Beautiful villa with a private pool. Walking distance to beach and restaurant. Everything was nice and clean. It was a pleasure to deal with Delphine and her husband. They were super friendly and supportive. At one point there was no electricity in the whole community. They started a generator to keep us comfortable. Really appreciate.

GREAT PLACE, LOCATION, AND HOSTS

We have stayed at various villas before in St Martin but the ones we stayed in previously are now out of our price range or still undergoing renovation. We tried to find something similar and at a reasonable price and after much research and comparison decided to try Villa Paloma. It was fantastic! The house and amenities were phenomenal, the pool area is VERY private, and Delphine and her husband Herve were amazing hosts. The kitchen and refrigerator were well stocked (we like to make breakfast and some other meals at home to be able to relax after a day of activities as well as save some cash), and Delphine even had some surprises in the form of local goodies waiting for us on arrival! The house has easy access to the wonderful beaches of St Martin and also to Grand Case (we always rent a car for convenience sake). We look forward to returning in the near future.

Fantastic vacay

The property was perfectly described. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and it was very convenient location to get to Orient Bay village. There are many fine dining establishments. Nice breakfast at Good morning Cafe plus a little grocery store. You can walk to the beach. However, if you have lots of things to carry, I suggest driving. Delphine was very responsive when we had a question. When we go back we will definitely look at staying at this same villa 😀

Christmas in Paradise

It was a wonderful Christmas, in a beautiful home. The kitchen had everything...just like home. A short walk to the restaurants in the Orient Beach Plaza made it easy to really enjoy a glass of wine and an after dinner drink. The deck and pool were so private that we only went to the beach for a few hours on two days. The owner, Dauphine, took care of everything. We have been going to St. Martin for over thirty years, often 4 or 5 times a year. This was one of the best places we have experienced.

Perfection

We spent five nights at Villa Paloma and loved it. The house is situated in the Orient Bay Village and is very private. The back of the house is surrounded by bushes and there is really no view of the pool or deck from the neighboring villas. The living room looks out over the pool deck and to the right is the well appointed modern kitchen. The only thing we had to buy were the basic groceries to make breakfast, water, coffee, and some salt. Delphine, the owner, has thought of everything a guest might need. There are plenty of beach towels to use, as well as soap for the bathrooms, and even sun screen and bug spray (beware the biting sand midges that come out at dusk after a rain on the beach.) The air conditioning worked well and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. My only complaint was the extreme firmness of the mattress, but this seems to be typical of European homes. Delphine cleaned the house for us almost every day. It was very nice to come back to an organized kitchen, made up beds, and clean bathrooms. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and have not had this degree or quality of service before. It is a huge plus and is included in the rental price. The house is about a five minute walk from the Orient Beach Village which has a couple of markets and multiple restaurants and cafes. The prices in the markets here are significantly higher than the less touristy locations. (We like the market just past the pharmacy on the road to Cul De Sac.) The beach itself is adjacent to the village. The house is farther from the clothing optional side if that is your destination, but still within walking distance. We ended up driving there most days. This house has everything a traveler might want: privacy, location, amenities, and great service and ownership. I would stay here again, and plan to do so. The drive from the airport takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic at the time. The fastest route is through Marigot. There are many excellent restaurants in Grand Case. We really enjoyed Oceans 82, and The Cottage.

Great Stay!

The house was lovely and spacious. Delphine was a great host! Stay in Orient Bay if at all possible, the beach is beautiful and there's everything you could ever want right in the village.

Visit their web page, it is all true . This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. They tell you that the beach is only a five minute walk,[thats true] but they do not warn you that the french bakery is only four minutes away! yum. Stay here you will not be disapointed

Nous avons sėjournė 2 semaines dans cette villa en famille , c est la troisième fois que nous venons à la villa Paloma à des périodes différentes, toujours aussi magnifique au calme à 5 minutes à pied de la plage , des changements et rénovations à chaque fois ( de mieux en mieux ) cette fois accueil d un ami de la proprietaire car delphine absente pour ses vacances , Nous avons profité au maximum de la cuisine , et du BBQ prés de la piscine. Les prestations sont parfaites très grandes chambres espacées des unes des autres avec salles de bains privatives , ménage quotidien guerda est tres agréable et discrète , merci le séjour était parfait comme d habitude nous revenons en Mars 2017 ....a bientôt

