Why Rae Grout chose Corvallis
Sage Cottage is on the property that was once part of a 100-year-old farm and still holds the peace and tranquility of a sanctuary. You won’t hear highway traffic but may hear elk beguiling in the early morning hours, coyotes howling, owls, pheasants, and songbirds. The adjacent field has Black Angus cattle in the winter and is hayed in the summer so sometimes you may hear cows mooing or tractors working the field. The 360-degree views are breathtaking. The cottage is located in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley close to Hamilton Montana, hiking/biking trails scenic driving and lots of rivers and mountains. The Bitterroot River has over 100 miles of Blue-Ribbon trout water, great for fly fishing. The night sky for stargazing is brilliant, Bill has a couple of telescopes set up for astrophotography from our backyard.
