Great Location

The accommodation was adequate, clean and spacious. The location was superb with ready access to the Old Town and Place Garibaldi. The elevator was an added bonus for a rental in the Old Town. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Charming and perfect location

This apartment location was perfectly situated to everything we wanted to do around Nice - restaurants, shopping, and transportation. Apartment itself was roomy and had everything we could need to make the stay comfortable and homey. The owner and manager were also quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to stay

We were two friends and enjoyed both the bedroom and pull out couch. Place was spotless and bright and very quiet for sleeping Great access to Old Town, Couers Salaya, Promemade des Anglais, the beach, trains, trams and buses. I would recommend this to friends and family without hesitation.

This was our second stay in Val and Mike's appartment. Great communication with them when we needed advice or had any questions. The location is perfect - close to the beach, shops and restraunts in the Old Town. We definitely recomend this apartment.

Wonderful apartment and location

Don’t hesitate to stay here! The apartment is in a great location, tram 1 is 2 minutes away, and other public transportation options are also nearby. It’s just a few minutes to Old Town, Castle Hill and the beach. The apartment itself is clean and well stocked. The bed is comfortable. Having an elevator was wonderful. It was convenient having the washer, and it was nice knowing AC was available even though we didn’t need it. Val was helpful and readily available for any questions. We were here for 9 nights and highly recommend this apartment.

It's near everything! Perfect location. Comfy bed, clean linens, but once the sun came up, you could see the cloth marks where it had been wiped over, leaving a trail that should be polished off. Sadly, the tap in the bathroom is positioned so it soaks the wood on the unit behind it. I eventually put a towel there to absorb the water. The handheld shower was not supported, which was very annoying. Not everyone wants a RAIN Shower. The kitchen was well equipped and with very nice cups and plates. I would happily stay again if these points were fixed.

Good location

apartment was okay, location was the best part. Apartment is on 4th floor, but you will need to walk up and down a flight of stairs which was not in description. We had difficulty getting into apartment, key needs to be turned three times to open, that would have been helpful to know on day one. We could not get into apartment and owners did not answer phone or reply for several hours. The cleanliness could have been better as well.

What a place!

This apartment has a character and it fulfils all of your requirements, the Old Town setting definitely makes a brilliant impression on you due to its homey feel and amazing atmosphere setting as well as the amazing cafes down below, supermarket just up the street and do not forget the market just around the corner for you to explore. The beach is 5-7 minute to walk on the narrow streets of Old Town and it is definitely a trip we will be making again! Slava and family London

This is the place to stay!

If you're looking for an apartment that is charming, prettier than the picture in the listing, and spotlessly clean, this is the place to stay. It is very comfortable with a great, very firm mattress, and is very quiet while being well located in old town not too far from the sea. It is walkable to many other spots of interest. The tram and buses are right at the door step when needed. The only down side to that is if you need a taxi with your luggage it is hard to get one to drop you off or pick you up at the apartment because they're not supposed to stop on the tram tracks. Mike and Val are responsive hosts and made our check-in very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mike and Val's apartment and highly recommend it to others. Noah and Adele

mislead by claims of internet

Although the apartment was nice, clean and very well located, we were disappointed to find that we could not connect to the internet. Due to the information sheet left in the kitchen stating that the internet signal was often 'unreliable' and that the landlord was not an internet provider, and therefore not responsible, we felt misled. On our first night we also discovered bugs of some sort crawling out from the kettle base. Other than these issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Appartement in bester Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Appartement ist groß genug für zwei Pesonen und gut ausgestattet (Klimaanlage, Waschmaschine, Küchenutenilien). Die Couch (eher unbequem, da das Gestänge durchdrückt) im Wohnzimmer haben wir als 2. Bett genutzt , weil das bequeme Bett im Schlafzimmer sehr schmal ist und wir Abstand bzgl. des Schnarchens bevorzugt haben. Die Vermieter hatten die Bettwäsche leider nicht am Anreisetag, sondern erst an Tag 2 nach wiederholter Anfrage bereit gestellt. Direkt unten am Haus ist eine Bäckerei, ums Eck ein Supermarkt, Gemüseladen, Schlachter, hin und wieder Fischmarkt - alles perfekt. Straßenbahn vor der Haustür, Linie 2 zum Flughafen wenige Meter entfernt. Wir mussten pünktlich auschecken, aber ebenfalls in der Nähe gibt es eine Gepäckaufbewahrung. 5min durch die superschöne Altstadt zum Strand. Im Appartement hätte ich mir etwas mehr Sauberkeit gewünscht (alte Spinnengewebe an der Therme im Bad, fleckige Couchbezüge und Sitzkissen, das Geschirr hatte Lippenstiftränder und Tee-/Kaffeebeläge, die nach einer Woche Spülen in der Spülmaschine fast weg waren). Sehr bedenklich, dass meine weißen Flipflops nach einer Woche Hausgebrauch dunkelgraue Sohlen hatten... Der Fernseher ist mit einer Freebox ausgestattet. Nachdem wir es einmal geschafft hatten, TV zu sehen, hat die Box ihre Einstellungen wieder vergessen und wir haben im Folgenden auf Fernsehen verzichtet. Trotzdem: Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen

Old Town Charm

Perfect for solo traveler or couple located in the heart of Nice. Public transport on its doorstep with the charm of small businesses and locals surrounding (bakery, butcher, restaurants, fishmonger, amazing kitchen store!, etc). Large public park nearby and only a 7-minute walk to the stunning azur blue sea. Responsive property manager for minor questions. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Bright, quiet, simple apartment on the edge of Vieux Nice

Very conveniently located and quiet, looking out over the rooftops at the back of a traditional apartment building. Basic but charming. Reasonably well-equipped although the customary courage for dealing with electricals in France in required. The hosts (local) were prompt when help needed. Happy to stay there again.

Old Town refurbished flat with lift

Stayed in this Old Town flat for 7 nights over XMas. Check-in was excellent, flat easy to find and the agent Mike was very helpful & friendly and the bottle of prosecco & bowl of fruit much appreciated. The flat has a secure entrance on Boulevard Jean Jaures, and a lift to the flat which is in between the 3rd and 4th floors. Its location above a bakers on the edge of the Old Town is ideal for the tram, park, shops and bars. The flat has had a recent refurbishment, has all mod cons including a very comfortable bed and sofabed (untested), new heating and shower, internet, TV with many channels, DVD player etc. It has an internal balcony and despite being on the main road was very quite and peaceful. Overall, a lovely flat in a great location.

Nice spot

Great bakery below, great spot in town, as advertised in terms of space and appearances, we had a great stay and it's a nice property. I do wish it had been clearer that it's hard to get to in a cab, you have to navigate some pedestrian-only streets to get to where the key is stored (a different building) then back to the apartment. If you're arriving with large luggage and/or small children after a long flight the process is a little daunting - not because it's really that far, it just wasn't very clear to us so it seemed complicated.

Appartement dans la vieille ville de Nice

Dommage, le balcon n'était pas utilisable, pas nettoyé, la petite table défoncée, des objets qui l'encombrait. Le descriptif n'était pas complet et pas mis à jour. Nous nous sommes retrouvés devant une porte fermée sans le code. Et la porte avec l'étoile n'existait pas, comme mentionné dans le descriptif. Mais sinon, l'appartement très joli, bien rénové, avec tout ce que l'on peut exiger pour se sentir bien.
