As a friends get together and birthday celebrations, we had the best stay. The apartment was in a great location which helped usAcross our favourite holiday spots! It did take us a bit of time to navigate the transport system, but did get used to it, and we will help us greatly on our next visit to Nice!

Excellent appointment

We’ve stayed 7 days in the apartment. Very well equipped. Very clean and well maintained. All rooms very good size. Both bedrooms en suite. Master bedroom with bath & toilet, the second bedroom with shower and separate toilet outside the bedrooms. It was exceptionally hot when we stayed and we had been provided with 5x fans as no air conditioning at the apartment

Home Away From Home

The apartment was very comfortable. We liked the open floor plan for the living room, dining room and kitchen. Everything we needed for our week long stay was supplied. It is one of the few places we have stayed in that had sufficient closet space. Communication with Mary and Katherine was fast and easy. The apartment location is great. Easy to access public transportation, grocery stores and local restaurants. We highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment is centrally located and had everything that we would have needed. It is about 15 mins walk to the Nice-Ville train station and we used trains extensively while visiting Cannes, Monaco, Villefranche, Eze and other nearby attractions.Old Nice is also just a few minutes walk away and easily accessible from the property. Grocery stores and markets are also within a couple mins of the apartment.We did run into a little bit of confusion during check-in because the keys are to be picked up from a building adjacent to the apartment, but we were able to resolve that and it was smooth sailing from there on.Highly recommend the apartment for its location, cleanliness and having all that was needed during our vacation.

A great choice for exploring Nice

This is beautiful apartment located close to everything. A short walk to the promenade, restaurants and the beach. So very comfortable a d well appointed. We felt as though we were staying in a resort. Our host, Katherine was excellent and responded to our requests promptly and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a deluxe experience in Nice

Great location

My family and I had a lovely time staying at this VRBO. The flat was very centrally located, and we were able to easily walk to Old Nice and Promenade des Anglais.The hosts shared a lot of helpful information before our trip, and were quick to respond to any questions we had. They met us at the door when we arrived, and shared some more information about appliances in the kitchen. Overall, it was an easy, perfect stay!

Wonderful location in Nice!

Great location, close to old town, market, our favourite place to walk - the Promenade des Anglais! Very responsive property manager. A big attraction for us was the set up of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which allowed us to comfortably have two friends to stay.Really nice community feel to the area, lovely family owned businesses and restaurants. Made friends with some locals. Lots of green space even thought we were in the heart of the city. We stayed for 4 weeks and loved it!

Magnifique

This set up could not have been more perfect for our family. The tram from the airport to the neighborhood was super convenient. The location is very close to the beach. Close to the Old Town. Close to Garibaldi Square. Close to several bus lines that take you all over the city. Best of all, the host was so helpful and informative. Rarely do you stay somewhere and the host provides so much information about how to get around and where to eat. It made our stay that much easier especially since it was our first time in Nice. What an amazing city. We will most certainly be back.

Super Lage: viele Restaurants, Cafés und Läden in der Nähe, auch ein Bäcker mit toller Auswahl an Baguettes und mehr. Strand und Altstadt sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Nachts kann es bei geöffneten Fenstern etwas laut werden, aber in geschlossenem Zustand ist es sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist hell und bietet viel Platz. Zwei WCs.

The perfect place to stay!

Super clean, spacious, stocked with everything we needed and great location. Close enough to easily access all the activities and sights (walking or via transit), but also located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic apartment in central Nice near Old Town

This is probably the best VRBO I've stayed in so far. It's a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment with a full kitchen and living room. It's upstairs but there is an elevator. It was super clean and exactly as advertised. Mary was very helpful and responsive and Katherine was lovely when we met and she let me into the apartment, and even left us wine and snacks! It's in a great area in walking distance to Old Town. I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, airy & quiet 2 BR apartment

This apartment was clean and conveniently located -- a quick walk across the Jardin Albert 1er and we were in Nice's old town. At the end of the day, we were glad to return to our quiet apartment. Large, light-filled living area with comfortable seating and a dining table. Each bedroom has its own 2 bathrooms -- a separate WC and a shower with sink. Beds are comfortable. There is a dishwasher, electric stovetop and a washing machine, but the kitchen workspace is a bit tight. Owner/manager was attentive and responsive. Recommend searching for on-street parking; it's so much cheaper than the parking garages!

