The Perfect Family Fun-House!

A luxuriously family-friendly modern property with ample accommodation situated in the hillside town of Menaggio known as Croce, on the central western lakeshore of Lake Como.

This property is ideal for a family getaway and offers a fully-fitted contemporary style Kitchen, an Open-Plan Living/Dining area with home comforts and Entertainment such as Sat TV, WiFi, CD Player and Ipod docking station to hand.

The extremely comfortable and luxurious Accommodation can sleep upto 8 Guests and consists of 3 King Size Beds, 1 set of Bunk Beds and 1 additional Baby cot, and all but 1 bedroom enjoys stunning lake views from the elevated position on the hillside.

A modern Showeroom and Bathroom will ensure each guest can choose their desired bathing facility, as well as being able to take a paddle in the outside pool; if the children haven\'t already discovered it!

The sunny garden with Terrace, outside private Pool and BBQ will all add to an enjoyable and memorable stay in this beautifully fitted and decorated property with breathtaking mountain and lake views.

The situation of the property is also highly desirable for Golfers due to the world-famous \'Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club\', which is one of the oldest and most picturesque Golf Clubs in all of Europe.

Menaggio town centre is the perfect place to begin exploring from and can be reached by car within just 6 minutes. All the local amenities desired are available in the town including supermarkets, bakery and a wide variety of general shops. The resort town also offers Boutique designer shops, a selection of pretty cafes which you will find in the lakeside Piazza and along the charming streets, the popular Lido di Menaggio with family friendly facilities including beach huts, beach, pools, jungle-jim and volleyball. There is also a convenient passenger and car Ferry service which operates between the most famous Lakeside towns including Bellagio which offers many craft and designer shops, Varenna which offers romantic scenery, famous Castello, cafes and bars, and Tremezzo which offers Villa Carlotta with its beautiful gardens; one of the true showcases of Lake Como.

Clubhouse

I've been meaning to write to you since we got back to say that we all thought your Apartment was wonderful. The views and location are absolutely stunning and to get up in the morning and sit outside eating our breakfast with the views of the lake are undescribable and we felt we'd arrived in heaven. One of my friends loved the area so much that she is thinking of arranging her wedding there. Thank you so much for the use of your Apartment, as soon as we arrived I knew I had made the right choice. Once again many thanks

Katastrophale, schimmlige Unterkunft

Hatten noch nie so ein schlechtes Ferienhaus gebucht und wir haben schon einige bewohnt und alles war immer bestens. Der Pool erinnerte eher an eine etwas größere Badewanne. Die Bilder entsprechen absolut nicht der Wahrheit, da alles in Wirklichkeit viel kleiner und dunkler wirkt. Untergeschoss besteht aus einem Schlafzimmer und ein Bad ohne Fenster! Das Bad ist voller Schimmelbefall und die Wände sind komplett Feucht mit einem muffigen Geruch! Es stehen schon 2 Luftentfeuchter im Bad und SZ, was aber nicht mehr hilft. Wir mussten nach 3 Tagen unseren Urlaub (mit 2 Familien) abbrechen und abreisen. Kommunikation mit der Agentur war katastrophal, vor allem die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr unfreundlich. Das traurige ist, dass der Agentur der Schimmelbefall schon bekannt gewesen war und trotzdem noch vermietet wird. Haben auch keine extra Entschädigung erhalten, im Gegenteil, wir mussten für 3 Nächte mehr bezahlen als für die restlichen 6 Nächte. Abzocke pur!!! Die Lage und Zufahrt sind sehr schlecht. Nächster Supermarkt 7 km entfernt. Pool nur für Kleinkinder geeignet. Couch komplett durch gesessen. 2 Sonnenliegen für 7 Personen Schatten ab 13 Uhr Einmal und nie wieder... Terrasse war von der Größe okay, das wars dann aber schon.

The view from the terrace was great, but that is where the positives end. The house has a damp issue which was being "band-aided" by the installation of 2 dehumidifiers on the lower level. We had water dripping from the wall of the stairwell that left a pool of water on the stairs when it rained. Other issues included: a single power outlet in the kitchen; broken bunk bed; extremely small pool; In addition, for the price of the place you would expect WiFi to be available which it wasn't. When we complained the company responded, however they kept us waiting and did not come out when they said they would causing a significant re-plan to one of our vacation days which was very disappointing.

Clubhouse

I want to thank you for our very successful holiday in Clubhouse. The property was just like we hoped...peaceful, little pool for children and enough rooms for everybody. Your team in Menaggio was friendly and very helpful, thank you :) Every day we did a day-trip to other villages around the lake, one day to Lugano, we rented a boat, eat lounch in the same restaurant ( i don't remember the name, it was near the Red Cross station) The most awesome restaurant was La Baita. The sunset was impressive and food so traditional...we loved it! More promotion to this restaurant! I have recommended to everybody in Finland this holiday in Menaggio and the Clubhouse as well. I am sure this was not the last time in Italy :)

Clubhouse

Clubhouse was so perfect for us! We had great views of the lake and Menaggio and were really well located for reaching the lake and golf club by car. Clubhouse was very modern and luxury inside with lots of high quality fittings throughout and king size beds ideal for us as we were 3 couples. There was a small outdoor pool with sun loungers and the Lido in Menaggio was also a great place to relax in the daytime. There were lots of numerous restaurants which we enjoyed and the food on Lake Como was truly delicious! There were some great little places for evening drinks, namely along Tremezzo. We enjoyed visiting the local resort towns, sightseeing and the casino in Lugano and lots of outdoor activities (boat hire, kayaking, paragliding and golf to name but a few!!). Thanks for a truly great holiday.

What a fabulous holiday we have had on Lake Como! We thoroughly enjoy staying in Clubhouse! Our rental car was so useful to reach all the central lake sites and Lake Lugano was also within easy driving distance! Menaggio offered everything from cafes, restaurants and shops to a lido and ferry service. There was also a very good golf club and beautiful walking routes nearby. The sailing and power boat hire were real highlights of our stay, alongside the day spent in the Lenno spa! Many thanks for making us feel so welcome here!

Clubhouse

My friends and I had a really great holiday staying at Clubhouse. We wanted somewhere close by the Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf club, so this was ideal! The holiday home was really open and contemporary. We were all pleased with our king size bedrooms and mod cons. The garden had a small outdoor pool and boasted some really great lake views which were all a bonus. The house was really easy to get to by car and there was a really great restaurant called la Barcola nearby, which we enjoyed most days after the golf. The centre of Menaggio town was just a few minutes drive away so we found it great for getting in supplies etc. A great location with world class golf! Thanks also to the hhh team - who helped with recommending the Villa d'Este golf club + many more and for recommendeding la Barcola to us in the 1st place. A great stay!
