Well-located in city and good access to Metro. Though wkend nights very loud music until late (4 a.m.). Apt. could use some upkeep--toilet seat loose, doorknobs loose, etc. 6 flights of stairs and no elevator--listing should point this out! Worked out but could have been even better.

Overall it was a great location. Parking was always an issue. And as we are in our Sixties, the 6 stories of Stairs got to be a little much.

Very good location. 100 m to the entrance of Christiania. The very personalised apartment (a lot of art) is bright and heats up quickly by the sunlight. However, 90 steps are a small challenge. Communication with the owner was uncomplicated.

Perfect place and perfect location in Copenhagen

Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the Theater, Opera House, and great cafes and restaurants. Near public transit, too!

Great location for city adventures

Owner is an excellent host. The property is near a scenic canal and within easy walking distance to the metro, Nyhavn (with many great restaurants and shops), and the Christiania area. The owner is a working artist and the property reflects his unique style. Potential renters should note that the property is on the fifth floor and there is no elevator.

Good way to be close to attractions with still getting a local feel

The location was close to so many things like restaurants and tourist sites, yet the location was quiet and you felt like part of the neighborhood. Ulrik was very responsive anytime we had a question. We were really pleased with our stay and would visit again.

Excellent location, well equipped. Lots of stairs, but also a bit of a view.

We mostly ate at many of the nearby restaurants. Great walking location and proximity to theaters and food. Be ready to climb stairs.

Very clean in an excellent location

The owner was very responsive and gave great detailed directions for getting into the apartment and recommendations for dinner. It was very clean and the location could not be beat. It's on the 5th floor, but that way you work off some of the beer you drink overlooking the canals.

Perfect location for a Copenhagen trip

A nice appartment in Copenhagen, optimal for a sightseeing trip. Its silent, but in the 5th floor - a lot of staircases :-). Connection to public traffic is nearly optimal. So enjoy !

Nice stay in Copenhagen

My husband and I enjoyed the property. The neighborhood was nice. And it was easy to get to and from. We found the food in Christiana to be some of our favorite. There are many stairs so pack accordingly. The bed was small so prepare to cuddle. Over all a really pleasant stay.

Cute apt in quiet residential area near christiania

Cute apt for one or two near Christian’s. Short walk to canals, Nyhavn, Kongens Nytorv square. and subways. Easy bus ride to train station. Apt was warm and dry in cold winter weather small, but had everything we needed. TV, internet, kitchen, etc. 😊

Hygge

It was our second time at Ulrik's. He is a wonderful host and, once again, we felt at home, like we were visiting an old friend's home. Ulrik's place is very comfortable and cozy. It is also centric. The metro station is just a few minutes away. If you like walking, you do not really need public transportation and you will be able to enjoy the beautiful city. My wife and I will be coming back.

Hidden gem near Nyhavn

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Ulrik’s apartment! We enjoyed having access to the kitchen and washing machine. The apartment is just a 10 minute walk from Nyhavn and there is a nearby bus that takes you to many locations of interest around the city. We also enjoyed breakfast at the Parterre cafĂ© on the corner. The 6 flights of stairs were no joke, but we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! We would definitely rent this place again if we return to KĂžbenhavn.

Charming apartment

This is a charming apartment with a lot of art on the walls. The kitchen is fully equipped for nearly all needs (the only thing that we missed was a tea pot) and the living room is quite large. Since it is directly under the roof, it might at times get a bit hot, but there is always a cool breeze from the sea, so it is no problem to get fresh, cool air into the flat. Beware: There are a lot of steps from the street up to the flat, so perhaps for elderly people this might be a challenge. Communication with landlord is easy and reliable. We enjoyed our visit immensly.
