We had a great stay at Kahana Reef. We loved the location. The sound of the waves right outside was very relaxing. We saw many whales. We loved the small beach adjacent to the building. We went snorkeling there and swam with a turtle! The unit was clean and updated. I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay away from the crowds.

Kahana Reef #212 ROCKED!!!
OK... If you are going to Maui, then you need to stay at the Kahana Reef #212. We LOVED this awesome condo! From the moment we booked it until we sadly had to say goodbye at the end of our trip, our experience was amazing. The owner called me soon after booking to let me know that she was looking forward to our family staying there and gave us some great tips about the area. On the way to the condo from the airport I realized that I forgot to print out the parking pass, so we called the management company. They said no problem and that they would have one printed out for us and we could pick it up on the way to the condo. When we arrived at our "home away from home", we were blown away with the awesome layout of the unit and of course the AMAZING view! I BBQ'd steaks 15 feet from the ocean on New Year's Eve and I couldn't have asked for a better view. The unit was outfitted with boogie boards, binoculars for whale watching, a cooler, beach chairs, and even a bucket with shovels for the kids to play in the sand of the beach that is adjacent to the condo. Oh... there were 3 sea turtles that hung out at the sea wall of the property, which was way cool. This is a first class unit with a first class owner and management company. I would recommend this unit to anyone and everyone... it was just gorgeous!

Beauty, peace, and the perfect fit.
Communication: Communication from the owner/manager were awesome. Incredibly quick and clear responses.
Description/Accuracy: The description of the condo was very accurate. The pictures were very accurate as well. The layout, amenities, items provided for the guests were spot on.
Outdoors: Walkways/elevators were exceptionally clean & well maintained. Parking was readily available throughout our stay!
Indoors: The inside of the property was incredibly well maintained. The floors throughout the whole condo were spotless. The air was fresh and the condo smelled clean!
Provided items: Linens and fresh towels were provided. The linens were fresh and actually smelled of fresh laundry. A welcome sign to any weary traveler! We appreciated how the light switches were labelled so we know what we were turning on & off. There were plenty of towels provided & the towels were clean. There were no spots, tears, or stains on them. There was soap, 1 mini shampoo/1 mini conditioner that were provided. Both smelled heavenly. Although we didn't use them, it was a nice option to know they were there. The kitchen had paper towels, a sponge, and dish soap. We were happy to see the sponge was brand new in the package!
There were excellent beach chairs, a large water proof beach bag and beach towels that were provided. We used those everyday. We loved that the chairs had backpack straps on them, it made it very easy to carry.
There was a safe that was provided and it was easy to use. We totally appreciated it and used it while we were there.
For us the location was perfect. We would pick up water bottles from the shell gas station store right around the corner. It was totally within walking distance. The Maui Brewing Co. has excellent food, and great service. We were close by to Times Supermarket, Miso Phat Restaurant, Boss Frog's Snorkel store, Lahaina Fish Market (get the Tako poke and the lobster salad!) It was a short drive to Front St. We visited there and enjoyed the Korean Tacos at Lahaina Luna cafe and Star Noodle. Which is a little hidden gem, a few streets away from Front St. (BEST Ahi poke we had in Maui).
We absolutely adored this property. We had such a great time that we are looking forward to returning to this property in the future. If you are wondering if this is worth your money, please know that it is! The views were incredible and we were so sad to leave. Maui and this property showed my new husband and I a wonderful time.

Great view, homey and comfortable
View was fabulous, condo was clean and in a great location. Condo needs some updating and the bedroom carpet either cleaned or replaced. The owner responded quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed hiking, beaches, traveling and eating!

We booked this condo from 4/6-4/13/17 for our honeymoon and absolutely LOVED it! It was a very quiet place, but perfect if you don't want the resort style madness with kids running around crazy, etc. It was only about 5-10min from Lahaina where you can enjoy restaurants, shops, and more people around. The condo was very clean and although no A/C, it was very comfortable the entire time. It is on the 2nd floor so we kept the sliding doors open the entire time and the front door most of the time except for when we would leave for the day and the breeze coming through kept it cool enough. The views from the condo didn't make it too bad waking up every morning either. Very relaxing place, we've already talked about coming back, not disappointed at all.
