Venga a disfrutar de una verdadera cabaña "Up North" ubicada en Red Sand Lake en HERMOSO Brainerd MN. Esta cabina cuenta con una elevación de nivel desde la cabina hasta el lago. Se proporciona un patio junto con mesas de picnic, sillas, hoguera, muelle y otros juguetes al aire libre. Todo lo que necesita hacer es traer el humo y estar listo para relajarse con los sonidos de los Loons cantando todas las noches. La casa tiene 2 dormitorios con camas queen size, y un nivel inferior con una cama matrimonial y una litera con una cama matrimonial, también hay un sofá cama.

La cabina tiene una cocina completa con lavavajillas. También por un precio adicional durante los meses de verano es una cabaña de temporada que incluye dormitorio principal con cama queen, sofá cama, cocina, baño con ducha y porche en el porche. The house is very roomy and cozy. Everything was decorated so nice for Christmas. The host was very responsive when we had a few questions. Great central location when staying in the Brainerd area.

Great Place to stay

We were happy to have our crew stay at this cabin while we were building a new one 10 minutes away. There was enough rooms, bathroom, beds, and kitchen space. Thanks for having us stay there.

Cozy Cabin

We had a great time staying here! It was clean, cozy and comfortable! Everything was communicated well. It was close to everything we wanted to do such as coffee shops, bowling and going to the Chocolate Ox. Perfect stay for the winter and I can see it being a great spot in the other seasons as well!

The cabin/home worked out very well for our son who is in a wheelchair. We enjoyed all the space. Two things - It would have been really nice if the beach area and lake area in front of the beach was clean so the little ones could have enjoyed the water and the basement room was very warm/hot. It was great sun fishing for the kids and a good location to town.

Great spot for our golf weekend

We had a group of 8 guys stay for 3 days for our annual Brainerd golf weekend. This place worked out perfect. Location was great (near lots of the courses). It was nice relaxing on the patio looking at the lake each night! We will definitely stay again!

Excellent location and home! We loved it!! The ONLY issue we had was that it smelled a bit when we got there. We opened the windows for a bit to air it out and that helped. It was a typical closed up cabin smell with maybe a bit of cleaner mixed in. . It was super clean though so that was GREAT!!!

Winter Getaway

We enjoyed a winter getaway. The house was clean and kitchen well appointed. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for our family of 6. Snowshoeing out on the lake and taking advantage of all the Brainerd Lakes area provided was a lot of fun. I can imagine summertime would be even better as the property is next to the lake and the public access.

It's Beautiful Here!

What a great time we had! We enjoyed sitting outside watching the activity on the lake. The cabin offered everything we needed. Great location - easy to get to Brainerd/Nisswa. Many golf courses close by. This is a must stay. You will love it!

A Great Getaway

My husband and I along with our adult son stayed for 3 nites. This cabin was perfect for us…a great space, fabulous porch to watch the lake and play games, comfy beds and quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Great location to restaurants, golfing, as well as Gull Lake. Loved the early check in!

Our group of 8 who graduated college together 35+ years ago gather every winter for a little retreat. We played games, did a puzzle, shared food and stories. Had a great time!

Weekend away

Great property managers. Communication was easy. Location is close to town, but on a lake! Kid friendly. Easy to check in. I think there could have been more blankets pillows for the pull out couch. If you use that as a bed, bring your own. Plenty of games/slide/tree house for the kids.

Convenient location, not a swimming lake

Overall the house had what we needed and was close to major attractions. The important things were clean (beds, floors, bathrooms, kitchen), however fans and light fixtures needed a good cleaning. The biggest disappointment was that the lake was too weedy to swim in (the kayaks and canoe were great though!).

Family Gatherking

I rented this house for a family dinner on a Friday evening. I really love this house. It 's accesibility for me is a super plus as I am physically challenged. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I loved the lake and the views from the house. My great grandkids loved the treehouse. I hope to rent this home again. The location of the house allows my kids and grandkids to come and go because they live in the area. Terrific home.

Relaxing

We had a group of 7 including one elderly person. The home is one level and the bathrooms were spacious. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The owner was very nice. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star review is the lake is very shallow and weedy. Fishing is challenging. We rented a pontoon and maybe would not have knowing that now. It’s a very quiet area and the outdoor space is awesome!

Rocky start but had a good time

Major reason for choosing this property was the lower level"s bed set up. With 2 double beds and a single this was meant for my daughter's family with 3 children. Everything was so damp (bedding even felt wet)and musty smelling no one could stand to be down there. We had to go buy air mattresses and bedding so they could set up in the living room. We were determined to enjoy our vacation and made the best of it. The littles had a good time and that's what mattered in the end.

Water Pressure and other

The water pressure was an issue. If someone was using the washer or in a bathroom, the kitchen sink water pressure was horrible. Also - the Keurig coffee machine was unusable and must be deep cleaned. I opened it up and there was a live bug moving around. Thankfully there was a drip coffee maker which worked great The neighbors and the lake were peaceful. It was a great location even though it was by the public landing site. The sand pit was a hit with the little ones! Overall it was a nice cabin for a larger group.

We are very sorry for the water pressure issue. If someone is taking a shower or doing laundry the pressure is bad. We are also very sorry and Thankful for bringing the issue to our attention to deep clean it-(The owner came over and took the keurig home and cleaned it with vinegar and brought it back to them) in saying that we will deep clean it more often. And with the bug in the water- we think we have addressed that -we will no longer be refilling the water, because it may attract a bug. Thanks for the comments we are always trying to improve your stay and the stay of our future guests.

Red Sand Lake Sister Getaway

Property very roomy and very clean. Even though it was a rather rainy, damp weekend, we enjoyed spending time in the cozy cabin/lake home. The beds were very comfortable! Cabin was very well stocked. My five sisters and I enjoyed the weekend, and would definitely consider staying here again.
