Great location

Just a bit outside from city center so it was quiet, walkable and easy to get around, metro was about 8 blocks but easy walk, place was very clean comfortable beds and fully stocked. We would stay again!!

Easily walkable, really enjoyed the city, no problems, just a lot of fun and good food. The weather was perfect!

The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and generous in supplies from kitchen to towels as well as 2 good umbrellas- much needed. Heat was plenty and so appreciated in January. An excellent location with a small food market across the street which did nicely for the week. Good showers lots of hot water. Weather did not permit use of the deck but the tall patio windows.Lock box was a problem to open. Wifi code was an issue at the start. The host did not appear contrary to promise.

This is our second stay and we had a great time again! The property is well kept and in a perfect location to explore Porto on foot. The host is very helpful and responsive.

Great location for walking to Ribeira district and all must see monuments and areas.

Great Porto Apartment

We had a wonderful time at this Porto apartment. The location is perfect for sightseeing (a few minutes walk from the main attractions). The garden is an added bonus for days where you just want to relax. The host was very responsive and the check-in/check-out was smooth.

Lovely stay

Very comfortable apartment in a friendly neighborhood. Trevo coffee shop and chaurrasqueira paraiso for dinner— both excellent food and friendly service! Beautiful cathedral nearby. Barbara is a great hostess and easy to communicate with.

Lovely flat, great location

A really nice place, a host quick to respond to the one minor problem we had, a great location. Three metro stations within minutes walk to get you just about anywhere. Good, honest, fairly priced food in any number of restaurants nearby.

Wonderful host and apartment

Barbara met us at the apartment and went through the house. She suggested places to eat and things to see/do. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and stylish. The location is great and easy to get anywhere. Barbara arranged for our ride to the airport. I would highly recommend and stay there again next time I am in Porto.

Lovely Stay in Porto

A very lovely stay in Porto. We were two couples and the flat worked well for us. It was very clean and had all the comforts you would expect in a rental. The outdoor space was truly beautiful and a wonderful place to relax. I would mention that there is considerable construction noise currently during the day. This was not an issue for us as we were out all day touring. The noise ended promptly in late afternoon and the evenings were quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed with the backyard area. One of the reasons we had chosen this property was for the area to sit outside. The grassed area was very messy. The grass was weedy and long and the outer walls were dirty. The apartment was lacking places to hang towels, both hand towels and bath towels and didn't have anywhere to put your shampoo and soap, therefore you had to keep everything on the floor of the shower. They did provide a bottle of shampoo/soap, again on the floor but most people prefer to use there own anyway. Unfortunately the people upstairs were extremely noisy, running back and forth, vacuuming and banging until 11 pm every night. Other than that it was a clean apartment in a good location for walking to all the sites you would want to see. Check in was good and the owner was very quick to address any issues we had.

Holiday in a big historical City

We can recommend the appartement for a city holiday. Our impression was the size was max 80 qm, not 120 qm. There was a wardrobe only in one of the bedrooms, not so comfortable for 4 adults. The first 3 nights we had a noisy neightbour, but we could solve that problem. Air condition,dishwasher,refrigerator and washingmachine worked very good.

Beautiful apartment. and close to everything!

Visited Porto with my husband and loved every minute of our stay. The apartment is beautiful and efficient. Has everything you need to enjoy homecooked meals and to relax. The shower is powerful and has good hot water and the beds comfy. The garden area is a plus for meals outside. There is an Indian restaurant around the corner that is fantastic (a hole in the wall, and not much to look at, but delicious). We went three times during our 7 day stay! Also a fresh market across the street for bread, cheese and wine. You can walk downtown to all the sites. Didn't figure out the metro, but Uber is sooo cheap we didn't have to. Would definitely stay here again.

Needs Improvement

Unfortunately this place turned out not as good as we’ve expected based on previous reviewed. Perhaps it was “exceptional” before but by now the place was run down and rather basic in comforts and amenities. There was a significant leak from under the kitchen sink every time we opened the faucet to wash the dishes. There was evidence of mildew in both showers and all the towels smelled mildewy as well.

6wk stay review

Pros: Location was awesome! 1 block from metro. Amazingly nice neighbors who tolerated small children. Host was so accommodating. She came over to show us how the coffee machine worked. They cleaned for us every week. Cons: Check in was a little confusing. They said the apartment was on the 1st floor which we thought was the floor you walk in on but it is actually up 1 level. So we had a little trouble finding the apartment. Once we found it there were no issues getting in. The garden was not as usable as it appeared in the pictures. There was a dead bird in the garden that had been there for a while. The kitchen was very bare. No oven, just a few pots and pans. Overall we had a great stay for 6wks with small children, but be prepared to not cook much in the apartment.
