Loved everything about it
Such a nice place. Everything you need is provided. Clean and cozy. We really recommend this place.
Close to town
Close to town, about 1/2 mile. We rode our bikes in & explored the downtown & the beach. Walked to brewery for dinner. Burger joint across the street. Backyard is beautiful & wooded, enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evenings.
Drawback is that the house is located on a busy road, lots of traffic noise.

This house made me feel like I was on vacation, not just in a rental house. House was clean and comfy with cool surf décor. Best part about house was that it was walking distance to all bars and restaurants. We loved New Buffalo.

Worn out
This was a great location as listed, and the owner was very kind and helpful, but the place is just so worn out. Bedrooms seem to be partitions created to provide more beds, regardless of location. The stairs were so steep, the bottom one needed a step platform. The dishes were kept on an open shelf in the closet with the vacuum and brooms. Furniture was well worn, but not comfortable. We weren’t there long, so it served its purpose, but for a family to stay for a week would be unpleasant. Sorry. It reminded us of a college frat house.

This property was purchased for the purpose of deigning a surf house in the New Buffalo, Michigan. Surf houses like Auggie's Surf House exist all up the East Coast, California Coast, Hawaii, and Australia. But there wasn't one in the Third Coast. I wanted to give my customers a real surfing experience whether they surf or simply enjoy the surf and beach decor.

This property is unique in that it is in town yet offers private woods in the back. It is a large property equipped with an outdoor shower - large deck - fire pit. The inside is decorated for beach and surfing enthusiasts. Sure anyone can rent a house by a beach. This house was designed to give the customer a beach house and more. What's also great about this property is that you can drive up and park your car and leave it until it's time to leave New Buffalo. Walk to beach during day with provided surf boards and boogie boards. Stop by Third Coast Surf Shop and pick up some surf apparel. Hang out at the surf house after. Do some grilling on the deck. Then, at night, head out on foot to popular places like Redamacks, Stray Dog, and Buffalo Bills Bar-B-Q and more.
