Perfect for one or two persons (+ a child under 2 years in a travel cot), our smallest Casita Almendra comes with all the home comforts & simple pleasures of our larger Casitas, that complete a holiday. Please note that although our cancellation policy is strict, we always re-advertise any cancelled dates regardless of the reason in order to then refund any (net) payment received for the re-booking of any dates.
The traditional design of the Casita is open-plan to offer the maximum space and light, full of character with high wooden ceilings, tiled floors and an open-plan living area - well furnished with modern fittings such as free Wifi, safe, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and smart TV, as well as home comforts for cooler evenings including a squishy sofa, board games & books as well as woodburning stove with seasoned firewood (mid Dec-end of March). There is a queen (150cm) double bed with completely separate, private en-suite bathroom, while the fully fitted kitchen has granite worktops, gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave & wooden dining table seating 2/3. The sitting room area has a comfortable sofa, wood burning stove & French doors leading straight out onto the stone patio.
Outside, the private West facing stone patio offers a shaded pergola with sunbeds, BBQ & alfresco dining for two - while to the side there is a lawned private garden area with wooden swing chair under a shady tree for lazing away. The Casitas 5m x 10m swimming pool is set in the gardens with a large sun terrace and pool house with bathroom/changing room, surrounded by colourful and fragrant climbers.
Our prices include complimentary children items, Wifi, all utilities, a shared Casitas laundry room, daily caretaker who will also clean the pools, secure private parking and the final property clean on departure - while the price for a two week booking also includes a light general clean on the middle Saturday morning, with a full change of cotton bedlinen and bathroom towels (& firewood in Winter). A bilingual childminder and arrival shopping service and bike hire including delivery/collection are also available on request.
El Sueño Finca is a relaxed & mellow retreat in a peaceful rural location, the antithesis to a managed holiday resort. Tucked within organic laid-back grounds including a Bees & Butterfly Garden, there are just five individual country houses sleeping one to eight persons - offering guests a choice of individual accommodation for couples, families and friends as well as larger groups. Our two bedroom Casita Mimosa is particularly suitable for those with mobility/wheelchair requirements, although both our three bedroom Casitas are also popular. The four Casitas (cottages) each have their own private shaded patio & garden, sharing a swimming pool safely fenced for little ones & two play areas for children set in the central gardens - while the spacious and private Cortijo (farmhouse) with four en-suite bedrooms has its own swimming pool and set apart from the Casitas, so perfect for families and friends to share or a base for larger groups up to 16 guests.
Just minutes away are miles of glorious beaches, delicious restaurants & tapas bars to suit all tastes either in town, beside the sea or tucked in away in rural settings, along with a wealth of shops & markets, stunning nature reserves & a range of activities from wildlife tours, cycling, surfing, horseriding to whale watching for all ages. Dehesa Montenmedio just 500m away with its renowned NMAC art centre, acres of natural deer park, 18 hole golf course and international annual equestrian Sunshine Tour, while within easy reach for a day trip are many of the historical and cultural gems of Bolonia, Cadiz, Seville & even Morocco to explore.
