Walk to the Cove and Broadway Beach, Washington Square Mall, Congress Hall, West Cape May's BYO restaurants and the promenade in this private home in the historic district of Cape May. Relax and BBQ under the shaded pergola in the fenced-in backyard, perfect for children, watch the horse carriage pass by, or watch movies and games on a rainy day.

The Cape May Cottage is just a few blocks from The Cove and Broadway Street Beach. The Cove is a beach for all seasons that draws swimmers, kayakers, and surfers in sultry weather; beachcombers, birders, and surf anglers arrive during the cooler months. The gray-sand beach has been a popular seaside retreat since Victorian days. Broadway Street Beach is fantastic and has a snack bar.

The home has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and two full bathrooms. There are two bedrooms on each floor. Sleeps 8 comfortably, with plenty of off-street parking for 4 cars. There are TVs in every room! The stairs can be closed off both upstairs and downstairs, so great for small children. There is also a cot and pack and play on the property. Outdoor shower with hot water, 8 seasonal beach tags, 8 beach chairs, umbrella, cart, and sand toys are all ALREADY at the property. Fantastic location, park the car and walk to everything, including Congress Hall, Washington Square Mall, Rusty Nail, West Cape May, and tons of restaurants, bars, and stores.

Enjoy Cape May's numerous wineries, Cape May Winery and Willow Creek Winery are very close, with Turdo, Hawk Haven and Jesse Creek close as well. Cape May Brewery is also a very popular attraction, as well as the Cape May Zoo, Naughty Spirits Distillery, and Cape Square Entertainment in Rio Grande which boasts an arcade, bowling alley, movie theater and bar.

We stayed here for our son's Coast Guard graduation which was only 3 miles away, The house was charming, walking distance to dining and shops, plenty of room for the 6 of us. Communication with owner was great. Plenty of beach stuff too if you stay during the summer season. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of this house. Couldn't get any closer to West End Garage! Walked to the West Cape May Farmers Market, the beach, Washington Mall, etc, etc. The board games and gaming system at the house were much appreciated during Hurricane Erin. Beach cart and supplies very helpful.

We had a wonderful time and this lovely home. It is in an excellent location within walking distance to the beach, mall and several restaurants. The home is cozy and clean with extras like beach tags, games, dvds and stuff for the beach. The owners are kind and there are clear instructions regarding what is expected for check in and out. We loved our stay and would stay here again.

Love, love the location!! Convenient to town and beaches. The shed is filled with everything you need: bikes, beach toys, beach trolleys to walk to beach, two bikes and bag toss game. Working grill, closed in backyard and a lighted patio is a plus for families. The carpets could stand an update and the landscaping needs some TLC. Four space parking in driveway is necessary since the busy restaurant across the street take up the street parking. There are two restaurants across the street, pizza, liquor store and a gourmet restaurant two houses away. I would definitely rent this property again!! Enjoy your stay!

We were happy with our stay! The main selling point for us compared to similar properties was the fenced in yard, since we have a wild toddler, and it ended up being larger than it seems in the pictures, which was nice. The shed also had corn hole boards and a wagon to play around with. The living room was big and it was nice having bedrooms on the first floor. Both indoor showers are in bathtubs and neither tub has a bar to hold onto, just FYI if anyone has mobility issues. It was easy walking distance to the beach and to the mall/downtown area, and we ate at 3 different places less than 2 blocks away. The host was very responsive when we had questions.

The location was great! The Italian Restaurant across the street was pretty wonderful too!

We liked the area, only a few blocks from the beach! West End Garage is just around the corner and a great place to shop. Breakfast restaurant and wonderful Italian Restaurant across the street. The houses in the area are lovely, it was really nice walking the neighborhood. The only complaint I have is , the kitchen table was sticky😬. It just didn’t feel clean, even after we scrubbed it. Other than that, the house was great.

Great spot in Cape May!

We had a great week at this property and found it very comfortable for four kids and three adults. It is clear that the owners have been working hard to improve the house and make it even better both inside and outside. It is in a PERFECT location, we could have made it through the whole week without using our car once if we had wanted. We all loved being so close to the beach, Washington Square, pizza, ice cream, even CVS and the Acme. We would absolutely stay here again, thanks so much!

Great Family Trip

We had a great time! The house was the perfect size and in a great location. Walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants. The backyard was awesome for chilling out after a busy day. We definitely would stay there again.

Perfect spot in cape may !

This rental is the perfect size for most families really situated in the perfect spot to walk to the beach, restaurants, or really any attraction in cape may . Ryan was a wonderful host any question was answered almost immediately and every aspect of what you would need to go to the beach with your family was there from beach chairs beach cart and beach tags to name a few ! Would definitely be a first choice to vaca in cape may ! Thank you Ryan

Excellent location; exactly as advertised

I had a great stay here. When I say “exactly as advertised“, I mean it as a compliment. There were some nice surprises as well… The beach chairs and bikes were practically brand new, and I always appreciate the extra courtesy when the owner supplies beach tags. I will absolutely come back.

Relax at the Beach With the Conveniences of Home

This location of the property is wonderful....so close to so much! Each room was very well equipped and comfortable. The beach supplies were appreciated along with the outdoor shower at the end of each day. We highly recommend this property!

Great family vacation

This house is in a wonderful location in Cape May. We enjoyed the surrounding restaurants and neighborhood, esp Key West Tacos. It is a nice walk to the beach, Cove Beach was particularly fun for the little kids. The house has great space, the bedrooms upstairs has nice privacy for extended family and a comfortable kitche. We were happy to find the movies, video games, and board games on a rainy day! The outside yard was perfect for an evening drink, the shed was stocked with beach chairs, toys etc. Overall a great stay! We cant thank Ryan enough for his Cape May travel tips as well as his responsiveness!

Charming home close to the beach

Conveniently located a few blocks from the beach, Washington Street mall and several restaurants and CVS available in walking distance. Loved the back yard with the pergola and beach supplies. Perfect for two families wanting a beach house getaway in Cape May.
