Great location!! Very easy to park boat and trailers in the yard for charging batteries etc!! We will definitely be back to this location again,, great place to stay with lots of amenities and nice kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood and you can definitely unwind on the nice dock there.
I book this place for my daughters wedding in kingstree SC. My family including my 83 yr old grandmother absolutely adored the home and location so much we plan to book again soon. My grandma told all her church ladies and they haven't stopped asking me for the address. The owner of the property was super nice and inviting. The scene from the upstairs kitchen window was the best. It's the perfect cozy getaway. We will return in the future, this time with a less busy schedule
It’s always a grind to find an affordable place to stay that accommodates parking for trucks and boats. This is the place you want. Beautiful waterfront property. Outside power. Great place
The property was clean and comfortable. The owner ensured our group was taken care of during our stay and was very accommodating. We had a group of 5 and there was plenty of space for all of us. Parking was easy even with us having 3 large trucks and 2 Bass Boats. I would recommend this property to any angler looking for a place to stay on the water.
The location of the property is great and the house was roomy and perfect for our family. However, there were lots of bugs in the house which needs to be treated. We checked in on Tuesday and Wednesday the air upstairs stopped working. There were 3 window units but they were not able to keep up with the outside temp. The upstairs remained at 80 degrees the entire time with window units constantly running along with all ceiling fans. I called the owner on Wednesday to let him know that ceiling was leaking upstairs to the point that we had to find several trash cans to catch water. He told me that he was aware of the problem and we needed to cut that upstairs unit off. He said that he would call ac repair but noone ever showed up. The kitchen is upstairs so it was hot for cooking and eating the entire time. The shower downstairs is extrememly small so most of the family took their showers upstairs and we had to bathe all the children upstairs because that was the only tub. The location was perfect but we were very disappointed in the money we spent to stay there and no decent air for the entire stay. The owner was aware of the ac problems and did not mention to us before our stay. We would have definitely cancelled and booked somewhere else because we have small babies and we had to keep them in diapers most of the time because of the heat inside while eating and cooking. I feel like we should definitely get a partial refund.
My stay was great. Beautiful area, house on the lake, great to fish, house was clean, neighbors was nice. Management was very communicative with any questions. Just a nice Beautiful all around trip. I will complain about the rain but because the house and area was so nice i was able to relax. Rest needed.
Fishing was great, the house made it super convenient to Taw Caw for Fuel and Goat Island restaurant for dinner. Made fishing the upper lake a quick ride from the house. Nice boat dock, with sea wall and boat landing areas. Two story house had everything a serious fisherman needs. I will be Booking again, more than once a year! Thanks
We had a fun stay at the house on the lake. The setting and scenery were wonderful.. The drive to get to things was a bit far, so I would suggest stocking up at a supermarket before you head over to the lake...
We rented this house for our daughter’s bridal party to get ready for the wedding. The yard and dock were perfect!! So was the natural lighting in the dining room. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials and very clean appliances!

Lake house getaway
The property was a little more rustic than O expected but was fairly clean. If I were to rent it again, I would make sure to take my own towels, toilet tissue and paper towels. View was fantastic. House is easy to find and great access to fishing and golf. 3 stars out of 5.
