Just a two-minute walk from Millendreath Beach, this modern villa is perfect for families or couples seeking a relaxing seaside retreat.Driftwood Villa combines contemporary design with thoughtful touches to ensure a memorable stay:The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area has ample seating for four, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave. Patio doors lead out to a large decked area where guests can enjoy spectacular views over Millendreath Valley and beach.The main bedroom features a standard double bed, built-in storage, and views of the deck and surrounding countryside. A second bedroom includes bunk beds, ideal for children. The modern family bathroom has a bath with an electric shower overhead, and all bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience.Driftwood Villa is perfectly positioned for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts with the beach just a two-minute walk away. This large, flat sandy beach is popular with families and offers stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals during the summer months. At low tide, for the more adventurous, it is possible to walk along the beach into Looe (do check the tides!). Alternatively, the scenic coastal path takes about 30 minutes on foot, or it’s a five-minute drive. Looe boasts a vibrant mix of shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, alongside its charming working harbour.Parking is available via the on-site pay-and-display machine or the JustPark app, with a weekly charge of £20.Please note there are approximately 75 steps leading up to the property, making it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.For further details and accessibility information, please refer to the facilities tab.With its modern comforts, stunning views, and proximity to the beach, Driftwood Villa is an idyllic choice for a coastal getaway.

Seaside Summer Holiday

Rated 4/5 on cleanliness purely because it smelled quite badly like damp when we arrived, but we opened the windows and doors and got a bit of air circulating and it was fine. Otherwise, it was a really well equipped place to stay. We didn’t mind the many many steps up (quite liked the workout) but others be warned it’s quite the slog. The terrace was great, lovely views and a great outdoor space and proximity to the beach was ace! The beach was great too; a licensed cafe, board hire, and even a little shower to rinse off the sand. Saw some reviews mentioning the lack of washing machine; you can use the ones in the Looe Bay Holiday Park, so that was grand. Not that we watched much TV, but when we tried to catch up on the Olympics when the kids had gone to bed, we found it didn’t work when the weather was wet (or at least that was the link we made) and there’s no freezer, just a fridge. Perfect little family stay for us, we’d love to come back!

Lovely apartment & facilities

Cannot fault the villa apart from there was no freezer & it was advertised as 49 steps however it was 76 up to the villa. Lovely location & beach

The property was good but the access to the property up. 75 steep steps and 8flights of stairs was not expected ,and having to park your car 200m. away from the start of. climb. to. the. property completely spoiled the. holiday.The. outside facilities. lacked any sun. beds or chairs , which. every other property provided.

Terrassenwohnung mit Blick aufs Meer und ins Grüne

Die Ferienwohnung ist modern und mit stimmigem geschmackvollem Farbkonzept eingerichtet. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer Überbauung mit 140 anderen Wohnungen. Sie hat eine zweckmässige Aufteilung. Die Terrasse hat eine grosszügige Grösse. Von da aus hat man Sicht auf das zirka zwei Kilometer entfernte Meer. Die Wohnung ist nach Südosten ausgerichtet mit wunderbarer Sonnenbestrahlung (im August von zirka 7.15 Uhr bis 16.00 Uhr). Leider war der Internetzugang sehr schlecht. Auf der Terrasse gab es einen sehr schwachen Mobilnetz-Empfang. Und es gibt wenig Privacy da eine weitere Wohnung gleich angrenzt. Die Terrassen sind nur durch einen halben Meter hohes Terrassengeländer getrennt. Auch auf die anderen Terrassen in der Nachbarschaft hat man einen guten Einblick. Das Bett (140 cm x 200 cm) empfanden wir zu klein. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung war in Ordnung.

Lovely Appartement with real view on the seaside

Clean and tidy, well equipped locatesd close to a lovely beach — we love Blackrock! We can give our recommendation to stay there! Negative — internetspeed was veryslow and no mobil phone access. ....our kids complained about this :-)

Schöne Unterkunft

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Größe der Wohnung ist für 1-2 Wochen ausreichend, man sollte aber nicht zu viele Sachen mitnehmen, da es keinen Abstellraum gibt. Somit standen die leeren Koffer und unsere Strandsachen die ganze Zeit im Wohnraum. Um zum Haus zu gelangen sind ca. 75 Stufen zu bewältigen, dafür wird man aber mit einem schönen Ausblick belohnt. Der Strand war die ganze Woche leider voller Seetang, daher konnte man hier nicht schön schwimmen, aber die Nachbarstrände sind gut zu erreichen und werden täglich ordentlich gereinigt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermietern war sehr umkompliziert und freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Really lovely relaxing holiday

It was a lovely peaceful holiday with beautiful views but not for the unfit as it is up a lot of steep steps. Unfortunately the sink was leaking and most of the radiators weren't working so it was pretty cold in the evenings and during the night. Having said that it was a beautifully decorated apartment with the centre of looe a 5 minute drive away, we had a great time.