Vivement la prochaine fois

Cette villa au cadre exceptionnel est tout simplement l'endroit rêvé pour une parenthèse de bonheur. Sur place, Delphine la propriétaire nous a accueillis très chaleureusement et a tout fait pour que nous puissions profiter au maximum de notre séjour sur cette île paradisiaque. La propriété en elle-même est juste sublime, propreté rien a redire. La décoration est soignée, les pièces sont spacieuses, confortables et la magnifique terrasse salon nous a permis de bons et longs moments de détente. En bref nous ne pouvons que recommander cette villa et c'est sans aucune hésitation que nous allons très très très vite ... y revenir ! Yoann et Nathalie

It's our perfect vacation

This is our fourth experience with VRBO. Without question it was top notch. The owner exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is beautiful, well maintained, and completely modernized. The AC worked well through our 10 day stay. All linens, towels, kitchenware, etc were plentiful and in great condition. When we had a couple of minor issues the first day, she was there in minutes and resolved them immediately. At the end of our stay, the owner, Delphine, stopped by to say goodbye and pick up the keys. We said our good byes and HUGGED. Really! Never felt like doing that with an owner before. We hope that we can get back to this property next year. Wow!

A great place to stay

We stayed for 10 days and had great time. The property is clean, well managed and very pretty. Delphine was only a phone call away to provide any assistance. We have been taking an annual break in Saint Martin for over 15 years and we will be coming back to this villa next year.

The Best

We are three couples who vacation together twice a year. This is our second year here and we are coming back next year. No one in the group has any desire to look elswherel. The setup is as you see. Immaculate with a great pool, separate outside sitting areas. Two Bedrooms with private Bath.Three Bedrooms and three bathrooms total. Two of the bedrooms that open up to the pool. Delphine lives nearby and is very responsive. Short walk to the beach takes you to your reserved beach chairs at Kakao Beach (probably the nicest of the Beach-side establishments). You are a short walking distance to many restaurants and shops including Delphine and her Husbands restaurant Le Piment (which is to no surprise excellent). Although I would recommend a car you can go without as you have all you need in a short walk. wifi is good for anyone concerned. We had a hard time leaving the Villa.

Parfait!

Ayant passé deux semaines à la villa Paloma, très bien située et formidablement équipée, avec épouse, enfants et petit fils, je ne peux qu'exprimer un sentiment merveilleux de pleine et entière satisfaction, partagé par tous . Après un accueil simple et des plus chaleureux, nous avons eu avec Delphine, une propriétaire d'une sympathie extraordinaire, attentionnée et toujours à l'écoute. Grace à ses renseignements, nous avons découvert l'île d'une manière plus complète que par rapport à un voyage précédent . Cette adresse est à recommander sans la moindre hésitation!

Un petit paradis à la baie d'Orient

Très belle villa, avec deux terrasses et piscine privée en plein coeur de la baie d'Orient. Décorée avec goût, très propre. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, toujours disponible pour un conseil. Service de ménage quotidien et accès gratuit à une plage de la baie d'Orient. C'est la troisième fois que nous la louons! A 7 minutes à pied de la plage et cinq minutes des restaurants. Je la recommande sans hésiter.

Superbe Villa, très confortable, pas loin de la plage, près de là village, très propre.

Nous avons loué cette villa déjà trois fois. Toujours nous avons beaucoup profité notre vacance. Le jardin est feuillue et aromatique, la piscine plus privée, les meubles chics et confortables, et la villa est absolument plus propre. La propriétaire est vraiment gentille, et plus attentif. Ma famille et Moi avons avons passés un magnifique séjour grace à la villa Paloma . Des notre arrivée Delphine nous a accueillis très chaleureusement. La villa était très propre and spacieuse et une très belle decoration avec beaucoup de gout . Delphine nous a explique ou aller, elle nous a était d'une grande aide pour nous conseiller durant notre sejours. Je recommande cette villa: c'était nos meilleurs vacances .Nous reviendrions bientôt!!!! Me and my family had a wonderful stay at the Villa Paloma. Upon arrival Delphine showed us around the beautiful villa. The villa itself was very clean and spacious. Perfect place to stay when on the beautiful island of St Martin.
