Conversion de chapelle spacieuse avec vue sur la mer dans un environnement sans circulation

High Chapel est une ancienne chapelle mĂ©thodiste rĂ©cemment convertie situĂ©e dans le parc national du North Yorkshire, au cƓur du joli village balnĂ©aire de Runswick Bay. Parmi ses nombreux atouts se trouve son environnement sans circulation, entourĂ© de sentiers menant au groupe de jolis cottages qui composent ce village balnĂ©aire unique. À l'avant de High Chapel se trouve un balcon surĂ©levĂ©, un jardin en dalles avec des bordures surĂ©levĂ©es avec vue sur la baie de Runswick jusqu'Ă  Kettleness Point et au-delĂ . des siĂšges de patio sont fournis permettant de dĂźner en plein air dans ce joli endroit tranquille et abritĂ©. La plage de sable est Ă  seulement 75 mĂštres. Le salon principal est spacieux avec un plafond cathĂ©drale double hauteur et une vue sur la mer depuis la porte et les fenĂȘtres. Hors du salon est la cuisine ouverte contemporaine de haute spĂ©cification permettant la libre circulation des conversations entre les chambres. Au rez-de-chaussĂ©e se trouvent Ă©galement la buanderie et la salle de bain. Au premier Ă©tage, un escalier en chĂȘne et en verre et un balcon sur le salon avec 2 chambres offrant un lit king-size dans un et des lits jumeaux dans la deuxiĂšme chambre avec des lits coulissants en dessous.

Stunning seaside stay

We loved everything about our stay. We’ve stayed in several different Runswick cottages over the years and this was a firm favourite. Beautiful open space downstairs, comfy beds and a great shower! Runswick bay is such a special place, thank you for helping us to make more very happy memories here.

High Chapel is an ideal seaside holiday cottage with a great view. It had everything we needed and the beds were especially comfortable. The kitchen is really well equipped too. It was quite chilly though without the log burner. Our only problem was having to clean the shower head which was rather mouldy. That said, I wish I had found this when my children were little, they would have loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at High Chapel. The house was charming and full of character, tastefully converted into a comfortable residence, keeping some of the chapels original features. The kitchen had everything we needed and a good sized ground floor bathroom.The beds were very comfortable with quality bedding, clean, crisp and hotel style.Runswick Bay was soooo peaceful and beautiful with amazing coastal walks! Great, detailed communication from Phil helping to make our stay run smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing break

A lovely conversion that is clean and well equipped. Perfect location. Food and drinks with a beautiful view in the local pub. Runswick is a beautiful village. We enjoyed many walks along the beach and a longer walk to Staithes. We will definitely return!

Fab property gorg location, needs a deep clean

Fabulous property, gorgeous location let down by lack of cleanliness. The flĂČors were not cleaned, the toilet was dirty and general levels of cleanliness were poor. We slept in the beds in the triple room as double room bed was uncomfortable, needs new mattress or topper I think.

A home with character

We had a very enjoyable stay at High Chapel. Everything we needed was there. A comfy cottage. Very comfortable beds and an amazingly powerful shower. We have returned home completely stress free. Runswick Bay as beautiful as ever.

My teenage son and myself had a wonderful mother/son bonding few days in this charming little chapel. I have often been to Runswick bay, but always wanted to stay. The chapel did not disappoint. The log burner kept us nice and toasty, the views and the walks were wonderful. Thank you, we would definitely recommend.

A wonderful few days in an amazing building in an outstanding location.

Took a few days out for some rest and relaxation. Couldn’t have expected more. A superb property in an idyllic village on the coast of North Yorkshire. Timed perfectly with the weather, I couldn’t recommend it any higher.

Calm and relaxing

We have had a lovely week staying at High Chapel... a unique (in my opinion) Chapel conversion... we particularly enjoyed the log burner giving a very cosy feeling, bedrooms were warm and spacious and more important very comfy beds... Runswick Bay is very picturesque and beautiful, I particularly enjoyed the cliff walks which were easy to follow. Phil, the owner, was very helpful prior to our stay and quick to respond with any queries, I would definitely recommend High Chapel for a relax and rewind

Amazing little property and village

We stayed at High Chapel for a long weekend with my Family. Archie 8, Myles 5, Billy 3months. This was such a lovely cottage, so relaxing, well kept, clean, Characteristic and in a great location. Just what we needed. We would 100% love to stay here again. Thank you so much.

We purchased High Chapel in 2003 as a closed Methodist chapel and set about carefully and tastefully converting the chapel to a practical family holiday home for ourselves and our two daughters. We regularly use High Chapel ourselves and have been renting the cottage for about 4 years now.
We never tire of visiting High Chapel and use it as a tranquil resting place from our hectic lives in the Midlands.
Having said that, we love to sail and swim in the bay and regularly run the coastal path to either staithes or Sandsend as part of our regular fitness training for athletics and triathlon events!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We love the uniqueness of Runswick Bay with its traffic free environment surrounded by quaint cottages. The views across the Bay from the chapel are totally relaxing and the morning walk along the beach is just so refreshing.
There are fantastic walks from the chapel or a short car journey to Whitby provides ample retail therapy when required!
Runswick Bay is a quiet and peaceful location most of the year and the chapel compliments this with it own unique atmosphere.

High Chapel is spacious and characterful for entertaining friends or family and the availability of free WiFi ensures contact with the outside world if and when required. The fixtures and fittings are all of a high standard and the log burning stove and underfloor heating provides ample heating and atmosphere for warm and cosy evenings in.
