We had an enjoyable experience staying at the townhouse. It was clean, comfortable, and the lake view couldn’t be beat. I wish we’d stayed longer. Thanks.
Wonderful, spacious property for our family of four, right on the water and lots of amenities close by to keep everyone entertained - swimming, mini golf, dining, live music, spa, etc. Quiet street was a plus. The owners were very responsive and thought of everything to make this an easy and enjoyable getaway.
We had a fabulous time! We loved spending time out on the deck over looking the water. Having access to the resorts amenities was definitely a plus. Kitchen was well stocked. Hosts were very responsive to inquires. Only thing I would point out is that the 3rd bedroom (bunkroom) is on the 3rd level and the stairs to get up the last level are quite steep. We had two able body adults up there & managed fine, but they are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
We had a great stay! The place was very clean and just as described! We loved the two decks and being in Horseshoe Bay Resort was fantastic! Ken and Suzanne were so easy to communicate with and were great hosts! We would 100% book again!!
This property makes me want a lake condo! It was perfectly put together have everything we need. Love the awesome easy access to the dock. Was able to tie our boat up. Had the best time.
Everything was perfect. I have been to Horshoe Bay many times and this experience was the best. Super convenient and the hosts have a list of alot of good things to do!
Excellent location & clean rooms and townhouse! Owners were wonderful and quick to respond and check in to make sure we had all we needed.Home was clean and well stocked with towels, linens and kitchen needs. Prime location on the lake with quick access to all things water.Note that the bunk beds are located on the third floor which is a renovated attic space with small ladder steps access, a little unorthodox and at times a little harder to keep cool …there is a 1/2 bath in the space but if you have small ones or much older ones this space may pose a problem. Also, the way the townhomes are designed - the neighbors windows look right into your patio and living spaces, the walls share a space with you and it includes their windows. Fortunately their blinds were closed but it could be a little awkward in other situations. Would definitely rent from Ken & Suzanne again - they are amazing!
You can't go wrong with this property on the water. It was very clean. We only used the 2 ensuite bedrooms. These are older condos, but these owners have kept the place up. The outdoor cushions were the only thing that needed replacing. Ken & Suzanne are very helpful and accommodating.
Perfect spot on the water -my teens caught fish and loved their loft. We enjoyed the TV on the patio and made a great steak dinner while we watched Ryan Seacrest ring in the new year. Very comfortable with king beds, we will be back!
Host was welcoming, responded timely to resolve a pool gate badge issue, amenities were plentiful and in good condition, would recommend and stay again if given another opportunity to travel into hill country area.
This was a good little spot for a quick overnight or maybe a weekend stay. It’s 3 stories (2 stories then a loft only on the 3rd) which I missed in the description. The beds were comfortable and the decks were nice as well. We only stayed overnight so we can’t speak to everything. Check in was a little difficult and I had to call VRBO to get help, however the host called me immediately. You need to pull the door a little when using the code to unlock. The other thing… the kitchen is a tight fit. We also couldn’t find the remote to the tv in our room so that was little frustrating. One shower had amazing water pressure but the other was not good at all. Here is my biggest issue. The stairs to the loft where the bunk beds are. I would recommend they have a picture of the ladder/stairs to the 3rd floor. I say that because my brother was staying up there and recently had shoulder surgery so the climb was tough because they aren’t stairs… more like a big slightly angled ladder and it’s about 15 degrees hotter up there. If I had kids I would have been super nervous. Also, the half bath is on the 1st floor so if someone had to go in the middle of the night you have to climb down and go in someone else’s room as they are both en suites or go all the way down to the 1st floor. All in all it was pretty good and we weren’t there long enough that we couldn’t deal for one night.
Everything was great! We had the best and most relaxing time. We were traveling with our special needs daughter and she absolutely loved it. It was an amazing and calm experience for us. Thank you for everything! Just what we needed.
