Our family owns some self-catering apartments in a recently renovated historic building from the 1800s. The building is located in Ortigia, the island and historic center of Syracuse, a few steps from the sea and the main monuments of the city, in a quiet and peaceful area. The building is equipped with a modern lift and Internet connection (wi fi) as well as air conditioning / heating and every comfort.

Absolute Gem

A very clean, well equipped, comfortable and tastefully furnished apartment in a beautifully restored building, in a quiet area situate in the heart of Ortigia. Luca's hospitality was exceptional providing maps, guides, and recommendations on bars, restaurants and shopping. A mine of information regarding all aspects of Ortigia. A kind, helpful and considerate host who went above and beyond expectations when accommodating our needs for and unplanned further week (due to our flights being cancelled twice as a result of a fire at Catania Airport). Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our time experiencing the wonderful architecture, history and warm welcome of Ortigia. I would not hesitate in recommending in this apartment to anyone wishing to have a truly authentic experience of Ortigia. A huge thank you to Luca and his parents. Sue and Pete

Lovely apartment - Great Location

We loved our time in Ortigia. The apartment was charming - we particularly enjoyed the terrace sitting out there in the evening with a glass of wine. The location is great too - minutes from all the fabulous sights and restaurants of Ortigia - not to mention the town beach yards from the door with some excellent snorkeling. Luca the host was lovely too - really helpful with plenty of tips for our stay. He also helped to arrange some parking in a nearby garage for us - which worked really well and took away all the stress of finding a space!

A really lovely apartment, very well furnished and equipped and ideally located

Very good space, light and well air conditioned. Also luxurious with two bathrooms, as well as a comfortable bed, good kitchen and everything you would need. Well situated in Siracusa’s beautiful old town, Ortigia, near to Piazza del Duomo, the Giudecca, amazing restaurants and a little town beach. A free laundry room in the building went above and beyond the usual offering by holiday lets. The apartment also has its own beautiful small terrace with wonderful views of the sea, Plemmirio and the Cava Grande mountains. We watched the sun setting from there every evening. Finally, Luca the host was extremely attentive and kind, always available to help should anything be needed. We had a marvellous time and will be returning. I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to everyone.

gut wohnen im Herzen von Ortigia

wir haben uns in der geräumigen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse haben wir sehr genossen. Auf die umfangreichen Tipps von Gastgeber Luca -Restaurants und Ausflugsziele - kann man sich voll verlassen. Umgeben von unzähligen wunderbaren Lokalen, auf beiden Seiten das Meer (von der Terrasse sieht man es!), vielleicht 200m zum kleinen Stadtsandstrand, Kirchen und Pallazzi, dass die Augen kaum mitkommen - für einen erholsamen und abwechslungsreichen Urlaub kann ich diese Wochnung wirklich empfehlen.

Great stay in Ortigia

We found a well-equipped and delightful clean, spacious flat in the heart of Ortigia, the old town of Siracusa. Everything you needed was there including air conditioning (if you're used to colder weather) and internet access. Although the apartment is close to the sea, the main piazza of Ortigia and many restaurants, the area was quiet and safe - and very picturesque. Luca was fantastically helpful, providing maps, recommendations and tons of local knowledge. Thanks again for all your help. Siracusa is within reach of the baroque towns of southern Sicily reachable by train, bus or car. There is a large car park to the north of the apartment and its probably easiest to park there. We can only really recommend this accomodation and hope to come back again one day! All the best,
