisschen alt" betrachten sollte, da es als traditionelles andalusisches Haus beworben wird und das ist sein Charme. Allerdings ist das Haus sehr komfortabel mit hochwertigen Möbeln eingerichtet, wenn auch im traditionellen, nicht modernen Stil. Darüber hinaus gibt es drei neue Badezimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit neuem Backofen und Herd, einen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach und eine Waschmaschine. Zusätzlich renovieren wir das Haus jedes Jahr, so dass es in ausgezeichnetem Zustand für die Gäste ist. Was die Wasserversorgung betrifft, so habe ich mir das Gehirn zugezogen, um zu verstehen, warum dies sein sollte, weil ich dieses Problem noch nie hatte. Ich habe die Reinigungskraft gefragt, und sie bestätigt, dass es kein Problem mit dem Wasser gibt. Ich frage mich auch, warum Sie das Problem nicht gemeldet haben, da mein Agent im Dorf jederzeit zur Verfügung steht, um probleme zu lösen, die auftreten. Was das Parken betrifft, so mache ich deutlich, dass das Parken in der Nähe von städtischen Parkplätzen liegt. Nirgendwo sage ich, dass man vor dem Haus parken kann. In Bezug auf die Stufen, ist dies ein vierstöckiges Haus, so gibt es unvermeidlich viele Treppen, aber die Treppenhäuser sind breit und sollte keine Schwierigkeiten für eine durchschnittlich fitte Person darstellen. Schließlich tut es mir leid, dass Sie das Schlafzimmer laut gefunden. Dies ist die erste Beschwerde dieser Art, die ich erhalten habe.

Séjour très agréable dans un village andaloux très attachant

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Torrox, un charmant village typique d'Andalousie à 5 km de la mer. La maison est charmante, très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Elle est très spacieuse avec son rez-de-chaussée et ses trois étages ce qui laisse à chacun une part d'intimité. Par contre, il ne faut pas avoir peur de grimper les étages ! La vue sur la mer est magnifique au niveau des deux terrasses. Bonne humeur garantie dès le petit déjeuner ! L'ambiance à Torrox est charmante et très conviviale. Nous avons eu l'honneur d'assister à la fête du village (procession de la vierge, danses andalouses..). Le village est plein de vie tout au long de la journée sans être bruyant et le petit magasin chinois au bas de la rue nous permet d'acheter pour deux sous tout type d'objet qu'on a oublié. Il y a de belles plages à Torrox et à Nerja avec une faune marine fantastique dans le parc naturel. La région est très bien desservie par les autoroutes (presque toutes gratuites !) nous permettant de rejoindre facilement Grenade, Ronda ou même Cadix. Elaine est charmante, elle répond très rapidement à vos questions et nous a fourni un document complet sur la propriété quelques jours avant notre séjour. Un très bon choix de propriété...

The Beautiful Torrox Pueblo

I booked a last minute holiday to this property with a plan for myself and my 2 teenage children to take a well deserved break from work and A Levels. Eager to experience true Spanish life in a typical hillside village we considered ourselves incredibly lucky to discover Elaine's beautiful 4 story house nestled amongst a labyrinth of tiny streets and whitewashed buildings. With 2 roof terraces benefitting from full sun all day long it was the perfect place to relax. The house is well equipped and is very welcoming, homely and spacious. With 3 bathrooms, and bedrooms on 3 floors it will easily accommodate 6 people. Sympathetically furnished and brimming with Spanish features, tiled floors and staircases round every corner, it has plenty of character. Centrally located within the village, it is easy to access the indoor market, bakers, tabacconist, supermarket and general stores. The main plaza is literally at the bottom of the street with good restaurants and bars which are very reasonable. We found a good outdoor market where we stocked up on fresh fruit and veg for the entire week (only on Mondays). Torrox Pueblo has an interesting history of its own and it's definitely worth taking off into the maze of streets/steps/pathways and allowing yourself to get lost within the beautifully painted walls and vibrant colours of the flowers and plants that grow in abundance in Torrox, 'The best Climate in Europe'. The coast is also worth exploring and if you don't have a car (you don't need one) the local buses run up and down from the coast regularly (but keep your eye on the time as the last buses in the week return at about 7pm) after that you will have to rely on taxis. For buses to and from Malaga airport, it would be worth checking times on the internet as we found the bus timetables could be incorrect/misleading. There is a laptop at the house for such things, although communicating with Elaine was easy and she was ever-helpful and quick to answer any queries via email. I have already recommended this property to several friends, although I would suggest it wasn't suitable for elderly people. Personally, I would return without question...for longer next time hopefully!

Town house in the sun

We have just spent a week in Elaine and Richards Wonderfully maintained and beautifully presented town house. The house has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounges, a large kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, a summer kitchen on the 2nd floor with a terrace, with table and chairs and on the 4th floor a further terrace with chairs and loungers. There are DVDs, books and games should they be needed and free wi fi. Richard met us on our arrival and helped us to settle in to the house. Torrox pueblo is a friendly spanish village with a square that's perfect for morning coffee, a beer, glass of wine, lunch or dinner. The Bus ride down to the costa is a euro each way, great towns and villages to visit within the area, or as we did enjoy the terrace at the house with the lovely views and just walking around the village. Our daughter and her friend travelled down with us (early twenties) and they absolutely loved it, we drove them to the beach in the morning and they caught the local bus back to the village in the afternoon, they were then off down to the village square for a glass of wine or sangria. They also sampled the night life in Nerja which they enjoyed, taxi back to the village cost them 15 euros. This was our second trip to Torrox and we look forward to returning later in the year

We are both retired now and live in London. We fell in love with Torrox Pueblo when visiting friends 15 years ago and we have very much enjoyed our holiday home.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Torrox boasts 'the best climate in Europe' and because the weather is so good we can enjoy the sunshine all the year round. We particularly like coming in the winter so that we can escape the dreary weather at home. We are keen walkers so the beauty and accessibility of the surrounding area has a great appeal for us. We both love swimming and the proximity of the beach and the new swimming pool in Torrox means we can swim all year round. We also love sitting in the village square drinking our coffee or enjoying a beer and a tapas.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The property is very conveniently situated in the centre of the village only 2 minutes walk from the main square with its shops, cafes and bars. It is also very conveniently situated for access to Malaga Airport (45 minutes by car). I don't drive but the bus service is very good and frequent (and cheap!). There is a bus direct from the village to Malaga (1.5 hours) and this is very useful for me.

The house itself is very large with a spacious feel. As each bedroom/bathroom occupies a separate floor, we do not feel overcrowded when we have guests and we love to entertain our friends in our lovely house.

There is no parking outside the house but there are two free municipal car parks close by.
