Host was very helpful friendly. The house was basic, no frills but it was clean and what it needed to be. They left an adorable care package as a welcome which was very sweet. Beach was private but very rocky. We did like that it was in a cove. We had a lot of trouble with some neighborhood kids bullying our kids. I spoke to the adults about it and then they weren't kind to us. It was just the most strange and uncomfortable little weekend trip we've ever taken due to the neighborhood vibe.

Beach Stay

Great house with 4 good sized bedrooms about 20 yards off the beach. Nice neighborhood and a nice small beach. Great for young kids.

Beautiful Beach house

Cozy and very clean Beach house seconds from a very family friendly beach. We had two sunny days there and enjoyed paddling the kayaks.

Wonderful Stay - close to everything in Cape Cod

The property suited our group extremely well (4 adults, 3 kids). We explored Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and enjoyed taking in the sunsets, just steps from the house.

Wonderful Mini Vacation

We stayed for a four night mini vacation with my husband, myself and our 3 yr old. The house was perfect! We walked into a cute welcome bag with snacks, glow sticks for our daughter, and a sweet handwritten card outlining some nearby restaurants and a welcome message. Rooms were great and had nice AC (which in August was much needed!). House is close to beaches, restaurants, ice cream shops and really a short drive to wherever you would want to go in the area. Both Karin and her parents were great to communicate with. It exceeded our expectations and we would stay at Karin’s house again in the future!

Great Quiet Getaway

We were very pleased with our stay. The place was nice and cozy, and you can tell the owners care about the property. We enjoyed the local beach which is only about 100' away from the house for our stay. We loved the sunsets on the beach every evening. Would highly recommend to anyone that loves the Cape and a quiet getaway.

Wonderful in every way

We all love everything about the cottage. We love it’s quaint charm and it’s cleanliness. It’s very comfortable for our family. We all want to make our summer visit a tradition. Karin is extra accommodating and inspires confidence.

Classic CLEAN Beach Cottage

My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The location is outstanding being steps from the beach. We especially enjoyed our coffee in the morning and drinks at night from the porch with the view of the ocean. The beach is calm and great for little kids. The check in process was seamless and upon arrival the cottage was spotless and the welcome bag was so thoughtful. The only recommendation I have would be to invest some money into a washer/dryer for your guests, especially for longer stays. We only stayed three nights and have four children and didn’t realize there wasn’t one, but that was an oversight on my part. Overall I would highly recommend... you won’t be disappointed in this cottage that gives you the classic Cape experience!

Lovely spot close to the water

Karin was an absolute gem to work with! We loved having this space so close to the water and the wedding venue. It was spacious enough for all of us and had plenty of beds. Her instructions in the book we excellent, and restaurant listings on point... be sure and check out the Chart room and the Lobster trap!!! Thanks again, I will return to the cape someday!

Simple but clean and well maintained

The house is a classic beach cottage. It is simple. No over the top amenities. It is well maintained and very clean. Both times we stayed here, there were plenty of towels, linens, plates, cups, cooking utensils and spices provided.

Beautiful Sunsets Every Night!

This was the perfect vacation for the fab 4 (group of 4 women on our annual Girls weekend.) House provided everything we needed. Owners welcomed us with a call and a basket of snacks which came in handy. Beachcombing provided plenty of treats for the kids back home. highly recommend this location!

Absolutely Perfect

My husband and two kids (8,4) stayed here for a week in July this year and it was absolutely perfect. The walk to the beach was at most 30 seconds so packing up wasn't necessary. We would go down for an hour or so, come back and rest, eat lunch, etc and then go back down. So many good restaurants and ice cream places to go to - Whistle Stop and Somerset Creamery are neck and neck in our books! Just a wonderful week. Location was perfect and the house and amenities suited us amazingly. We will definitely be renting again next year and cannot WAIT for our next beach vacation!!! Thank you!!

Great getaway

Charming place-clean, comfortable, and perfect for our long weekend. So much better than being cooped up in a hotel room for nearly the same price! Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience! All details were carefully explained and carried out from start to finish.

The house was wonderful- clean and roomy. We were met personally and given a tour and local tidbits. Absolutely top notch. Would use this property again without question.

I grew up in Massachusetts but now live in Texas. As a child I spent time every summer at the Cape with my family. My parents have a house just 1/2 mile from my house. My husband and I feel fortunate that our daughters are now able to experience some Cape Cod magic every summer like I did!