Un appartement idéal!

L’appartement de Mary est idéalement situé . Il est dans un quartier agréable qui offre tous les services que nous recherchons lorsque nous habitons dans une ville: boulangerie, traiteurs, cafés, restaurants, épicerie…L’appartement est lumineux, confortable et bien équipé . Mary nous a fait parvenir à l’avance un long document qui nous a servi à planifier nos activités. Nous avons été accueillis par Katherine qui a fait preuve d’une grande disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour. Nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés d’avoir pu habiter dans cet endroit. Nous y reviendrons sans hésitation lors d’un prochain séjour à Nice .

Great place to stay

The apartment was perfect for two couples 75+ with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's very nicely situated close to the old town and the city center. There is a bus stop right outside on the street and the tram to the airport is only a couple of blocks away. We can recommend this place any day.

Wunderbare Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Vorab-Kommunikation mit Mary und Katherine und Check-In waren trotz unserer relativ späten Anreise perfekt, im Kühlschrank waren sogar eine Flasche Wein und einige Lebensmittel, das war ganz wunderbar. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt in einem guten Viertel, nur wenige Schritte von der Altstadt und der Promenade du Paillon entfernt, umgeben von sehr guten Geschäften, Bäckereien und Restaurants. Dir Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Wohnung lassen keine Wünsche offen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wonderful Stay in Nice

We just completed a two week stay in this wonderful apartment. There are so many things we liked about it. The apartment itself is just perfect. All the amenities you could ask for, including a newly installed safe which was important for our peace of mind. The light that streams through the four big windows in the main room is magical and really adds to the stay. Even on the hotter days we were very comfortable. By closing the exterior shutters before we left the day we were about the keep the heat out. The Dyson fans worked very well to circulate air. The location is perfect, close to the old town but not too far from the train station or tram. From Nice we were easily able to do several day trips by train. All communication was excellent. Mary provided us with a wealth of information about transportation, local restaurant recommendations, places to see as well as detailed info about the apartment, grocery stores etc. Katherine was lovely to deal with and, although we had no issues, we felt that she would be there for us if we needed her for anything. Nice is such a lovely city to visit and being able to use this apartment as a home base made our stay so much more enjoyable. We would return in a heartbeat.

This was our 4th visit - a "home from home" apartment which is clean, light and in a perfect location. It's absolutely wonderful and we had another fabulous holiday - looking forward to the next visit already!!

When I viewed the apartment for the first time, I walked from the flower market, passing the Palais de Justice on the way where the square was filled with atmosphere. After a short walk from the old town, I was shown into the apartment (the builders were renovating and at work). I walked into the sejour which was filled with light from four big windows. I looked out one of the front windows and saw the view - Tour St Francis and the hills behind. I then walked through the rest of the apartment and it was equally bright, yet totally private. I loved the fact that there were two double sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beautiful old building and the big double doors at the entrance to the apartment were all original. The lift was modern and the building felt good. I went outside and walked around the area and I saw there were gardens at the back at Place Wilson and Gardens to the front one street away. A patisserie with delicious breads and cakes was a few buildings up so I pictured fresh croissants each morning. There were lovely local cafes, a small supermarket, and a general village atmosphere. I felt the area was peaceful as it was slightly away from the tourist trail, yet within a few minutes walk from it.

The agent had many apartments lined up for me to see in my three day visit to Nice. I decided on Rue Gioffredo almost immediately, even though I went along to see all the others. I reserved the apartment at the end of that day's viewing as I found it to be so special I was afraid the next person who viewed would take it! I have been so happy with my decision. This apartment is all that I was looking for!

The apartment is completely private from neighbouring ones. It is so bright and the area is all that I would wish for - a village like atmosphere in a city, near all the main attractions and restaurants, so convenient to public transport that I only rented a car once - on my first trip after purchase. The cafes nearby are friendly and I always receive a welcome any time I visit. It is so peaceful in the area that I find, even on a short trip my batteries are instantly recharged. The gardens and squares in the area have a neighbourly atmosphere and are lovely to sit in, perhaps reading a book if one does not wish to go to the beach or the Old Town.
