There is no other neighborhood like Anglers Reef in Islamorada. It's beautiful Key West style pastel colored homes inside resort community, with garden like flora and fauna such as bougainvillea meticulously maintained, with a fantastic oceanfront swimming pool and boat docks and views over the Atlantic Ocean that will take your breath away. Just minutes from many local shops, bars and restaurants. Access to the ocean does not get any easier than at Anglers Reef. When we first found Anglers Reef on vacation ten years ago we were sold and never went anywhere else.
" The Yellow Tail House":
There Are 52 Homes at Angler's Reef With Only 36 Boat Slips. Our home has the option for you to bring your own boat and use the dock (additional cost) . It is a Safe, Gated Community with very little traffic, truly an oasis. Enjoy coffee or cocktail on one of four porches, (each bedroom upstairs has its own balcony and bathroom).
You will tell you are someplace special when you see our 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom house, surrounded by wonderful landscaping, amazing palms, bougainvillea, and some of the most colorful tropical foliage that only the tropical Florida Keys can offer. (have 2 houses one next door to this one, so plan your family event and both)

Yellow Tail's first floor offers a spacious, wide open layout with an over-sized sectional couch. Granite counter tops, all updated appliances, kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, utensils plates, a Keurig Coffee Pot! & everything you will need to prepare anything. Stay entertained during your downtime by watching your programming of choice on any of the home’s 3 flat screen TVs with HULU and a Netflix Subscription, or surf the web via the complimentary wireless internet access. We also offer two bikes and community Paddle Boards and Kayaks that you are available for you to ride.
The second floor offers a spacious Primary Bedroom with comfortable King size bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is a balcony and a television for you to enjoy.
Full size washer and dryer is in the hallway for your convenience.
The Guest bedroom has a brand new Queen over King BunkBed with new comfy mattresses (Jan 2024). This room also has an en-suite bathroom with bath tub and a TV and balcony.

Children of all ages will love the pool and the fact that there is no road traffic, and the geckos will keep young kids entertained for hours!

Throughout your visit, you and your companions will get to enjoy outstanding recreational facilities at Angler’s Reef. These community amenities include a heated swimming pool with outdoor bathrooms, chaise lounge chairs and tables overlooking the breathtaking blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean, and boat slips available for rent. Look forward to soaking up the sun at either of the 2 private beaches, located just a few short steps away from every home that flank the marina. Also the world famous Islamorada "sandbar" and Alligator Reef are a short boat ride from the opening of the channel.
Next door is the "Blue Marlin" House. For large parties or families both can be rented together, their layout is identical and both share high end furnishings.

A dock is available also for an additional cost

Please note, as of Aug 1, 2024. you will no longer be able to store a trailer outside the gate on the grass any longer. Trailers fitting under the carport are able to be stored there. Otherwise, we can recommend local storage lots you can contact.

Beautiful Angler’s Reef Accommodations

We very much enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in Angler’s reef over 15 times and love the big queen over king bunk bead in guest room. Unit was well stocked and clean and tidy! Jennifer is a pleasure to work with and we would definitely stay in this unit again!

Fun family vacation

Our family stayed here at Anglers Reef and absolutely loved it! The house was very clean, comfortable and well appointed and the entire community was fantastic and so picturesque with something to offer everyone. We loved being able to go fishing or paddle boarding whenever we wanted and the pool area was beautiful and inviting. Perfect location for a relaxing family vacation where we made some unforgettable memories!

Great house with plenty of room and well stocked all around. Loved that the neighborhood offered SUPs and kayaks. The bikes were a great addition as well. We were close to everything we wanted. We will be back again.

Awesome Family Trip!

We were celebrating my son’s graduation from high school. He wanted to go to Islamorada for the fishing. We had a great time and loved the location! We enjoyed the pool and watching the boats come in from fishing in the evening. The unit was perfect for our family of five.

Family break to Islamorada

Firstly a beautiful island (our favourite in all the Keys) within an easy drive from Miami. The resort itself is idyllic - quite, calm and relaxing. The pool area overlooks the ocean and is a great place spend time. The villa was beautiful and clean as described in the listing. There was space for us to come together as a family as well as separate when the teenagers needed their space. I would fully recommend to anyone looking for their next location in the Florida Keys.

This is a beautiful property and a great place to spend time in Islamorada. The home is beautifully furnished and clean and has update appliances. There are TVs in every room. The back porch is a nice place to sit and have your morning coffee. The facility as a whole is great with a very nice pool and boat slips if you wish to bring your boat. Great restaurants are all around and activities nearby. Thanks for a great week.

Christmas Week in Islamorada was great !

Very easy, clean rental transaction. This rental did not disappoint. All that was promised was delivered. Pool access, gated community, location to restaurants and activities all a big plus. Stay was for 3 people but this rental could easily sleep 6-10. Kayaks and Paddle Boards were a plus. JH and LW

Property was exactly as described and shown in the photos as well as extremely clean. It was a fabulous, large property and accommodated our family well. It was quiet ( even during the time between Christmas and Nee Year’s) . The pool and property was fantastic as were the amenities. - Jennifer Miller property manager was extremely responsive- typically received a response to any questions via text within 10 minutes. Looking forward to returning soon.

