THE SPACE

Bound by the illustrious Tuscan countryside lies this charming villa.

Only a 3 KM walk from the closest village, it’s antique artisan tilework, stylish international decor from 3 continents and picturesque views allow you to experience Tuscan life the way it’s meant to be.

Equipped with 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms (including 1 in the guesthouse) and 3 bathrooms, 6 guests can comfortably enjoy the peacefulness of this villa escape.

Upon arrival, enjoy a true Tuscan snack including a bottle of wine, artisan bread, and some prosciutto or salami while you are greeted by your hosts.

OUTDOOR AREA & POOL

Pictures cannot truly capture the beauty that is The Rocchetto Villa. The upper terrace holds the main villa, the annex, and a vine covered pergola where you can dine with an incredible view of the countryside. Step down to the lower terrace to relax on the lounge chairs, or take a dip in the immense pool while enjoying a completely unobstructed view of the peaceful rolling hills of Tuscany.

Take a short walk to the famous medieval town of Lucignano, where you can shop and dine within a conserved, ancient town setting. Several other towns such as Arezzo and Montepulciano are only a short, scenic drive away. If a retreat within nature is what you desire, several hiking routes will provide you with a beautiful, rural Tuscan hike experience.

LIVING AREA & KITCHEN:

Featuring an authentic local design, the kitchen spans most of the ground floor. Highlighted by a Tuscan farm table which can comfortably seat 6 people, the kitchen features top of the line appliances, including a fridge and freezer (with ice maker), dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven and coffee machine. Windows and doors are located on 3 sides of the room allowing the beautiful surroundings to pour into the kitchen.

Next to the kitchen, the cozy living space is an inviting place to enjoy a nice bottle of wine and relax in the comfortable sofa chairs by the fireplace.

Accessible by an outdoor staircase under the Loggia, enter into a second living area with tiled floors and cozy loveseats. The living area leads into two bedrooms that are both equipped with private ensuite bathrooms and plenty of windows which fill the rooms with morning sunlight.

Leaving the second floor of the villa, take a few steps to the guesthouse. The interior features a canopied king sized bed, a private ensuite bathroom and a private terrace for a more intimate setting.

Upon request, a private chef can do all the cooking for you (extra fees apply).

BEDROOMS

MASTER SUITE (1)

On the second floor of the villa, the spacious Master suite is equipped with a King bed, large windows and a private ensuite bathroom.

TWIN SUITE (1)

The second and final bedroom on the upper level features two twin beds with iron canopies. Large windows allow a picturesque view of the countryside.

A private, ensuite bathroom is situated next to the suite.

ANNEX SUITE (1)

Only steps from main villa, the spacious Annex suite features a beautiful canopied King bed, private ensuite bathroom and French doors opening onto a private patio.

MUST DO ACTIVITIES:

- The nearest village is the medieval hilltop Lucignano, famous for its elliptic walls. Here you will find grocery stores, cafés, newsstands, banks and simple trattorias. A detailed list of restaurants recommended in the vicinity can be found in the farmhouse.

- But you will not want to miss the surrounding villages such as Monte San Savino, Foiano, Sinalunga and Castiglion Fiorentino as well as the medieval hamlet of Gargonza, all of which will conform in their picturesque perfection to everyone’s dream of a hilltop Tuscan village.

- Arezzo is the next largish town. You will not want to miss the frescoes by Piero della Francesca in the Basilica San Francesco. If you are at Le Rocchette on the first week-end of the month, you might also want to visit the antique market on the main square.

- Florence and Siena, Tuscany’s most important cultural milestones, are easy to reach from Le Rocchette.

- Fashion addicts can splurge out at the famous Prada factory outlet, which lies on to road to Florence.

- Two excellent SPAs can be found in the Rapolano Terme thermal resort (18 km from Le Rocchette).
