Really lovely stay at this Victorian cottage and really convenient for lovely New Forest walks. Very quiet road for parking close to the cottage and local shops nearby.Super clean and really helpful communicative host.

We've just spent 4 nights in Sun Cottage and it was everything we'd hoped. Although small the cottage has everything you need, it's cozy and very comfortable, from the sofas to the beds. It's spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the rain head shower in the bathroom is powerful and hot. Michael is a super host, communication was faultless and he gave clear and concise check in instructions, also details on how to work the TV which so many hosts fail to do. Although there is no onsite parking we managed to park right outside the front of the cottage every time we returned back.Lymington is a lovely town with lots to do and a buzzing Saturday market which is well worth the visit. Lots of good pubs serving quality food, we loved the local The Lion and Lamb, about 5 minutes walk from the cottage.We would love to visit again.

Using sat nav we were able to find the property easily and park on the road close to the front gate. The key was easily found in the coded key box. Inside facilities were excellent for two people. Nice clean kitchen bathroom and living room leading onto a secluded garden, ideal for our dog to use. Bedroom was comfortable but care had to be taken with the very steep stairs and low ceiling.The location in Pennington was good for local shops and the Lion and Lamb pub which does good food and on certain nights has folk music. Lymington itself was only a 10 minute walk away. Access to the New Forest was a short drive away. Would recommend this property for a short stay.

The property was very clean, cosy and comfortable and the safe, dog-friendly garden was beautiful. There were thoughtful and helpful welcome items, including milk and bottled water. The host communicated details well before our arrival and the location of the cottage is convenient for exploring the New Forest.

Great place to stay, lovely enclosed garden very safe for our small dog.All the facilities you would want, such as Sky TV, Broadband, well equipped Kitchen.Very Clean and Pet friendly.I will be booking again next year.

Cute little cottage that is situated well for visiting the New Forest, kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable, the stairsxas described in description are steep, if we were visiting again would not hesitate to stay here

Brilliant stay here, perfect location for the places we wanted to visit. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and smelt lovely. Parking was on road just outside no problem at all, instructions on how to access cottage all clear! Actually couldn't fault it!!

Sun cottage

Good size kitchen, decor bit dated large collection of owners belongings not to our taste.interesting garden .Comfortable beds. Enjoyable stay in a cosy cottage.

Thank you for your review. I feel I have to clarify that we furnish and decorate the cottage in keeping with its 150 year old age.Our aim has always been to provide a homely confortable feel for our guests not just a basic holiday let. There are no personal belongings left in the cottage and every ornament,picture etc is placed there to obtain the right atmosphere.The cottage is as the photos and escription show on web site. A disappointing 3 star first time ever

Mick & Linda have always loved the New Forest area and purchased the cottage and used as a second home for many years. We could not think of a lovelier area to spend time whether a day out or holiday.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose the Pennington/Lymington area as it has the best of both worlds the property being within the New Forest National park but only minutes from the sea and the lovely Georgian town of Lymington. The property looks out over common land ideal for dog walkers with large play area for small children yet local shops and a pub are less than a few hundred yards away and within a few minutes drive all the unique shops, pubs and restaurants around Lymington are there for all to enjoy.

The property offers a very tastefully and comfortably furnished living space being fully modernised with all new double glazing and,central heating system. It also retains some original features being a Character Victorian cottage. There are both coastal and forest walks with many other outdoor pursuits on the doorstep. Also easy access to many other attractions in the surrounding area. Parking is no problem directly outside the property.