What an awesome vacation my family and I had. Thank you so much for your hospitality. The house was exactly as described and was super clean. We had everything we needed and then some. The communication with the property manager was prompt and professional. They even had a concierge service available to book a fishing charter and a swim with the dolphin excursion for us and had groceries waiting for us upon arrival (we had requested). I highly recommend this vacation rental and would love to come back. I found out that the same owner bought the house next door, so next year we are planning a family vacation and having my brothers family join us, so we can be right next to each other.

Fabulous neighborhood, wonderful week

My husband and two teens and I loved our stay here and would come back. The neighborhood is wonderful, with a beautiful pool, docks, and a beach. We hung out by the pool and beach daily and my son fished much of the time. There were a lot of kids staying in the gated community and every night they all ran around the whole neighborhood, playing "manhunt" and catching critters off the docks. The house was clean and well-equipped. We really enjoyed the bikes and kayaks, especially paddling out to the sandbar. Some previous guests commented about the street noise, which is on the side of the master bedroom, but it didn't bother us as we use a white noise machine. Thanks for a great week!

Perfect Family Spot

This is our 4th time staying in Angler's Reef but the 1st time staying at this house. We loved it! Very roomy for our family of 4. Clean with everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Full size washer & dryer on the 2nd floor was great so we didn't come home with a bunch of dirty laundry. Others mentioned the road noise due to the property backing up to the road, but the bedrooms contained a white noise machine which was perfect, and honestly, at night there was not much noise from the road. The pool area was great for relaxing & catching some rays. We didn't take advantage of using the paddle boards or kayaks, but they were there for our use. Publix is close by for everything you may need, and of course plenty of wonderful restaurants close by. Completely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

Lovely Community

We loved our month long stay at Anglers Reef. The pool is always warm and pristine. The owners however, need to purchase more lounge chairs because sometimes there was no place to sit. The small beaches were restful places to watch the sunset, and having access to paddle boards and kayaks was a nice perk. It is a quiet retreat for anyone looking for a restful vacation. We were impressed by how clean our rental house was, and we enjoyed our home away from home. Our king size bed was very comfortable, and we had been warned that the back of the house would have road noise from busy highway one. I would recommend a good sound machine to help with that issue. The master bath was a nice size and there was plenty of storage in closet and dressers. Anyone with physical difficulties should be aware that the stairway to the upper level is somewhat of a steep stairway. We are in late 60’s and had no issues.

Once we stayed in Islamorada it became our favorite place in the keys and we started coming down here exclusively. One year we rented in Anglers Reef and that was it, we didn't go anywhere else from then on. We have five kids and nine grand-kids. We run an Equipment Rental business in Ohio, Alan is an avid fisherman and fishes Lake Erie in the summer and we both like being by the water. We are from Medina, Ohio.
Jennifer Miller is a real estate agent in Islamorada Florida. She has many years experience in selling and managing property in the Florida Keys. Jennifer is the property manager and will make sure you have everything you need to make your trip perfect. We love the layout of this unit, it gives you plenty of space to all sit down together and socialize but with four balconies you can always sneak away and read a book or just relax. The bedrooms are good size with vaulted ceilings and each comes with its own bathroom, a two suite configuration. The kitchen is nice size and gives you plenty of counter space to sit and or serve food or you can use the dining table and chairs. We like the fact that there is almost no traffic within the gate and feel comfortable letting our grand kids have a little freedom.
Founders park is 2 miles north and offers a large playground, a big beautiful beach, Olympic sized pool with diving boards, toddle water park and public boat ramps. There are also many restaurants near Anglers Reef and a couple larger marinas where you can get a fishing charter or just go watch the boats come in and show off their catch.
Anne's beach is at mile marker 73 and is a nice beach to hang out and have a picnic.

What makes this property unique

Islamorada is the 'The Fishing Capital of the World' Great fishing in the gulf or ocean side. There are plenty of guides you can hook up with, as well as 'head boats/party boats) where you can walk on for a reasonable cost and fish the reef (just a few miles offshore). Bring your own boat or charter with a guide (dock is an additional fee) .Try your luck fishing right out front for Bonefish, Permit & Barracuda on the flats. Or check out the mangroves for Snapper and Snook or off reef for Mahi Mahi, Swordfish or Grouper. Enjoy the views of the blue waters; swim in the large heated pool or just relax in the surrounding lush garden area overlooking the Atlantic; take a quiet stroll through the complex; take in some sun on the private beach. Restaurants: a short walk north is Hog Heaven (a night spot) and the Island Grill; a few miles south is upscale Pierre's on the Gulf and the more casual Islamorada Fish Company next door (both are next to Worldwide Sportsman (quite an attraction) for fishing tackle, clothing, and a large indoor aquarium); also a few miles south is Holiday Isle, the Green Turtle Inn & many more eateries. Some other favorites are Ziggys and Maddogs, Morada Bay, Marker 88 and the famous Cheeca Lodge.Attractions: Theater of the Sea is walking distance about 1/2 mile south, where you can see a Dolphin Show and even have a Sea Lion encounter. Founders Park is less than two miles north. Feed the Tarpon at Robbies, Boat and Wave Runners rentals within walking distance.
Also Theater of the Seas is right up the road and offers DOLPHIN SWIMS and sea lion shows and more. It is a must see attraction and if you do want to swim with the Dolphins make reservations as far in advance as you can.
