Bonita cabaña de bosque nuevo en idílico entorno de pueblo

Ubicado en el borde de la localidad de Pilley, en el New Forest National Park se encuentra Oak Tree Cottage. Con pistas forestales en la puerta, es ideal para relajarse y explorar New Forest y pueblos a lo largo de la costa sur. Los ponis y burros locales son visitantes frecuentes de nuestro carril, ya que deambulan libremente en el área inmediata. Nuestra cabaña está amueblada con gusto en todo con estacionamiento adecuado, jardín de buen tamaño y barbacoa para los meses de verano. No hay ruido de tráfico Oak Tree Cottage está situado a poca distancia de la ciudad mercado de Georgia de Lymington, con su encantadora calle adoquinada, muelle, variedad de tiendas individuales y mercado de los sábados, y en la otra dirección, el pintoresco pueblo de Beaulieu con su famoso Museo Nacional del Motor. Se puede llegar fácilmente a la Isla de Wight tomando el ferry desde Lymington y desde la cercana Brockenhurst hay un enlace ferroviario que conecta con Bournemouth, Southampton y London Waterloo.

the whole house was clean and host very helpful.The conservatory was great to sit in. Location is great too.Only thing I would say is that if 6 adults are staying it probably needs another shower! The bathroom only has a tub and a handheld shower! We all used the en suite shower! Not a big problem and we managed. The bathrooms were very clean! The kitchen had everything you could want!

Oak Tree is perfectly situated in the heart of the New Forest for day trips or pleasant walks. Having never been before, this was just the peaceful and relaxing experience we all needed. Seeing animals every day and walking the forest, including amongst some of the oldest trees and giant red woods. Lots of amazing pubs all around with great food and Beaulieu Car museum and Palace close by. After a day of touring, the sunroom was such a relaxing space to have tea and reconnect with family. This is a beautiful home away from home.
Each morning walk was met with Donkeys grazing just steps away.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful accommodation in a fantastic location. Our host kept in contact to make sure our stay was comfortable. Such a peaceful area and yet so close to walks in the New Forest. The surrounding towns were worth visiting. All I can say is that 2 nights weren’t long enough so need to return as soon as possible.

Superb cottage

We stayed here for a weekend break, with 3 adults, a 4 year old and 19m old. Communication with jenny and Iain was fantastic from the booking to check out. Check in was really straightforward and we were welcomed with a few gifts and personal note. The accommodation was clean, spacious and homely. They provided us with a travel cot and mattress, high chair, kids tablewear/cutlery, toys and games. All the beds were comfy, the location is quiet and peaceful we all slept really well.

Awesome house and awesome location

Beautiful cottage & location

Every need catered for, comfortable cottage, wonderful location, 5 minutes stroll onto open forest, 10 minutes drive to Lymington ferry to Isle of Wight, Beaulieu & Exbury Gardens on the doorstep. Nearby pubs & community shop. A perfect holiday!

Girls trip away

I cannot thank Jenny and Ian enough for letting us stay in their wonderful property. It was absolutely beautiful, the surrounding area,the facilities were perfect,and went beyond all expectations. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jenny briefly on arrival she was the perfect hostess. We will definitely recommend her and her gorgeous house to friends and family.

Quiet and secluded

Excellent stay! House is very comfortable and well equipped and was super-clean. Very friendly communication with owners. Walks in the NF right on the doorstep, but needed a car for everything else.

A sanctuary!

I had been in contact with Jenny before our stay due to concerns over Covid as having recently had treatment for cancer, I wanted to know about cleanliness etc. I needn’t have worried! Jenny explained what cleaning procedures had been carried out and a link to the company whose cleaning products they’d used. The property was beautifully kept. Off street parking in a quiet area, warm and welcoming - a proper home from home. Ideally situated for a walk on the nearby forest and common area with good access to local places. We did have one issue with a leaking sink plug in the bathroom but I contacted Jenny and the issue was sorted out within a couple of hours. These things happen but it’s about the way it was dealt with as opposed to the issue itself. I would heartily recommend this cottage to anyone for a break - a full five stars from us!

Great rural location

We had a great stay at the property that was in a lovely location with very close access to the New Forest, a short walk along the road. The property itself was a good size and well-proportioned rooms, and was very well-equipped with everything you could need. It was a nice touch from the owners to leave some treats for us to enjoy. The cleanliness of the property was second to none, very welcome given the current situation with Covid 19. We'd certainly like to return at some point. Thank you Jenny and Ian.

Daughters wedding weekend

The perfect location and a real home from home (but much tidier!). The moment we set foot in the cottage we felt relaxed and ready to make all the final preparations necessary. Jenny was really accommodating when we made our enquiry as we needed to be sure it was OK for the wedding car, photographer etc to arrive on the Saturday which was all fine. The cottage is quiet, spacious and very comfortable, it would make a perfect base for a longer stay from which to really discover all the New Forest has to offer. Thank you so much, despite one of the wettest weekends of the year we were able to have the ideal base to work from. Perfect!!

Spacious Cottage Ideal Setting for Exploring the New Forest

This is a spacious cottage well placed to explore the New Forest. It was very clean, well equipped and the hosts were very responsive and even provided a welcome hamper for our arrival. We loved it and hope to return in the future.

If you are looking for an idyllic New Forest experience, you will find it here in the village of Pilley. The cottage is characterful and cosy, with luxury fittings and fixtures. It has oak flooring, a sunny conservatory leading onto the back patio and a lovely well-equipped farmhouse style kitchen diner with American style fridge freezer. It sits in a private, large corner plot mainly laid to lawn.
