Dog friendly, family friendly, Spreacombe hosts wildlife, boasts relaxing peace and quiet but yet is only a few minutes drive from the surfing village of Croyde, the stunning Woolacombe beach and the extensive North Devon cliff paths. Perfect accommodation in a quiet area near to lots of attractions

The accommodation was compact but perfect for the 4 of us. It is in a lovely quiet location however is only a 10min drive from all the local attractions. Georgina was very helpful and responded to all messages promptly, she was also very knowledgeable of activities in the local area, recommending places to visit. Great location for a week away

Excellent place to stay.

We loved this cottage. The 4 of us stayed for a few days and it was bliss. Away from the huddle and bustle, but close enough to Putsborough and Croyde to drive to every day.

Short stay

We found Spreacombe Gardens by chance and are so glad we booked. A very peaceful location with good access to Woolacombe. Beds were really comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and living area was ample for 4 of us and the dog. Would definitely book again.

Quiet rural retreat

Small, well-equipped bungalow best suited to 2-3 adults or 2 adults + 2 small children. Only problem for us was the absence of decent wifi or mobile phone coverage. Nervous drivers may not enjoy the single track lanes with high hedges.

Great location, ideal for family

Bungalow was well equipped. Host was helpful with emails prior to arriving and popped round on first day to check all ok. Grounds are very nice and we enjoyed walk in meadow and wood. Children made friends with children staying in other bungalow and enjoyed playing on large shared lawn.

This is family run property in the middle of the Spreacombe Estate.

Georgina Dennis lives on the estate, in Spreacombe Manor, after having moved here in 2011 from the Midlands with her son and husband.

Norman and Diana Dennis are also on hand to answer any queries, they have been involved in the holiday business for a number of years.

Between us we enjoy maintaining the woodland paths, ponds and have a few sheep and hens on site.

Why they chose this property

My husband had always wanted to move back to Devon, his childhood home but work had moved us around the country.

In 2011 the timing was right and we moved to the peaceful, beautiful Spreacombe Valley. We have dogs that we enjoy walking and find it so special to be able to head to the beach for a few hours at the weekend.

What makes this property unique

Guests love coming here for the restful peace but enjoy the fact that they can easily get to the busier seaside villages if they choose.

Holidays here can be very active, guests walk around our Estate, cycle on the off road Tarka Trail or just head to the beach to read a book and sample the local cream teas.
